Kaito

Kai figuring it was time to get away for a little bit decides he is gonna head back out into the Stella wilds and fish a bit, see if he can catch them a winner and freeze it so he can get it home with him so he can serve it or sell it to someone. Fishing was something he hadn't done in a bit since he had gotten all wrapped up in dealing with quest and other events popping up out of no where and causing him to constantly have to be on the move or doing something not giving him really a moment of respite for him, having to keep up a mask without his mask on his face. He figures he has earned some time out of the country and the house, though he figures some thing or some one new will probably appear and cause an issue or a need for conversation, he might just ignore who ever shows up this time he casts out his line while sitting on a stump his mask is folded inside his cloak to his side on the ground.

Vex
Vex feeling the pull of her goddess walks into this strange foreign country with her two right hands in tow, she feels that her goddess wants her to meet some one new, she hopes it is someone she can covert to a follower and this doesn't end up in a fight or an unneeded sacrifice to her goddess. She walks along the trees and she feels like who ever it is, is just through this set of trees and she comes across Kai fishing and minding his own business and she walks up to him and she looks at him and she feels like he is looking through her, she wonders if he is a ghost so she pokes him to see if he is solid and he is indeed solid, so she takes a few steps back seeing he looks not so pleased to be, being disturbed out here by himself fishing.

He feels someone poke him and he looks at the person displeased with being bothered when he is just trying to enjoy some peace and quiet, he notices it is a wood elf and he sighs. "Yes how may I help you miss?" He turns back to his line to watch for something to take a bite of his bait and try to pull it in before it gets a good head stream on him and break the line before he can wear it down and reel it in. He doesn't look at her again but he wonders why a wood elf would be bugging a human, usually they weren't all that friendly to pure humans, unless she knew him some how rather through the village or from his travels or past jobs but he can't remember seeing her face anywhere before so maybe she was just curious about who he was, wouldn't be the first time he had been mistaken for a monster or a thief.

"Why are you out here alone? There are monsters running around freely..." She doesn't get how he can just sit out here with the creatures out here running around but she also hadn't had any trouble with them either, but she also hadn't tried to provoke them either maybe a big group of them are just not looking for a fight but she didn't think it very wise to let her guard down or be unarmed if she was gonna be out here and walking around like a walking plant a hungry herbivore might just try to pick up for a snack. She looks at what he is doing and it just looks boring if she was gonna be honest, she doesn't understand why humans waste their time fishing when they could just use water magic and make the fish come to you by playing with the currents a little making them jump right up to you.

Kaito

He turns looking her right in the eyes and he sees her deep blue eyes. "What makes you think I am alone? Also they won't really bother you unless you bother them." He is not alone Revy is near by and so is the rabbit masked woman, but are giving him space to fish and enjoy the wind, because they know they crowd him a lot and he really just needs some time to unwind in the quiet of nature, but they want to be close to help him if he ends up needing it, or in case he is gonna get sneak attacked and they see her right hands who are staying back in the trees but they figure Kai has already sensed them and is not gonna be an easy target if this woman tries to pull anything on him or send them on him. Kai feels a bite and he spins back to his rod and he pulls and it feels big and he wears it out then pulls it in and it is a decent size and he uses frost magic to freeze it so it will keep and he puts it in a bag that will help keep it cold longer, then recasts his rod.

"Wait you aren't alone?" She looks around and she doesn't see anyone, but she guesses that was the point to make her look a little foolish looking around for people that aren't there, she sees him flip around swiftly as something bites on his line and she watches the man pulling on the rod and working the fish to wear it out and she is impressed that he seems so good at it that it seems like the fish is following him command and lead as he reels and pulls, then the fish comes flying out and without missing a beat she saw him freeze it and she wonders how strong he is cause she doesn't seem to have an info on an auburn haired mage with hazel eyes that uses frost, maybe he is a free agent or a guildless. She sets up on another stump near by and she watches the crystal clear water.

He looks at the woman who had sat on a stump a little bit from him up the river and she seems to be admiring the clear water, he wonders if she has any fishing know how, or if she is just trying to figure out who he is, cause he showed off a little with how fast he froze that fish, he figures it is just better to keep a lower profile with her around so not to end up have to end up in some situation he can avoid on his day off and away from everything to complicate it further here seems pointless, unless he is looking to stir up trouble. He sighs then he gets his spare rod and he tosses it to her, might as well teach her how to fish cause at least then he will know what she is doing instead of being low key creepy by seeming like she is sizing him up.

She looks at him when she hears him sigh then catches the rod he threw to her and she has no idea what she is doing or why he decided to throw this at her cause she clearly wasn't interested in fishing if anything she was more against it, but if she can get info out of him she might be able to grow her net work a little, cause she needs some leads on some key players like the masked man she saw in her visions all she really knows is he is a fairy tail guild member but not his name. So she needs someone that knows that guild that can maybe slip her, his name or what he looks like without his mask on. It would make it far more less a task if she could find someone like that, she is on his left side so she can't see his guild tattoo on his right arm.

