Cleaning It Up

Strolling through the streets of Oak, Ikanbi found herself doing some volunteer work for the community. What exactly? Some simple cleanup. It wasn't the greatest of work but it was rather simple and quite peaceful. She took with her a large sack and as she walked through the streets she collected trash off of the ground. There wasn't terribly much of it to be honest but the things she did find did kind of surprise her. A child's doll she found she dusted off and cleaned a bit before giving it a little pink ribbon in its hair and gently placing it next to a tree. Maybe its owner would return for it soon.

Ikanbi continued her work, cleaning the streets of Oak quite literally on her hands and knees at times. She even scraped food off of the walkways and unclogged a flooding drain. All in a days work.

The next day Ikanbi took it upon herself to help with some more cleanup. With Nico at her side she had grabbed the mop and bucket and filled it with water and magical cleaning solution. "For The Unholiest of Sins" It said on the side of the container. She chuckled audibly and a few of the church workers looked in her direction, saw what she was holding and also let out a chuckle. "Oh yeah it works really good too!" One of them said aloud in her direction. She nodded. "I'm counting on it." She said in response.

Ikanbi took the mop and cleaning bucket and went to work, scrubbing away at the floors and deciding to use a deck scrubber as well, forgoing the mop for just the time being. She scrubbed away, tediously and with grit. For quite some time she scrubbed the floors, then went back over it with the mop until she was satisfied with its cleanliness. "Yeah I think that'll do." She said finally, content with her work, then leaving the area while it dried.

Continuing on with her little side project, Ikanbi of Desierto hoisted herself up the ladder with a bucket of magically soapy water. She took several rags, and kept one of them wet whilst the others were dry. With the wet rag Ikanbi began to clean the windows. She started with the biggest one first, the most ornate and elaborate looking one with the most beautiful stained glass work put into it. It was a nice task, she had to admit. Of all the cleaning projects she had done so far this one was by far the easiest to accomplish and the least taxing on her back. It was easy to her, really, for she was never one to be afraid of heights.

She continued the work, wiping in circles and then drying the same area appropriately with a squeegee and admiring her work. She then moved on to the next window once she had finally finished the largest of them.
