Drakkon had stood behind Decebal. The two would find a scroll that was left behind. It would seem like this could be interesting, and it might be something that the vampires were looking for. Of course, he didn’t take it or grab it, instead, his partner would do that, and he would just take the jewels. He was greedy when it came to anything that could be his. Still, their job now was to head back to their guild master and report their findings, right?

He doubted it would be that easy. If they were searching for this scroll, and the vampires from the cave didn’t report back, then would more show up? He was hoping they would find out. It would be exciting to see what they had planned.

They would make it to Baska without a problem though, which bothered him. He would sigh with disappointment and he would look at the man.

“It seems like what I thought would happen didn’t. I expected backup to come and attack us before we made it back to the guild.” He said to Decebal.

He wished for chaos, and he kept moving in disappointment. Of course, things would change when he heard people screaming and running for their lives. It was then he would see vampires rampaging.

“Okay, I jinxed it. There is chaos everywhere. Should we intervene D?” He asked him waiting to see what Daemon would want to do.

Drakkon would take his jug of alcohol and he would chug a bit of it and he would wipe his mouth as he had a smile on his face. This was indeed exciting.

Drakkon was the first to speak and the daemon curiously looked at him. It seemed he expected back up. That was actually smart, he didnt account for any more as he thought they got the hive or how ever vampires live. Vampires were an odd species. Inferior to demons thats for sure. Too squishy.
"Seems that might be the case" Decebal merely agreed with the Dragon Slayer

As their trek to the town was peaceful, it turned out it wouldnt be soon enough. Upon arrival, the town itself was anything but peaceful as there were Vampires, using the fact that it was late to counter their attack. It was as if they planned to move out the earliest they could, to use the most of the night. Humans were attacked and some Rune Knights sprung into action to defend against this undead menace. Even some guild mates were out and about. All in all, if one could define the state of Baska in one word. It would be chaos. Which was something that coincidentally both of these adventurers liked. The daemon laughed at the mans 'i jinxed it' line

"Yes, I believe we should" although less to help the humans, but more to get in on the fun. Decebal placed the scroll in his travel bag and unsheathed his weapon as he would move in to enjoy the fray. He loved a good fight. Slaying vampires was fun as they were a lesser species than demons and daemons. Only being able to go outdoors when the sun was out. As he battled a vampire, he would use his strength to behead one he fought before moving onto another. As much as he would love to just do that to humans as well, he had to be careful because of the boring Rune Knights, so all his fun had to be focused on just vampires.

Drakkon would see that Decebal was quick to attack; he was ready to join the fight, and Drakkon could only chuckle. This was great as he would also do the same thing; the vampires there were occupied with some of the members of the guild. It wasn’t just them, but the Rune Knights were here too. He would wave his arm, and two magic circles would appear. These circles would reveal and release two dragons from them and they would be sent flying to two of the vampires there.

When this was happening, the Dragon Slayer had his scales appear on him. The attacks would land their marks and the vampires would be ripped apart from the attack. He would see some of the vampires noticing the two of them and they would rush to Drakkon.

The slayer would see this and he would chuckle as he would take out his Yamato. It wasn’t just that, but he would take out his Enma to. With the two katanas in his hands, he would release two different attacks. One that would screw a few of the vampires to his right, and the second one, taking out a vampire who tried to separate themselves from the group.

The dimension slashes would cover an area taking out quite a few vampires as they were screaming in pain. The vampire to his left wouldn’t be able to say anything as it would be cut down in half and would fall to the ground.

“This is beautiful if I must say. Look at all of this chaos.” He said out loud.

Drakkon also enjoyed the slaughter of the undead and he went all out with his weapons and his magic. It was an impressive display of power from the Dragon Slayer. He could see the level of power Drakkon had, he wondered for a moment who was stronger between.... but he didnt finish his thought as he blocked an oncoming attack by a vampire and punched it in the face knocking some of its teeth out.

While he felt he had no obligation to help any mortal, he did push some people out of harms way, but only mostly because they were in his way of the onslaught as Drakkon wasnt the only one enjoying this chaos and bloodshed. So was he, with a laughter that indicated a love for violence, death and power. If he wasnt binded to the loyalty of a man who wished no harm upon humanity, he would've fought much more differently. But here he was, fighting vampires to save people. Glancing at Drakkon, he sees that the guild mate was in no need of any assistance as he was more than capable of getting rid of this riff raff of vampire fodder. As Decebal fought his own battles, he considered an idea. If Drakkon loved the chaos as much as him, well why not give him some. So he grabbed a vampire and spun it around and tossed it in the dragons slayers direction. He wondered if the guy would slice it in half mid air or obliterate it with his dragon slayer power

Drakkon was looking around and he would see that the vampires here were starting to notice. Their attention would soon move toward them as they were trying to avenge their brethren. That was fine and he would run to them and he would meet them halfway. Then he would do what he knew best and it was kill. The Demi-God would slice through them like butter with Yamato, but with Enma he would have a harder time trying to grasp the weapon.

