Slot: Relic.

Type: Stele.

Class: Mythic.

Quantity: Limited.

Element: Arcane.

Durability: -

Details

Description: A stone slab, taller than it is wide, erected in the ancient world as a monument. The surface of the stele often has text, ornamentation, or both. These may be inscribed, carved in relief, or painted. The top of this stele features an image in relief of Hammurabi with Shamash, a sun god, and god of justice. Below the relief are about 4,130 lines of cuneiform text: one fifth contains a prologue and epilogue in poetic style, while the remaining four-fifths contain what are generally called the laws. In the prologue, Hammurabi claims to have been granted his rule by the gods "to prevent the strong from oppressing the weak". The laws are casuistic, expressed as "if ... then" conditional sentences.

Lore: A code of laws created by the ancient King Hammurabi. One of the most famous phrases contained in the law is 'An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth'.

Spells

  • Name: Hammurabi's Code
    Rank: S
    Mana Cost: 1000
    Requirements: Hammurabi's Code
    Type: Supplementary
    Element: Arcane
    Range: -
    Cooldown: 14 Days
    Duration: Sustain (Max. 3 Posts)
Effect: The user summons the stele with Hammurabi's Code by saying the phrase: "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth." It appears as a 3-meter-tall stele behind the user. The stele is indestructible while it is being sustained. As long as Hammurabi's Code is sustained, it protects the user with its law and applies every attack against the user also to the attacker. Should the user receive a cut on their arm, the attacker will also receive the same cut on their arm. Should the user suffer from damage over time, the attacker will suffer the same damage over time. This does not affect damage suffered before Hammurabi's Code was summoned. It should be noted that Hammurabi's Code only affects direct damage applied to the user and not their equipment. If an attacker, for example, attacks the user directly on their torso, they also receive damage on their torso even if they are wearing armor. The stele disappears after it has been sustained for 3 posts or sooner if the user decides to cancel it. Hammurabi's Code cannot be used for 14 days after the last topic in which it was used has been left by the user.
