… He never noticed the letter. Apparently, once that he had travelled to his cottage, someone else had discovered its location, went through the dangers that dwelled within the forest, and left a note for the specific Fire Mage there. Hyōen, as oblivious as always, never noticed the letter and its appearance beneath the doorstep to his house, so as he entered, there went like a week or something before he noticed that a piece of paper was laid down in front of the entrance. He quickly picked it up and regretted having not read it beforehand, while he slowly opened it.

It was a request. To go all the way over here to warn him over something in Crocus sounded rather unlrea for the Fire Mage; they could have just waited for him to travel over there as he was much more fond with these areas, their high hills and valleys, the mineshafts and ravines and everything. But eh, he was fine with it. It had been a week and he had trained a lot during that, so a trip back to the first greater city that he ever lived in would not be a bad idea at all. In fact, he wanted to see what had happened in Crocus after his absence and departure. His feet were already moving now as he entered the house and readied some stuff. The cottage had proven itself self-sustaining and everything, in which no worries were left in him. Finally, he whistled for Coda to land on his shoulder. The raptor came gliding from the sky and landed efficiently, while he moved on. The cottage disappeared in the distance as he climbed the hills, mountains, trees and everything to get away from Worth Woodsea. Everything disappeared in the distance as he approached that big town…
