Spellsinger

The word spellsinger ordinarily puts folk in mind of those itinerant minstrels, fair of voice and nimble of finger, who earn their coin performing in taverns and the halls of great lords. In time, their impassioned songs came to hold sway over the hearts of men, inspiring their comrades to great feats and granting peace unto those who lay upon the precipice of death. Casting their spells in the heat of battle to fortify the spirits of their companions.

Spellsingers possess little to no prowess in actual combat themselves. They rely on their allies to complete the tasks while they support them with magical enhancements raising their morale. With certain tasks seeming to look impossible for an ordinary group to be completed, those with a spellsinger on their side seem to have more confidence for they have the knowledge that they can perform beyond their limits with the assistance of the spellsinger.

Spell Types

  • Superior: Other-Buff
  • Normal: Supplementary, Offensive, Defensive, Healing

Feats

Superior Other-Buff: Other-Buff-type spells buff double the amount of points compared to the numbers mentioned in the regulations.
Enhanced Spell Range: The range of Other-Buff-type spells are doubled.
Supporting Boon: Spellsingers receive one rank lower equivalent to the base rank of the other-buff spell when applied to an ally, this effect does not stack. This does not stack with the Superior Other-Buff feat.

Specializations

  • Prophet:  Those who are impacted by the users highest rank possible other-buff spell receive a minor physical resistance and a minor magic resistance of the spell’s element/s, this effect lasts as long as they sustain the spell on the ally.

  • Bard: Other-buff Spells of the user are now considered topic-wide allowing them to cast and sustain said spells upon their allies anywhere without spell range concerns.

  • Druid: Druids receive an evolved legendary custom companion which they may make in the husbandry section. This does not count towards their companion slot and may be converted into a Storyline Companion upon completing an Epic Storyline allowing them to obtain two Storyline Companions. Supporting Boon now applies to the user's companions as well.