"Okay start by baiting your hook." He points to the dirt in front of her and then he puts a little water on the ground in from of himself and worms up to the surface and he grabs them then puts one on the hook, doing it toward her to show her how it is done. He then shows how to cast without hooking herself, so she doesn't end up hurting her pretty face and having her fans mad at him, and by her fans he means the two hidden in the trees that are looking a bit antsy at him throwing a rod at her. "Now it is just a waiting game for them to bite." He leans back on his stump relaxing knowing is he gets a bite he will be fine to get back to the rod in time to pull it in and bring the fish to heel.

She follows what he was showing her rather she wants to or not she guesses it might be for the better good of her cause to humor this man. "So who are you? Are you just a random fishing mage? Do you have a rank?" She is looking for any kind of info and if she can use it, it is all the better for her, but she feels like she won't get anything useful out of him, but she needed to try, and if all else failed she can just sacrifice him. She feels a tug on her line and she keeps her hands firmly on rod the line feels like it is gonna snap, but she keeps trying not wanting to give up cause it feels big to her, like a monster of the river her rod is slipping slowly out of her grip, she holds as hard has her hands will let her.

"Usually people introduce themselves first before asking for a name, you can call me Kai your name? I am a mage that is fishing yes. I am a B ranked mage."He sees she is starting to struggle and he gets to his feet putting his gloves on and hurries over to her and he grabs the rod a little higher then she is holding and he helps her from losing the rod, helping her land the fish it is a bigger fish than he had just caught and knows this was luck but he figures maybe he was to teach her written in some plan to help change some fate, he doesn't like getting to deep in something elses plans for people, he doesn't like being jerked around by fate making him feel like he has to do it's will. He freezes the fish for her and he walks away back to his rod and waits for another bite.

"I go by Vex" She blushes lightly when he came up behind her helping her, she wonders why he didn't just let her fail. She figures he is probably just a goodie two shoes with a rough outside. She looks at how big the fish and she knows there was no way she was gonna land that fish by herself and she watches him freeze it for her and she has no idea what to do with it as she has no use for it, but she figures if she takes it, it will be a good will thing toward their budding friendship. "What guild you in?" She looks at him and he doesn't look like he is gonna really be that deep of a pool of knowledge, she sighs and she rebaits her join and tosses it back into the water with a little less grace then the first time she had casted her line out.

He grumbled a little at her constant question asking, he just wants to mellow out and relax. "I am part of fairy tail." He smirks and he looks at her and he speaks in Val'Elvarin "Your men should be more careful or they are gonna get eaten, by that plant they are about to touch." He swears he saw shock on the woman's face as he spoke to her in her own tongue either from him knowing there were people with her or the fact a human can speak her tonuge. He laughs to himself and he keeps fishing as he hears her rod fall to the ground, and swift foot steps to probably go and stop her team from a pretty gruesome end. He figures it was a mean prank to play on her but she was asking to many questions of him when he was just minding his own business.

She hears his answer of Fairy Tail and she smiles knowing he is the perfect target to find out about the up and coming masked man of Fairy Tail, then he speaks to her in Val'Elvarin, she was in a slight bit of shock hearing a human speak it to her flawlessly and she looks back to where here right hands should be and she doesn't see them and she drops her rod then she starts running toward the trees to look for them before they end up dead and she finds them standing by a different tree keeping an eye on Kai and she nearly hits them for moving and making her have to worry about them, but now she is mad at Kai for tricking her into showing him where they were now, cause he had lost track of them himself. She realizes he is smarter than he looks to trick her knowing she would first look then book it if to find them.

Kaito

He kept an eye on her to see where she went, Revy and the rabbit girl nearly go after her but he gives a signal to not go after her. He waits and he keeps fishing as he hooks a big one that is fighting with him tooth and nail for its life. He knows this one is the monster that he was after today that after catching this he was gonna be able to go home then he realizes she said her name was vex, he feels he knows that name from a crack pot cultist that said Vex will come to calm his soul. He wonders if she is the cult leader in the west he heard hushed whispers about, or if it is just a trick by some random woman trying to scare him he lands the huge fish freezing it and bagging it. He wasn't gonna take any risks he knows she could be dangerous and he wonders if the two with her are cultists as well.

