Go D. Drakkon

Drakkon’s next visit was to Crocus; he figured he would start here. It was the last place he would go to before rejoicing and heading back to the North. Still, the job for today was simple, he was going to be taking out a monster today. That was what Paradise Dawn was about and he was getting ready to take on that task without a problem. This was going to be fun, and he couldn’t wait to tackle it. He was going to be fighting a griffon of sorts. It would seem like there was someone in Crocus letting out their failed experiments into the city.

When he was contacted about this, he figured he would be able to handle it without a problem. They did ask that he make sure that the place didn’t get destroyed. His job was to take out the monster, and at the same time cause as little damage as he possibly could.

Drakkon was wondering how he would be able to do that. He wasn’t Yuurei, so that wasn’t going to be easy. He wasn’t going to be able to hit the monster once and then put it out of its misery. This was going to take some planning and he would have to use the right moves to get it. The Dragon Slayer moved through the area as he was prepared for anything. Its last location was close by and because it was a griffon it did have the ability to fly. This was going to be interesting, and soon enough he would hear people screaming and then something flying into the air.

It was holding someone and they would slip out of its grasp and fall to their doom. Drakkon would rush to the area and he would catch the person falling, and it would also grab the attention of the griffon.

It was not happy that Drakkon had touched its prey and it squawked before diving into the Dragon Slayer. He would see this and his eyes widen because he didn’t expect it to attack him right away. He would activate his spell and scales would cover him creating wings to block the attack. The griffon saw this and was a bit confused at first. It was then the Demi-God would disperse his defense spell and he would swing his Yamato at the monstrosity in front of him.

The griffon would be caught off guard by this attack, and it would feel the blow that came from the blade. Drakkon wished he was a bit stronger to do more damage, but this would be enough to get its attention to show that Drakkon wasn’t weak. The griffon would see this and it would fly into the air as it was wounded a bit by Drakkon’s attack.

The dragon slayer saw it going into the air and he would scratch the back of his head. He couldn’t fly and now that he thought about it the man needed to copy a spell like that soon enough. He would see the griffon looking at him as Drakkon had let go of the person they had just saved. It was a woman of course, and she was head over heels for the man saving her. He was a hot thing as well from her point of view, but he didn’t have the time to give her the attention she needed. The griffon would shoot out an attack, and Drakkon would see it where it would go.

He could have avoided the attack, but then he remembered what they had said. They wanted minimal destruction in the area. He would sigh with disappointment as he would take the hit without a problem. The first thing that had gone through his head was the need to bring that monster down to the ground.

Drakkon would have had his arm torn apart, but it would soon regenerate to look a bit normal. It wasn’t just that, but the young man had decided to go for a counterattack as that was for the best. He would snap his finger and a raven would appear above the griffon. The creature wouldn’t know as it was fixated between Drakkon and the woman that was supposed to be its next meal. It was then the raven would just drop down on the griffon. The blow was strong and fast, which brought the griffon to fall from the sky. Drakkon would see this as an opportunity to finish the creature off.

His Yamato had the ability to deal the damage necessary to take it out of its misery. He would run toward the direction it was falling in and he would jump into the air when the time was ready.

Drakkon would swing his katana without hesitating. It would slice the griffon without a problem, but it wouldn’t stop there. He would activate his spell when he swung the blade, and dimensional slashes would appear throughout the area and it would cut the griffon up even more. The monster would squawk in pain from the blows as it had done the final blow to take the griffon out of this world. It would hit the ground and Drakkon would make sure that it was no longer moving. Once he confirmed it, he would drag it with him to the best of his ability.

The woman was surprised by everything that had happened, but she was still surprised that he could heal the way he did. When Drakkon got to his client with the griffon on the ground, he was sweating like crazy. The client had confirmed that he didn’t destroy the city with his magic, and he was pleased that Drakkon had even saved someone. He would take out the reward he was going to give at least two people and he would hand it to Drakkon without a problem. The Dragon Slayer would take the reward and put it away. He wasn’t done with his job as he was heading to the next place, which was Era.
