Kaito

Weirdlock sends Kai to the Hinoki Theater claiming he had intel that the white stars and black dragons were gonna show up there tonight to steal the earnings, so in the early night Kaito makes his way there with Revy and his team and he has them take posts while he himself walks around the theater looking for any signs of anything could be happening or anyone breaking in but it has been all quiet so he touches his forehead running his fingers down his nose and he closes his eyes sensing around for anyone that isn't him or his allies and he senses no one but one person inside cleaning. He wonders if this was bad intel or if they are just waiting for the very dead of night for this break in, Kai can hear Revy snoring in his hood so he takes a small blanket out of his bag without waking her and he reaches back using it to cover her up.

He figures if their is a show down when the two meet it will be better if she is rested, he signals the Rabbit masked girl who reports she hasn't seen or sensed anything around the area either he goes inside the place to see if there are any signs inside or clues to anyone having broken in earlier, he checks every place he can think of in the theater but he is coming up empty handed, this is eroding the little trust Kai has with Weirdlock cause he feels like this might just be a waste of time but his orders where to stay here and stop them, so he is bound by the quest to not wonder off to find out if there is something going on in some other place. He wonders into the back and he runs into a woman with black hair and piercings down both of her ears and one in either side of her mouth through her bottom lip in a cleaning uniform.

Kaito

Kai talks to her a little and she said the strangest thing she has seen all night is just him, which hits him slightly in his ego but he doesn't let it get him down the words of Judith to just be him, rings in his ears. He has more riding on living than he does on death, he sighs then he bows to the woman who walks away and he gets back to looking for anything at all to prove he wasn't just here to waste his time and effort, or if he is just out here losing his night on a wasted trip because of bad intel or him being lied to, his trust in Weirdlock is nearly empty, because the hints are there that Weirdlock is just jerking him around by the collar and sending him in as a scapegoat  for most of these tasks he has done for him.

Kaito

Kai summons his team to him and they are all still fully empty handed on anything or seeing anyone, Kai decides he will let them slack off while he looks around. Revy pulls out a board game to play while they wait to hear anything more from Kai on if they are needed or if they are just out here in the dark with their thumbs twiddling. The purple flowered cloaked man follows Kai, he doesn't speak he more just keeps his hands on his Katanas in case he must act quickly if Kai is attacked or in threat of death, even though he knows Kai is now on his rank and can fight his own battles it is still his duty to protect him if harm might come his way. As Kai keeps looking around he hears faint dark whispers in his own head. "soon soon we will meet again."

Kai shakes off the voice in his head and he looks at the purple cloaked raven masked man. "I am gonna be honest I think we have been had there is nothing here and not a single sign of them." Kai sighs and leans against the theater wall and he keeps his eyes looking around and the raven masked man slightly laughs. "Maybe we should so him why you don't toy with us." Kai tabs the mans mask in the forehead and he shakes his head, he isn't ready to kill Weirdlock yet, but he knows if it comes to it, he is going to kill him, if in all of this it has been him. Kai doesn't like to be toyed with. He spent over ten years being a plaything for people, to test and harm over and over he was not going to be the puppet on the strings again if he can help it.

Kaito

He heads back in with the raven masked man in the purple cloak and he sees that a that the rabbit mask and the deer masked sisters are passed out, from the excitement of the night never happening using up energy keeping themselves on guard and Kai giving them a break they had crashed. Revy walks up to Kai and the sun is raising so he wakes the other two and they call it and he starts packing up the stuff they had brought with them and he tanks the cleaning lady for not throwing them out, she just giggled at him and then waved and he gets out of the theater with them following behind him. Kai spots a crowd gathered around something in the distance as to not alert them or cause them a fright, he has the others hang back and he slowly approached what he could clearly see was a crime scene and he looks past the guards that looked at him and one went to touch him but the other guard stops him from touching Kai knowing who he is.

He wonders if maybe they ran into each other on the way to the Hinoka Theater or if this was as well a set up, he makes sure he gets a good detailed mental image so he can share it with Weirdlock when he can reach his office through the crowd that was starting to gather so early in the morning, he looks around in the crowd to see if maybe the killer had come back to enjoy the attention of the kill or if he was going to see if they could see who might be on their trail but he doesn't see anyone that really stands out to him, and to them he probably looked like the guy they are after for this killing, so as he walks the crowd starts to part for him like if he had power over water. The others hurry and follow him on his trip in case any gang members show up to attack him.

The whole trip to weirdlocks office was quiet and filled with people staring at Kai as he almost hovered along the path at a soft pace to just enjoy the brisk morning air that woke him up from his half asleep state but he wasn't going to let his guard down around weird lock. He walks up to Weirdlocks office and he knocks on the door and he waits for weirdlock to let him in, he hears a set of locks unlocking and the door swings open a little. Weirdlock sees it is Kai then he shuts the door and removes the chain lock then lets Kai into the office and he smiles looking like he is ready to hear Kai's story of handling the break in, and how he is gonna be noticed for it. Kai gets a bad feeling when looking at Weirdlock that he can't place, but it is making him feel flighty.

Kai starts his story of the night telling Weirdlock all the little details he can think of and how he didn't see anyone around there besides the cleaning lady and some small woodland animals that were in the near buy trees and all he really heard was his heart beat and the wind besides the sounds of the cleaning lady doing her job that she is paid for but then he gets to the part when they leaft a nd what they had seen on their way back to see him that he felt he needed to share and get out there cause some of the bodies looked as if they had been moved or posed like a few of them might have lived then some third party came by and made sure no one could tell the tale to anyone else, but he figures the extra details might make Weirdlock lose his mask and lash out at Kai and he can't just come out and accuse Weirdlock right here.

Thinking better of it he sits back in his chair and Kai starts talking about how it looks like they must have crossed each other on there way to steal the earnings and it turned into a terrible blood bath that had no winner, nor any real money made just broken dead bodies to remember the fight by that no one will probably remember come next week unless someone like the great detective Weirdlock made a break through and found the real killers or if there were any survivors that might know about what went down, then Kai lies about something and pulls out what looks like a blood covered note from his pocket. He shows it to Weirdlock who fights not to react, on the paper is written, I will be watching from due east if this is a trap and I will report it to the boss who the killer is if they show up to the fight. Weirdlock thinks the note looks weird and he will go out and patrol and see if any thing pops up and he will call on Kai again if he sees need of him. He pays Kai his reward and then he leaves to go on that patrol slightly looking back at Kai slightly. Kai leaves with his reward and he smiles at them and he takes them to get breakfast.
