Go D. Drakkon

Drakkon had been given another job from the guild. This one was unique and it was one of those quests that he would only get once a month. The Dragon Slayer was fine with that because these were the type of jobs he truly enjoyed. He was going to have to hunt someone down and get paid for it. This was perfect, and this time he was being sent to Seven.

That was perfect as it was another place he had none gone to. The Demi-God made sure to travel throughout Fiore, so nobody could ever run from him. He was doing the same thing with the countries. This place was infested with monsters though, and it would seem like a person who was wanted and flee in the wilderness where the monsters were located. It was interesting that this was the only information that was given to him, so he would have to hope to find a trail where the man had gone.

The man was in Seven with Luci, the two of them were outside of the city and they had given him the direction they had seen him last. They said it had only been a day since he fled the scene, and that the monsters in this land would make it hard for him to travel too far. That was good because Drakkon was a monster, so it would make him fit right in.

The Dragon Slayer would make his way forward; he would follow the tracks that he had eventually found, and he laughed a bit.

“I guess he didn’t think he would be followed. That means the people here feel it is suicide to go here unless you are strong enough.” He said to Luci as the demon would smoke a bit.

“Yeah, and that’s why they hired someone like you to handle it.” He said to Drakkon.

Drakkon nodded as that was understandable he was at a slower pace than normal, but it was because he was not trying to lose the tracks he had in front of him.

He kept moving into the forest and he would hear different noises from all over the place. It would seem like this place was active, and he had a smirk on his face. He was wondering which of these creatures would be stupid enough to attack him. The young man kept moving around, and soon enough he would have his question answered. A giant would catch sight of him and it would rush to him. He caught wind that something was closing the gap between the two and he would see that it was something bigger than him. It was then that Drakkon would grow wings and it would cover him to block the damage that was being attempted on his life.

He would easily clear out the wings, and he would pull out his Yamato. He would activate two spells with those two quick swings. One being his own magic, and the second being the one that had come from Yamato itself. These two attacks would hit the giant directly and without hesitation. It would be minced meat as it would fall to the ground and he would shake his head.

Drakkon would look around to see if there was anything else that would have wanted to attack him. He would look down to see that the tracks he was following were still fine. That was good, and he would start moving forward. The general population from the wildlife, would stay clear of Drakkon. They sense, saw, and felt what he had done in a mere instant to the giant. That was not something that they wanted to test. The Dragon Slayer would keep walking though as he could see the tracks continued. He was glad that it didn’t rain or things would have been much harder.

The Demi-God kept moving and he was hoping he would find the man, but how far could he have gone if something like that giant was out here? While he was thinking this, he would catch two getting closer to him. It was soon enough he would see two giants coming toward him.

The man would shake his head as he would wave away from them and two dragons would come from a magic circle behind him. The scales on his body would show he meant business. When they were hit they would fall to the ground because their legs had become numb. He would shake his head as he would cut them both with Yamato in his hand. He would cut their heads off without a problem and he would keep walking. He had lost track of the man because of him.

He was looking around the place as he was hoping that he would be able to find it again. It would take him several minutes, but he would definitely find what he was looking for. The Dragon Slayer would keep moving as he felt like he was getting closer to his destination. He wasn’t sure if that was true or not, but he would eventually find out.

Drakkon would just continue moving and he would catch another whiff. This scent was different, and it would cause him to hold his nose. That was a bad scent, and he didn’t like it. That was the smell of death, and it was coming from the direction where the tracks were leading. He wondered how strong this guy was. Did he kill something and leave it there to rot the day before?

This would be interesting, which meant that he would be able to showcase more of his abilities. He kept moving this time he was on his guard. He wasn’t sure if the man was still around and was using this as a trap or if he was even here in the first place. When he got closer to the smell, he would find it annoying and something he just wanted to avoid. Still, his eyes caught a glimpse of what that nasty smell was. He would laugh a bit as he couldn’t believe his eyes.

Drakkon would approach the scene before him as he was disappointed in the situation he was in.

Drakkon would make it to the body and he would kneel down to get a better look. He would just look at the man and he would get a good look at him. This was the guy he was supposed to be searching for. It would seem like someone had gotten to him. He was pretty sure that it had to be one of the animals here. They had done his job for him and it would bother him. The Dragon Slayer would just shake his head as he was glad that his face was recognizable. He would take his head back and show them proof that he had been taken care of.

“You ran out here to save your life, but in the end, all you did was get yourself killed. How poetic is that? You ran from one problem and then ran into one. Isn’t that a shame?” He said to the dead man.

He would cut the man’s head off and he would leave where he had come from. The things around him would let him go as they didn’t want to mess with him. It wouldn’t take long for him to get back to the Seven City, and there he would hand over the man’s head. When they confirmed it was the man they wanted dead or alive, they would hand Drakkon his reward.
