Description: The Progenitor Virus is a powerful man-made creation from an alternative world whose scientists have mastered the ability to manipulate organic materials, devised in the same universe as the Nanomachines, in the hopes to combat the aggressive robots, scientists attempted to use any source possible to stem their growth including Vampirism. Gaining access to the source of the virus, Cain's Blood, the scientist of that reality went to work refining the resistant properties and removing the need for blood as sustenance. On the verge of a breakthrough mass trials began with only a handful of survivors in the hundreds of thousands tested. Those who were unsuccessful instead became mutated creatures unable to string two words together and prone to violence and cannibalism. The fortunate few found themselves entirely immune to the effects of the Nanomachines that were now plaguing every last human stronghold while gaining enhanced strength, intelligence, powerful healing, and shapeshifting abilities.

Requirements:
  • The user must have acquired this through the Unknown Sacrifice Event and can not purchase this through Lupin.
  • The user must be a Vampire to obtain this item.

Effects


  • Daywalker: The user receives the power to be a nocturnal creature able to withstand exposure to direct sunlight and increased damage from Light-type moves. Therefore, the user loses the Minor Light Weakness listed on the Vampire page.

  • Superhuman: The user is capable of performing incredible feats allowing them to jump up to 10 meters vertically and reach maximum running speed within 3 seconds.

  • Infectious Blood: Upon dealing physical damage to a target, they will begin to be infected by the Progenitor Virus, which is a lethal contagion for most people with them receiving a debuff to their constitution and endurance equivalent to the damage dealt while reducing any healing applied to them by one rank lasting for three posts, reapplying in following posts will not stack this effect.

  • Blood Flow Vision: The user can see all major and minor veins of any living being. The user can even see them through inanimate objects like trees, concrete, clothes, and so on. Blood Flow Vision is more advanced than Enhanced Vampiric Vision. It has a range of 25 meters, however, in combination with Enhanced Vampiric Vision from Dracula's Blood Cape, the range increases to 50 meters.

    Mana Cost: 5% of the user's total mana pool per limb changed.

    Cooldown: 5 Posts
    Duration: Sustain
    Effect: The user may transform their limbs into powerful tentacles which may extend up to 15 meters from them capable of dealing physical damage from a distance. While transformed, the impacted limb/s can not wield any equipment or cast any spells through them. This is a transformation and not a spell. Therefore, it cannot be canceled by artifacts or magics that can cancel spells.


  • Name: Void Step
    Mana Cost: 500 per void step
    Requirements: 50 RP posts with the Progenitor Virus
    Type: Supplementary
    Range: Self
    Cooldown: 5 Posts
    Duration: Instant
    Effect: The user may rapidly remove themselves from the area into the void in an instant appearing anywhere within 5 meters of their previous location, doing so up to five times in a single post. The user can not directly attack between Void Stepping, however, can upon finishing the spell.