It was then he would smell something coming toward him quickly. He wasn’t sure from where, but he would see a shadow covering him, and when he looked over to see where it had come from. He could see that it was a vampire. It would seem like someone had launched the vampire toward him. He would cut through the creature with Yamato and he would look over to see where it had come from. When he saw that it was Decebal, the Dragon Slayer would laugh.

It would seem like he was testing him. He was about to say something to him, but he would see two vampires rushing toward him. The man would wave his arm back and two dragons would appear right after his scales would make an appearance. It was then that the two dragons would launch toward the vampires and tear them apart.

The daemon would laugh, not really maliciously, but mostly because he enjoyed Drakkons chaos "Hahaha, I like your energy Slayer. Keep up that chaos" he spoke to Drakkon and then continued his own fights against the vampires. Though he noticed something in his battles. It seems the undead have started focusing upon him. So he thought of testing something out.

As he sliced up the vampires around him, he'd take out the sealed scroll he was holding, noticing the vampires did keep an eye on it. Almost mezmerised by it. Before attacking him viciously. He pocketed the item and continued the battle. But it seems that this was indeed what the undead were searching in that cave over there. Perhaps there was something much deeper afoot, but he didnt know what it was as he did not inspect the scroll. But it seems they were searching for it. So now they were trying to bolster their numbers by attacking humans as well as now trying to get it the item from him.

He continued to fight the enemy, and as he fought them, he thought he saw something for a brief moment. It almost looked like a mosquito. But it was gone with a blink. He wasnt sure if he was seeing things or did he see that things were not as they seemed. But because it was a hectic battle, he had no time to process what he saw or thought he saw as he had to deal with the malicious power of the bloodsuckers. He forgot they also transformed like werewolves. But just had different power. He had to be careful

Drakkon’s ears would twitch when he heard Decebal speak to him. They didn’t really talk like that, but he would have a grin on his face when he heard him. It would seem like he was testing him, and he was enjoying this.

“So, you enjoying this chaos? That’s good to know. It seems like you Daemons and Demons enjoy gathering around me.” He said to him.

It was then more Vampires had found themselves rushing to Drakkon. He would let out a few spells from his magic and the blade itself. These two attacks would make their way to their targets and then explode to hit more than one around the initial contact of the attack.

He would chuckle as he would move around, and he would see Decebal had caught the attention of the vampires.

“The risk is too high to be showing them that scroll, but if you want to be bait I won’t complain.” He said this.

He would see the vampires running to him and he would just laugh as this was too easy when they did things like that. He would snap his fingers and a raven would appear from the sky. Drakkon would move it and slam it on the ground where Decebal would be able to get out of the explosion’s way. The vampires, however, would be caught in the blast and scream from the force of the attack.

It seems Drakkon too must have been enjoying the chaos of the battle. But one unique and interesting thing he said was that daemons and demons seem to be enjoying gathering around him. The daemon wondered who else was there. Someone outside the guild perhaps? Interesting all the same. Although he didnt have much time for chit chat to learn more as they were in the midst of a battle
"I do enjoy chaos" was all he could say as he would use his magic on the vampires. He didnt really delve into it as much and just gave surface level of info

But after that chat, he wanted to check something. More so what was their goal here. So he tested out the bait. And it worked. A bit more than he anticipated. But he didnt mind as he just had more vampires to slay. Drakkon would meanwhile snap his fingers and a raven would appear from the sky. He would move it and slam it on the ground where Decebal would be able to get out of the explosion’s way. The vampires, however, would be caught in the blast and scream from the force of the attack. It was all in all an impressive job from the Slayer. Who seems to have been having fun in this.

"Mmm, I think theres something much more foul than a simple vampire nesting problem. We have to make these people retreat so we can assess what is going on" he spoke his own observation. He had a hunch of a hypothesis if one wanted to be fancy, that the vampires were secretly bolstering their numbers and made a covert move to get this scroll, but since they accidentally ruined their plan, they must have had a knee jerk reaction and attacked Baska, since it was never known to have much power in it, aside from a few Rune Knights and mercenaries stationed. Perhaps a new guild was not what they expected. And perhaps under normal circumstances, this would've been enough for them. But these were not normal circumstances.

When Drakkon heard Decebal say that, he would laugh as he brushed the short hair he had back.

“If you enjoy Chaos, then you will enjoy being around me. I’m the son of Chaos itself. So wherever I am, you best believe chaos will follow.” He explained to Decebal.

