Ittindi
Ittindi had been relatively lucky this past week, he had met with a couple of Rune Knights and his entrance into the organization was all but assured. He could finally start his quest to become the greatest butler to ever serve the world. He was meeting with another senior member of their organization today. Captain Luxar was a noble and it wasn’t something he concealed, whether you looked at his pristine hair or his immaculate hygiene it was obvious that he stood above the average citizen, even most Rune Knights. Ittindi would be waiting outside his office, after 10-15 minutes he’d be called in by the captain. Walking in Ittindi would greet him formally.

“Good morning Captain Luxar, Ittindi Amali at your service.”

The captain seemed to have heard of Ittindi acknowledging him quickly and motioning to a seat in his office. He would sigh before delving into the minutia of the mission. Apparently he suspected some Rune Knights of corruption, a job he regretted having to do, but it wouldn’t do for them to besmirch the name. Ittindi knew this deal all too well there were plenty of cleaning staff who would slack off on the job, causing others to clean for them or others to rat them out to the employers. Ittindi walked a line down the middle depending on the circumstance, he was not above snitching on others if they weren’t contributing meaningfully.

Captain Luxar would hand Ittindi a thick letter containing all the information he would need to try and ascertain the 5 Rune Knights innocence, first on the list was James Byron. The man was an absolute heart throb, with his light brownish hair done messily he had a crowd of women and men follow him around the city. It wasn’t hard for Ittindi to blend in with the crowd. Ittindi would follow the man the rest of the night just to be sure, but not once during his patrol was there any problem. He just seemed to be well like for his looks and attitude no doubt reported by other Rune Knights out of jealousy. Marking him off the list Ittindi would move to the next guard.

Clay Adonai was a guard that Ittindi felt had a bad presence, still there were times when people had said something similar about his Young Master, so he’d give the man a shot. It wouldn’t take long stalking him to see that his initial impressions were proved right. He was going down an alley way close to where they had taken down the OctoNappers, and he was taking money from a man in a cloak. For a second Ittindi almost saw the insignia on the bribery, but he pulled away quickly after handing the money over to Clay. Marking him down on the list Ittindi would leave.

The next person was a women named Sally Springs she was a similar story to James, lots of admirers. Except unlike James she would openly reject people’s advances, Ittindi would end up following her all day to no avail. It seemed she was another victim of jealousy.

That left 2 others, George O’Malley who Ittindi caught in another alley. This time the scheme was a little more complicated. George left a letter; a cat would come to pick it up. Then a flying bird a moment later dropped a coin satchel in a spot further away that he grabbed. The last remaining guard Marion Dig would be much more convenient of a bribe taker. He’d be sitting at a bar when a member of Phantom Lord would come to him and offer him money in exchange for info. While Ittindi couldn’t hear exactly what was told, he saw the money exchange clear as day.

Gathering his evidence and notes he would report back to Captain Luxar, who seemed to be very upset by 3 out of 5 Rune Knights on the list being corrupt. He told Ittindi that he might require his services again later after putting the reward on the desk. Ittindi would take the reward bow and hope that the next task wouldn’t be difficult.
