The city of Oakland was surprisingly enjoyable. During his stay here, Z'Aleel enjoyed the darkness and gloom that pervaded the place. It had a menacing, sinister aura. So much so that even the humans walked around in a state of apparent fear. There were dangers lurking in the shadows of Oak City. Aleel, although only a child, did not have a fear in the world. Even if these creatures were to target him for one reason or another, they would never succeed. He was simply far too powerful. His destiny had been sealed. According to him, at any rate. Although being chosen by the darkest of entities did not lend itself to boasting, the fallen angel took gratification in the thought of being embraced by the devils of Hell. The devils of hell would protect him forever, in essence. So, what would be the reason for his fear of the night?

The night was dark and full of terror, just as he preferred it. In the absence of his mother, Aleel was left on his own to survive. The situation couldn't be that difficult, he thought. It was especially true because he had fiendish friends who would serve him in whatever way he wished. Some time had passed since the Nephilim saw his mother, the one being in this wretched world he had actually loved. Moving along in a world that obviously did not want him here never got easier though. Still, he was learning at a rate faster than most children his age. He'd manage. With a paper crumpled in his hand, Za kept an eye out for one person in particular; Doctor Stephan Mubaz. There were many rumors regarding the doctor so Zael was excited to meet him. Apparently he needed help with one of his batshit crazy experiments.

There is nothing better than starting trouble and making money at the same time. This is the kind of work that is common in Oak city. Some of these jobs were even more sinister than the one Z'Aleel was currently doing. The thought made him wonder what Dahlia would be like. Oak city wasn't even the darkest of the cities in this country. As Zael's eyes flitted from side to side as he bounced from one side of the street to the other, he thought, "Hmmmm". Where was this man? He thought. After walking for about fifteen more minutes, he finally saw a strange looking man with glasses and a long white trench coat, standing against a wall in the darkest part of the sidewalk. There was no Doubt in the Nephilim's mind that this was the man he was looking for. Without wasting another moment he casually approached the scientist with a seemingly warm smile, lifting the paper and showing it to him

Dr. Stephan Mubaz glanced at the paper, then at the child, then back at the paper. For a split second there was silence. He was most likely wondering who the hell sent a kid. Nonetheless, he didn't ponder on it long. With a shrug he ushered Z'Aleel into the alleyway beside him. There, he revealed the details of the quest. It was a hunting quest, but not for any humans. Little did All of a sudden this quest just became the most boring thing he would do today. Hunting animals wasn't as fun as hunting humans, only because it was a bit harder to discern the fear in their faces. With a small pout Za turned away from the doctor. He would be back sooner than later, because now all that mattered was the money. This Lizard creature would be granted a quick and painless death, unless of course, Z'Aleel had a change of heart.

It wasn't rare for the little Nephilim to change his mind on something at the drop of a nickel. The boy strolled through the streets and made his way towards the forests, broad daylight, looking for the creature he was supposed to capture. "Did he say kill it? Or bring its head?" The Nimulli pondered. He couldn't quite remember the instructions. "Welp." He concluded. In that case Doctor Mubaz would just receive the creatures entire body. As Aleel stepped over twigs and branches, he sighed. About half an hour had gone by and he still hadn't found the lizard. Perhaps working wasn't for him, he couldn't take how boring it was any longer. In a few more minutes he was certain he'd just die of boredom, then the end of the world would never come. No... he couldn't give up- not yet at least. Not until every human was wiped off the face of this earth.

The only reason he was alive was to revive the devils and bring forth the end of the days. He was the beginning of the end, and the end of the beginning. He had a noble mission, one that would change the world as we know it. He was a hero, a true hero. With a sigh he pushed forward through the forests until he finally saw the lizard.."Sunbathing?" He nearly exploded in laughter as he watched the creature. It laid flat out on a rock with sunglasses on and a tanning glass on its chest. Honestly, Aleel was convinced it was just some normal lizard, obviously he was wrong. This Lizard was different and just like that the Nephilim was no longer bored. With a devilish smirk he hurried to approach the relaxing creature. It was surprised to see Za, but Za didn't waste any time. Quickly he reached out to grab the creature with both hands, strangling as laughter erupted. The creature flailed about but was unable to defend itself against such a brutally monstrous child. In a matter of seconds the creature was dead, neck snapped from the pressure against both sides of it. With an accomplished Grin, the Nephilim grabbed the Lizard and returned to the doctor before delivering its whole body to him. He said he needed the tail but he got much more. You're welcome.