She calms herself knowing getting pissed and attacking him will only result in her getting herself caught or killed cause he said he wasn't alone so there may be more people around that would just take them down if he were to fall to her. she gets back to the rod she had been using and sets it back up right and looks at Kai. "Think you are funny huh?" She looks at him sternly knowing this is gonna be a battle of mind games. "What is the masked mages name that is in your guild?" She tries to keep her sweet tone so not to seem like she really needs the info or she will be very unhappy with him if he keeps playing games. She looks at him who is not looking at her at all like he is ignoring her, but really she feels he is sensing for where her right hands moved to.

"I don't think so, I know so." He is using a teasing and light tone so not to raise her suspicions that he might know who she is and what she might be, he has no idea how he is gonna get himself out of this one cause, if this turns into a fight it will probably be a coin toss between his team and the enemy, from her look and lack of staff she figures she is a spell singer. He can't be sure through cause she is still close that she might see through any plan he might make to try and defeat her. He just plays it cool and he collects himself but he can feel the wind calling to him to make a move quickly or else she might snuff out his wind before he can even move to counter her, but he hasn't given up hope of living through this.
"He has a name? He just goes by masked mage as far as I know." He is playing dumb and he hopes it works cause he might be in deep trouble here.

She rolls her eyes knowing this man is definitely someone she is probably gonna have to kill as he is not gonna be a small insect if she leaves him alive he is gonna be a whole hive of hornets if he comes back and it will be a needless loss on her part if she acts to soon, she might have him corned as she feels corned, as they probably wouldn't find his body or hers for a few days if they trade hits and one of them dies here, or bleeds to death soon after the fight cause she can't heal herself as much as she would like to be able to do such a thing. She feels a tug on the pole and she starts reeling it in losing sight of Kai as she does this task and pulls the small fish out and looks around and Kai is standing looking to the water and starting to pack up for the night. "Do you think I am stupid?"

"I wasn't gonna say it out loud but if you want to hear me say is then who am I to deny you." He laughs at his own sarcasm, but he can tell she is not gonna back down and she is very pushy for info, he wonders how she ever gets any info from anyone with that approach. He looks her over knowing the bigger threat is her followers, or at least he thinks they are. But if she is the leader taking her out will be like cutting off a hydra's head another head will grow in it's place, the next head might be meaner or more evil. He decides taking her out here is a poor idea but he knows she can't know, who he is or this might get awkward, since she was looking for him and doesn't know he is the one standing right in front of her and he wants to keep it that way.

"If you are looking for a fight I am in no mood for a fight, I am only here to talk." She bows her head and smiles. she is gonna play a mental warfare front and not provoke a fight with this strange stand offish man. She decides she will sing and maybe that will calm him, maybe she was aiming to much for charm and not class and fun to lure this man, he seems like he is not one for fun or team work if she had to be honest by looking at him. She starts singing a song she heard some where in the west she looks at him who she swears looks confused by the fact just just randomly started singing. She finishes singing and she takes a bow like she is in front of a huge crowd of people and her right hand cultists clap for her performance.

He watches the woman in front of him just start randomly singing and he wonders what her plan is, if she is trying to get him to let his guard down or if he is actively trying to seduce him but he knows he will need to counter attack, and see how she reacts to being sang back to, he bets she will not be ready for that and will probably want to call it quits at that and will leave him to fishing in peace or maybe just stop asking him a hundred questions about himself even though he isn't dressed as that person at the moment he is still that person she is seeking rather for a good reason or a bad reason. Once she is done singing Kai starts singing a song of his own to see how she reacts he just hopes Revy and the rabbit masked woman don't start clapping for his song or this is gonna need to be a very quick dash he makes to get out of here.

She saw a smirk crawl across his face like he had just accepted a challenge she didn't know she made to him, and he starts singing back and a blush covers her face as if he was serenading her with his song when he was clearly more trying to throw her off her game by beating her at her own game, she is trying to recover but she thinks maybe retreating for now might be the better idea cause she was not ready to run into a strange mage fishing with a singing voice or that can speak the elven tongue so well. Once he is finished she gives his rod back to him and she bows her head in defeat knowing she has lost this one. She doesn't not plan to fail next time to this mage if they end up crossing paths again, next time she will have a better plan to gain info from him, she leaves with her right hands, to plan her next attempt to get info.

Seeing her face he knows that he has beat her at her own game, and he smiles as he sings the rest of his song and then he accepts the rod back from her and he watches her flee with her two friends and he wonders if charming the enemy is a good idea or if he was just playing with a unholy pit of fire that he might end up having come back to burn him to cinders. He puts the rod she had used away and he hears the other two coming to him. The rabbit masked women looks at him and speaks. "I didn't know you could sing like that, why don't you show that off more?" Kai looks at her and he laughs. "I wear a mask it is not that easy to sing and have people hear you well in that." The rabbit masked woman looks like she got hit by a runaway carriage wide eyed cause she realizes that was a stupid question to ask him. He laughs and he puts his cloak on and his mask on and he leaves with them for the day.
