Now was the time to get down to work. Za hadn't known the devil he had just consulted with, but he knew that he or she was not an entity to play with. There was a hint of fear that radiated off of the boy as he left the building, watching it burn down as all evidence of anything happening had been washed away by the waves of the flames. Both the Nimulli and Luci were supposed to meet with the Devil after finishing the task given, back at the location of the building that had been turned to ash. At least that's what he thought, but something told him that the devil had moved to another location. Either way, what needed the most attention was the mission. The young Nimulli knew what he was supposed to do, but he had never kidnapped anyone before, much less kept one of his victims alive.

It was a good thing Luci was here. The shadow-like creature with a pointed tail and a flask in his hand hadn't said a word since they left the building. Right now, he was completely serious which came as a surprise to Z'Aleel. He knew that Luci was an unpredictable dickhead, but for him to be silent and not break out into a witty monologue was something new. Perhaps he was struck with fear. After all, he was just in the presence of a devil. Or maybe he was anxious and the best way to handle that was silence. There was also the possibility that he just understood the importance of the mission and simply wanted to focus. Whatever it was didn't help the chosen child none. It only made him more anxious. Thoughts raced through his head one by one. What would happen if he failed this particular task?

There were two targets for this mission. here in Baska, they were pretty well known for one reason or another, but they didn't have any family. Za had no idea why these two specific people were chosen, other than the fact that they had specific elements. One had water elemental mana and the other had earth type mana. The idea was simple in his head. They would approach the two people, knock them out quickly and Eznalos the Mangler would carry them away. The plan was simple in Z'Aleel's head so he hoped it would not be more trouble than what it was worth because honestly, he could really give a hell about this new level of power everyone was talking about. As far as he was concerned his summons were the only things he needed to beat just about anyone. Sadly nobody else believed that this was the case.

The first person was a woman. She could be seen coming from the Boar hat Pub alone in the dead of night. There was nobody around her but the silence that bloomed in the area, but for her there was music all around. She had in headphones, blasting the tunes so loud that the unholy duo could hear them. Little did she know that she was about to become a victim and apart of a plan much bigger than she could have ever imagined. It was a great honor to be apart of the process towards the worlds end, but for her it would terrifying and perhaps even painful. Her sacrifice would not go unpaid. She would live on one way or another, just not in the way one would imagine. Such was the circle of life. The prey had their purpose and the Apex predators lived long, luxurious lives.

The child summoned Eznalos the Mangler beside him after biting his thumb. For a moment, he tried to feel anything other than excitement. The boy scrunched his phase as he forced himself to mimic what normal people did when they were sad, but nothing happened. This was the first time he had been coming terms with the fact that he wasn't emotionally wired the same. Why couldn't he care that she was a living, breathing being who had a life, goals, and dreams? Oddly enough, he wasn't even frustrated at the thought. If anything, he simmered it down to a gift. He was lucky that he didn't need to feel such humane emotions. They would only hold him back anyway. That was his conclusion as he ran up to the girl. The Mangler, silently came from behind her as Za asked her if she saw his mother. Death was upon her.

The woman was kind, and knelt down in what could only be assumed a sense of worry. She shook her head but agreed to help the boy. Suddenly a devilish smile stretched the Nimulli's lips and the woman slowly backed away. She must have felt another entity behind her because she turned quickly, only to be met with a bop on her head, knocking her out. Before she fell to the ground, the summon picked her up and threw her over his shoulder, disappearing into the shadows as Luci and Za moved onto their next target.  Walo wasn't too far away. In fact he was only a block over smoking a cigarette and making his way somewhere he probably should have been a long time ago. This was the earth mage Za had been informed of. He was handsome, but he looked...dumb. Like he only thought about women and their bodies.

Simple men were always the most loved for some reason. He probably was a dick too, but Za could sense that he was very popular with the ladies. As much as he wanted to indulge in darker ways to apprehend the man, he knew that time was limited. The devil he had spoken to clearly wanted to get this out of the way fast, so it would have to be done in a very boring manner. With a sight the child approached the man and did the same thing he had done to the woman. Walo was cool about it, until he saw that devilsh smirk. He too, turned around and was knocked out. Then, the trio left towards the Outskirts of Baska where Luci summoned the devil and gave him the bodies. Now, they were to meet in Dahlia. The Devil was right to believe that it was safer there, but Aleel was more nervous now than before.
