Vex got another request to handle some more pest control and her right hands had caught up with her and Carla had stayed by her side and was not going to get left behind and she gets closer to the place the client had wanted to meet up at but she had a weird feeling about it and she is on her guard as a man with body guard walks up and he had them walk into an alley and he started telling them about his request that he was in heavy need to have his shop cleared out and she was the one whose name had been given to him to ask for when doing the request and she nods that she will do it but she wondered what and why she was the one that was given to this man, was he some sicko with a fetish or was he also a cultist like she was.

She didn't think he was one of her flock at least not to her knowledge, so him saying this made her a bit more on edge as she didn't think that anyone would say her name as a go to to people out side of these circles so she needed to make sure that she is careful that she doesn't just walk head first into an ambush set up to take her out as other cultist were in the north as well and she will have to put them down as well. Tutrix will raise up here and she will make sure of that and she will not back down from this ideal and that means that there will be people that will have to deal with this for her as she keeps trying to take care of other things as her cult has been growing and is not going to back down.

She takes the key and she heads for the place and she feels like she is being watched from some where near by but she pretends that she doesn't sense them and he gets into the place and there are pests in here rats and giant insects and they fight their way in and Carla flies up and grabs onto vex and flies around while Vex fires her arrows at the pests as her right hands work hard together to keep the rats back and her arrows don't miss their targets as she keeps fighting and that proves that she needs to keep up her practice as her shots are homing but that doesn't mean that she can't miss as some of her arrows go wide but then the arrows hook around and hit different targets but she is not happy with this. She is not use to flying and shooting so she needs to work on it so that she can hit more of her shots.

Her right hands are doing their best to keep these pests off of their leader and on the ground for her to keep shooting as she was testing out what she can do at the moment with the newly healed up and strength back Carla. Carla sees what Vex does for people rather they believe in her goddess or not. She might not believe in Tutrix but she does believe in Vex and she will support her in any way that she can if one day she is sacrifice she will accept it as she can only do so much to help her but that is what it is sometimes, she doubts Vex would ever do that to her. Vex knocks back two arrows and fires them and they swirl around each other and strike the target perfectly like they should have. Carla was impressed and how fast the woman is adapting to the flying and firing her bow like that, she guesses that Vex was always a quick learner.

Her right hands are looking for where the monsters are coming from and they fight their way along and Carla lands with Vex and Carla is tired from all the flying cause it takes a lot out of her even though Vex is very light it was still a big strain on her body to fly for so long and Vex understands and she keeps Carla safe while she recovers and she has the exceed ride on her back as she jumps flips and shoots not staying still for too long as she was not going to half ass her missions and quests even if sometimes she feels like she should be doing something bigger with her time but she was going to keep her self moving forward and gaining all of the stuff that was stolen back and get the sewer closed back out of the place so the owner can have piece of mind.

Something just dawned on her maybe the guy that hired her was part of the rival cultists in the north to her even if they are the cult that her ex guild master believed in she needed to wipe them out if she gets the chance and that was what her game was for now that she doesn't get caught and she takes them out put that doesn't mean that she was in the right either as she needs to take them out that means killing heads of their secs which means finding them. Her right hands call out to her as there was a sec down here and they were who were sending in rats and stealing things from the store. She doesn't get why a cult would want to be breaking in and stealing things was there a powerful relic here for them or something? Vex guessed she was going to have to find out and get to the bottom of it as soon as she can.

As they entered the basement area the enemy cultists start firing off spells at her and she is protected by her right hands that send spells back at them and Vex fires a sing arrow up and at it's apex it splits into many arrows that rain down on the cultist the throw up barriers to defend themselves and she had her right hands move up with cation as they are not sure if this was going to be a trap or not as she was not willing to risk their lives or Carla's life because she got over confident in this place. Her right hands trust in her judgement and as Vex thought it was a trap and her right hands deal with it like it was nothing and push forward to get through the layered barriers to stop and catch the spells her team were throwing at them but Vex fires her bows and it goes through the enemies spells and hitting them perfectly.

The cultists summon more rats that are just running right into the meat grinder that is her right hands and they are not getting anywhere as this was a lot of unknowns that they had challenged her and that was not looking good for them as the rats fall and the other cultists are getting backed up into the sewer and they are cursing her name which means they knew she was coming maybe the man was forced to send her into this place and then it happens one of the cultists summons a giant monster that seems pretty sturdy and made of stones but Vex didn't flinch and she keeps releasing arrows into it and it is crumbling as it tries to defend it's weak spot and that is getting beat on by the hails of arrows from vex who was smiling as she sees that they were not very smart using a earth magic vs her water magic.

The golem crumbles and falls apart and she takes aim at the cultists that were trying to hide behind the pieces of the broken golem they are begging for forgiveness and she makes a magic circle and she tells them to stand in it and all will be forgiven. Once the ones brave enough walked into it she started singing and the circle activated and the ones in it started to panic as they were consumed as offerings to Tutrix, their god didn't save them nor could their god have saved them and the ones that hadn't entered the circle were finished off by her right hands before they walked over and closed off the way to the sewer so that the shop was cleared and the items returned then they would be rat free for now. They leave the shop and they return to the client who pays them and thanks them for freeing him from them.
