Toge had been hanging out in Hosenka for a while. With Luci the Demon they were out here trying to bank on as many jewels as they could. They were going to see the leader of the Dragon Gang. He had done a few things for him so far and it would seem like things were going smoothly. He would tell his original clients a bunch of lies, and whenever they try to act in the location Toge gave them, they thought it was too late. It was getting to the point where they started thinking if Toge was lying. Still, they didn’t have any proof of that.

He would enter the tavern without a problem. He would nod at the people there and they would do the same thing. They knew he wasn’t doing anything bad, so they acknowledged his existence. It didn’t mean that they fully trusted him just yet.

Toge wouldn’t move to the bar this time. Instead, he would look at the area where the leader was, and he would walk toward him. Once he got close, he would take a seat on the couch. He would look over to the man and he would look toward the paladin.

“So, I never got your name. If you’re going to be my boss, it would be good that I get your name right?” He asked him.

Luci was on his shoulder this time and he was smoking his cigarette without a care in the world.

The man would look at Toge and he would nod as he would slide a piece of paper on the table.

“My name is Dracon. Now if that is all you need to know, then get me my money from the address. If they don’t give me my money trash the place and tell them to close their shop.” he said to Toge as he would lean back on his chair.

Toge would take the paper that was on the table, and he would get up from the couch. He would look at the address, and he would walk out of the tavern. Once he was outside, he would start walking toward where he had to go. He had been Hosenka for some time, and he made sure to familiarize himself with the place.

“So, now you know his name. What is the plan Toge?” He asked him curious as to why he had asked that question.

Toge would look over to Luci with a smirk on his face.

“If I know his name, then I can get closer to him. As I continue to do these types of jobs, the more he would trust me. I get my hands dirty, and he would have no reason but to trust me. Which means I’ll get paid more.” He said to Luci the demon.

Luci would nod when he heard what his friend had said. He would continue smoking his cigarette as he wondered how it would all end. The earth mage would make his way toward the address, and when he got there, he would notice that it was a shop. He figured that this place was under the protection of the Dragon Gang, and they didn’t pay their dues. Toge would enter the place, and he would walk around without any expression on his face.

He was looking around the place as the person behind the counter would look at them. It wouldn’t take long, but Toge would look over to the man who was looking at him with a smirk.

“So, I’m here under the Dragon gang. And since you’re under our protection, I don’t need to tell you why I’m here right?” He asked waiting to see what the man would say to him.

The man had heard his words, and he got nervous. He was about to tell the guy that he didn’t have the money. Still, when he got a closer look at Toge's face, it seemed like that was what he wanted to say. It would become quiet for a few as he was trying to think about what to do. It wouldn’t take long, but he figured that he would answer his question first.

“Of course, I know why you’re here today. I’m sorry it took longer than expected, but I will get you what you need right now.” He said to Toge as he would go to the back.

He would open the vault and he would look over at the weapon he had there. He thought about it, and he would shake his head because that would be a bad idea. He would get the jewels that he owed Drakon and he would close the vault.

The man would come back to Toge with the jewels in his hand. The demi-human would suck his teeth as he didn’t expect him to do this. He was expecting him to run or something. He would walk over to the man and he would take the jewels that were being given to him. He would look into the man’s eyes as he took a hold of them.

“Damn, I was really hoping you didn’t have the jewels.” He said to him with a smirk on his face.

He would walk over to the exit of the door, and he would look back at the man.

“It was a pleasure doing business with you.” He would say this as he would walk out of the store and he would start heading back to the tavern.

It was an easy task for him to do, but he was hoping that he would be able to do harder jobs sooner than later.

Toge would walk back to the tavern with Luci the demon on his shoulder. He would enter the place with the jewels in his hand. The men in there would look at him and it would seem like he had retrieved the jewels that were owned by their leader. It wasn’t hard to do, and he would walk over to the couch as he would say down. When he did, he would move the jewels to Dracon, and he would lean back on the couch.

Dracon would count the jewels and when he saw that it was all there, he would smile as he would take some of the jewels and he would hand them to Toge.

“Good work.” He said to him.

Toge would nod as he would take the jewels and he would be on his way. He would tell his client that they didn’t do anything today and he was just cleaning and doing chores since he was new.
