Kaito

Kai has heard many reports of monsters that dwell and call this forest there home vampires and lycans a like he is here today to hunt and kill some werewolves that had been causing trouble, creatures like of human intelligence are always a harder hunt and fight . He will not underestimate them as he knows he will need to steal his heart as they are just victims in all of this, as humans want them taken care of. Kai feels more akin to a monster than a human as his curse begins to grow stronger and the dark voices speak louder in his ears as he is starting to wear out and tire mentally from everything he has done and him trying to save and solve everything has left his heart growing cold and heavy in his chest as he knows he is nothing more then a powerless pawn in all of these games around him.

He walks into the forest he removes his mask as to why should he hide his face if he is just going to be killing these creatures, why would be waste the time to stay his blade or hide his face and let any live. He needs to let this bloodlust he tries to contain out before he falls from the edge and leaving nothing but his shattered addled mind to remain. He starts whistling and Revy looks unnerved as Kai's eerie whistle carries through the forest reverberating off the trees. He senses movement in the forest and he places his hand over his chest then forces it in and a white magic circle sweeps over him and he feels lighter and faster. The creatures of the forest come and greet him and he removes their heads and limps from them, he starts laughing as he starts his grand rampage of cutting down anything that dared step in his way.

Revy is frozen in fear as Kai is out of control and seems to have fully become a monster. She knows there is probably no saving him from this darkness that has taken root in his soul and he slips in some blood nearly making one of the attack creatures nearly removes Revy's head, Kai protected her with his katana and he tosses her to the side so she will be safe and he goes rolling into a tree with a loud thud and a crack. Kai stands up shaking a little then he grabs his right arm and pulls and a pop echoes in the forest as Kai just put his shoulder back into its socket. Revy had landed softly enough and she is unharmed and she looks at Kai and she looks like she is about to cry. Kai holds a finger to his lips signaling her to stay quiet, then he leans down grabbing his Katana with his hurt right arm then, runs to the side to lead the werewolf that was closing in on Revy away from her.

She is worried about Kai she knows he has to be in bad shape and she had to help him. The tree has a mark from where Kai had hit it, she runs keeping to the shadows and she keeps looking for Kai to try and help him even if he says no she is gonna help him. Kai is jumping from branches keeping the wolves busy and taking his time so not to over commit to fighting one only to get jumped on by another one he didn't take note of. Revy dashes out and drop kicks ones leg knocking it off balance and Kai reacts and slashes the other leg his arm is clearly bothering him as the slash isn't as clean as his earlier slashes on the others they had fought up until now. Revy keeps moving leading Kai who is following behind him, they take cover till the next wave of the pack are to come.

She makes Kai remove his jacket and she carefully pulls out splinters out of his arm and shoulder from when he hit the tree and he hit him with a reward for hitting it so hard, she carefully bandages it and helps him make a sling for his arm and she tells him she is not gonna be hiding from them or backing down so he better shape up cause they are gonna have to work together if they want to live and Kai doesn't have the choice to disagree. Kai sighs and nods his head knowing she wasn't giving him a choice she was telling him they were gonna be fighting together. He looks at his arm in the sling knowing he is gonna have to avoid the guild hall again or Judith will probably lay into him for being reckless again. He gives Revy his katana he knows he isn't gonna be able to use it as his arm is a mess right now and is pulsing with pain and his grip is weakened.

The last wave of fighter werewolves are on their way to them smelling Kai's blood and he gets back up to his feet. Revy puts the katana away in her magic sack and they move trying to lure the werewolves to a better spot for them to be fighting them and Kai waits till they are closing in him and he takes flight into the sky as frost spikes shaped like fangs come up out of the ground around and where he had just been standing the closer more blood thirsty werewolves got impaled on the spikes and he keeps his eyes on the ones that were smarter so not to fall into his trap as those will be the harder to fight along with their alpha wolf that seems to just be watching him and not really trying to engaged with him as a team with the lower level wolves.

Kai pulls back his good arm and a cyan circle appears and he fires of a frosted fist projectile with spikes on the knuckles at the ones that are chasing him and they are getting destroyed by the raining fists of frost. Only one left still kicking is the alpha Kai feels his flight spell starting to falter because he was running out of mana so he lands and the alpha rushes him. Revy jumps from where she was hiding with a drop kick on the alpha that isn't fazed by her kick and Kai runs and slides to get closer to defend Revy who is in danger. Kai grabs the werewolf's leg with his bare hand and the wolf screams a cries as his mind is flooded with pain and death and sadness. "We were fated to meet and you were fated to die here." Kai blasts the werewolf with a fist of solid frost spiking it into the creatures chest who falls backwards still in its nightmare from Kai's curse.

"You are so careless lets get out of here..." She looks at Kai who is already walking toward the way they had come from. "No we finish this here and now." Kai's voice is cold and icy, as a fine frost mist starts running from the side of his mouth. He makes his way toward where the weaker and younger werewolves would be housed and he starts setting fires and killing those that wonder across his path and his eyes look cold and empty live he is devoid of feelings or cares to the fake he is now killing the elderly, women and children. Revy doesn't watch as she hears the screams as Kai uses what ever method he uses to kill them with and his cloak of wind looks once again as if it is made of the blood of his new victims some beg and some offer themselves but Kai wastes not a second nor does he stay his hand.

Kai follows the few young ones that had gotten away and into a near by cave. They ran through the darkness and hid in hopes the human man wouldn't walk into the cave in fear something dangerous might be in here but the human walks right in and his eyes are glowing and he moves at them as if he can see them, their screams of pain echo out of the cave, Revy covers her ears and tries not to cry, she knows why Kai is doing this, cause it is live or die the fates decide that and if you attack someone they will come back to return the favor if anyone of them gets the chance to get revenge. This is to end the cycle of hate that burdens all human kind. She knows these words because Kai started to speak them to her on their travels while he was training and looking for his cure.

Human nature is one steeped in hatred and blood, leaving trails and smears in nearly every page of human history, not every human is build to destroy some are meant to build and Kai felt like he was made to destroy. The last child's forehead he touched with his bare hand saw many things and many different deaths then the child dies without Kai even being the one to do it. His curse had progressed far enough that it can kill children and small animals by just touching him long enough, he is scared of his curse because it can kill but he knows it is a tool he most use to live or he will fall apart and it will just consume him. He leaves the cave and gets Revy who lays in his cloaks hood and cries because of what they had to do, that it was unfair that Kai had to bare this weight and do these things but she knows now he is still in there somewhere she just needs to find someone that can bring the him he is slowing locking away back out from the cage he is locked in, inside of this current Kai. Kai leaves the forest and is paid for his time, Kai is covered in blood so he heads for home to get cleaned up.
