Kaito

Kai having got a quest saying he was needed and was planning to take easier missions till he is a little more healed, he walks into the shop hearing a hammer hitting metal which brings back memories to him of his teen age years in the village. He walks up and is greeted by the smith who seems over the moon to have him there. The man breaks down into detail what he needs Kai to do and to not be scared to put extra force into his swings to make sure they count and are not half assed cause he needs this metal done right and not limp wristed. His assistant looks at him, then leads Kai back and shows him the way it is going to work and he needs Kai to make sure he makes the hits count and not stray away from making the metal ring and spark, but needs to be aware of when he is gonna move it so they don't have any accidents.

Kai nods and he has Revy get down and watch him in acting Revy moves this doesn't aggravate his injuries, but she figures if Kai thinks he can do it let him. The hot metal is placed on the anvil and Kai starts striking it like he was told and taught, the assistant wonders if this is really the first time this man as done this task before and Kai just keeps at it till the man makes the signal for swapping and reheating to keep it up, Kai keeps striking like his life depended on it he is starting to feel the burn and his arm starting to stiffen a little. Revy starts cheering him on seeing he is starting to slow down a little, Kai smiles and laughs a little then gets his second wind and he keeps going. The assistant keeps his eyes on Kai to make sure that he is not over doing it.

The assistant keeps the system going so there is very little down time for Kai to waste without keeping that hammer swinging for all it is worth and Kai is having fun, he wanted to learn how to do this kind of thing when he was young but he decided it was better to become a mage and follow in his masters foot steps instead of locking himself away in a hot smithing shop. Plus he owed her his life, for saving him, He hammers hard and fast like it owed him money and he was tired of waiting to be repaid he knows it is getting close to time to quit for the day but they were so close the assistant doesn't think they are gonna make it but Kai isn't giving up even though he is starting to feel the pains of using these motions he wasn't use to, his body screaming and begging him to stop but he keeps the hammer falling and hitting where he needed to and he gets the last few strikes in and then it is called for the day, the assistant thanks Kai and sends him to the boss to get paid and ready to leave, the boss pays him and Kai heads out with Revy following close behind him.
