Cain, it’s been a pretty long time since Achlys has heard anything from Cain or people who work for Cain. She can’t even remember the last time she was hired by Cain to do some dirty job for him. Now, Achlys is back at Baska because Cain hired her to do a job for Cain again. She doesn’t really know the details of the job yet, but in the letter she received from someone working for Cain, this Job won’t be a trouble for her, like something that she did in the past. Those words make her wonder which job Cain will give her this time. It’s not like she only got one or two jobs from Cain in the past, so the list might be long enough and filled with more jobs that actually come from Cain. Now that she arrives at Baska, she needs to follow another guide that has been added to the letter.
The letter also said that she will have to meet Cain in person to get more details about the job, but referring to the statement that this is something she did in the past, that meeting might not take much time. During her arrival in Baska earlier, two men that work for Cain wait for her at the station. Achlys then asks one of them to guide Ban directly to the Inn where they will be staying, while the other one guides her to the meeting place with Cain. Now, Achlys is on her way to the meeting point where she will meet with Cain in person. Achlys is trying to remember if she ever met Cain somewhere else besides his place, but this seems to be the first time Cain asked her to meet outside his own place. It still bothers her which job that she will receive from Cain is time, she’s still trying to remember every job she can remember.
There is no information about the meeting point in the letter, it only said that someone will be at the station waiting for her and guide her to the place. But as she follows that guy, the area is starting to look more suspicious. But what can she expect from Cain, it’s not like Achlys is working with a saint or something. She keeps following that guy until they finally arrive at a building. It looks abandoned from the outside, just like how a building will look if it hasn't been used for anything for too long. But that is just how it looks from the outside, the inside of that building is totally different from the abandoned look of the outside part. They have to pass two men guarding the entry, and when the door is opened, Achlys is really shocked to see the inside part of that building.
The inside part of that building is totally different from the outside, the abandoned look from the outside was just a disguise. That abandoned look was only to hide the grand looking interior of that building. As she gets into that building, she can see Cain on the other side of the room, sitting on a chair, a pretty big one that almost looks like a throne. In her knowledge, it’s not like Cain’s style to pose like that. But Achlys just kept following the man, walking closer and closer to Cain. Cain suddenly greeted her with some excitement in his voice, it seems like Cain is actually in a good mood today. Cain explains to her about the quest for Achlys, turns out this time it is that quest where she has to pretend to be in a team with some people and betray them to catch the mage at the end. ”Guess I’ll get the chance to meet with Monmo again. Let’s take time to test my new power.” Said Achlys after Cain explained everything she needed to know.
Achlys leaves that place after that since Cain just told her that the meet up with four other team members will occur in a few minutes, they will be waiting for her right in front of the raid entrance. But Achlys being Achlys, she doesn’t really care if she is late or not, cause she knows how much power she actually has compared to the other members and she knows they won’t be brave enough to get into the raid without her. As she arrived at her destination, her theory was right. All four members are still waiting for her even though she was pretty late. They complain a bit to Achlys but being ignorant as always, Achlys just walk past them followed by Ban and enter the Raid entrance before everyone else. The other members panicked a little bit and quickly made their move to follow Achlys entering the Raid.
As they get inside, there is no trouble at all for Achlys to clear the area. Dealing with all those small threats are boring for Achlys, and that is not even enough for Achlys to warm up. After dealing with those threats, they suddenly teleported somewhere deeper into the tomb and they were all surprised when they were greeted by Monmo, except Achlys since she knew all the plan from the beginning. The presence of Monmo is overwhelming for the other four members, but they are still trying their best to fight. Since Achlys has to make it believable, she casts some deadly spell on Monmo in order to help the other members to fight. But their effort is nothing for Monmo, besides from Achlys spells, he doesn’t really take any damage and in one single move he is able to kill one of the four other members leaving Achlys with the mage and other two.
Those two members ask Achlys to make an opening so the mage can run away, they tell her the reason why that mage joined them to fight in this tomb. But Achlys doesn’t care about that and just follows the plan. She told Ban to guide that girl to run away while casting another spell on Monmo to get his attention. But right after that mage is out of sight, she attacks the other two members and kills them in an instant. Monmo smiles and greets her, it seems like he still remembers her and knows from the beginning the reason why Achlys is there. When Monmo asks her to get the mage, Ban walks into the area while dragging that mage. Achlys told Monmo not to worry since that mage is only unconscious for now, and explained she planned to send Ban with that mage earlier. Monmo is amazed by her work and gives her the payment from Cain.