He wasn’t trying to become the leader or anything, but he was here to protect the guild he was in. He was chaos indeed, but Yuurei was something much more, and he didn’t want to have that as an enemy.

He would hear Decebal’s deduction of the vampires. They were after the scroll, that was for sure, and it was probably they were here. It would mean that thing must give them something if they were to use it. What that was, he was sure that they didn’t want to find out.

“Could we just say they died by accident?” He suggested, but knew that wouldn’t work.

He figured he would join in with killing all the vampires here. He would see some of them getting up from the ground. These were the ones that were able to avoid the explosion. Drakkon would take his Yamato and he would swing it without hesitation and it would send out a slash that would then lead to multiple slashes attacking the vampires. They were cut into mincemeat instantly and he would just laugh about it.

“This is great, to see.” He said as he sighed with relief that he could do this without a problem.

"Now that does sound fun" he replied. But if only he could freely follow Drakkon. Thing is he was loyal to Tamas and would do tasks given by him. Although he has a way to switch allegiances, but he wasnt going to tell that to anyone how to do. They have to figure that out for themselves. He wasnt gonna tell someone to fight Tamas.

When Drakkon asked him if they can say that they died by accident, the daemon clearly shrugged. He didnt think about it much. All that mattered was either making the vampires all dead or all retreated.
"Well, either we kill all the vampires or we go at this the whole night and wait til daylight. But honestly, I much prefer we wrap this up by dawn" he spoke as he continued cutting the vampires. He wondered what ranks were these guys? New and feral fledglings hungry for blood? Adept and experienced ones?

"Question, son of Chaos? Are you immune to vampirisation bites and lycan bites?" he never met someone like Drakkon and was curious how he ticked. He was clearly non human, and he confirmed it with his words. His new nickname for him was the son of chaos, which is kinda much longer and more dramatic than Drakkon, but it is what it is. The daemon had some kind of respect towards the guy. He did look like a fun person. And considering he is what he is, its no wonder.
Granted the daemon had a lot of questions about being a demigod, but he figured he'd save those for later. Now he just wanted to have fun with the slaughter. Its not often he gets to enjoy a good battle with someone who also knows how to appreciate some good carnage and bloodshed

Drakkon would shake his head as he would hear Decebal. He was already bombing them with his magic, and he figured he would continue to do so. He had another attack that could wipe the majority of them out. He was fine with presenting that attack as well.

“Understood, you want things done faster. I think I can do that for us.” He said to him.

He would make his way to the group of vampires that were around. He had put himself in the middle of a little horde. They would look at him with a serious look and he would have a smirk on his face. It was then they would try to attack, but he would just swing his Yamato again. This time another barrage of slashes would appear around him this time.

They would feel the blow this time as he could hear them screaming and shouting before things became quiet. That was perfect, and he would look over to Decebal.

“I can’t be turned, you’re right. I’m a Demi-God, a son of a Primordial God, so things like that won’t affect me. I would have to give up my godlike abilities to possibly become one, but I wouldn’t know how to do that.” He said to him as a vampire was running toward Drakkon from behind.

"Hm?" he glanced over at Drakkon who said that he could end this rather fast, the daemon had no idea what the son of Chaos had in mind, but surely it was something much more powerful. He was curious how he'd do this. And would it be destructive? Oh it'd be hella fun. But also annoying when he remembers guild stuff and the probably fixing property damage. So he wondered what kind of a move Drakkon would make

He would watch as the son of Chaos would make his to the middle of the enemy forces. They would look at him with a serious look, probably cautious at what the son of Chaos was planning as one does not simply go willingly in the midst of enemy forces without a plan. So the son of Chaos had a smirk on his face, because he knew what he'd do. Seeing the cheeky smirk aggrivated the enemy and they threw caution out the window as they lunched to attack, but Drakkon would simply swing his weapon. And thus a barrage of slashes would appear around him this time. It was like a thousand screams were heard that went silent. It was wonderful

He approached now the son of Chaos as he answered his previous question. Indeed, he couldnt be turned as he was the son of a god. Although he saw a vampire that ran at Drakkon. He was sure Drakkon would handle himself fine, but the guy couldnt have all the bloodshed to himself, so he moved the son of chaos out of the way and lunged at the vampire. Lodging his blade to the undead creatures forehead. A real splitting headache if you get the drift.
He looked back at the demigod and spoke "I know you can handle a sneak attack. But I couldnt let you have all the fun"
Thus he looked around and asked "Do you think we got them all?" or were there any stragglers nearby and hiding hoping for a sneak attack since the majority was taken care of. Or maybe they all were taken care of. Either way, he figured the priority was getting to the guild if the battle was done. The Rune Knights can be the cleanup crew
