Kannon
Orchidia was a lively, but crowded city. Even the mere act of commerce was an impossibility in the ruined metropolis. Nonetheless, it didn’t deter Kannon’s growing affection for the place. Even as he packed to depart back to Baska he knew he’d miss the place. All Kannon needed to do was complete two more jobs before he’d take off. The first of these two quests would see him headed to a rather wealthy area of the city. It was within the heart of the city free of the foliage and overgrowth that burned its outer extremities. When he arrived, an older man worn down by age answered the door. He uttered the standard greetings expected of a servant before escorting Kannon to his master’s chambers. While impressed Kannon paid no mind to the room around him. Instead, he locked eyes with the master of the manor. The job was a simple one, the man wanted some giant rats wiped out. Kannon wasn’t an exterminator, but the idea of killing monstrous rodents was amusing. After accepting the job, he decided to start the quests the next morning. Kannon’s return to his temporary abode was short and took him from the wealthy district back to the commoner’s area.

Kannon
With the rising sun came a new day, once again Kannon had a job to take care of. He was excited to take on the next day as usual, but he was tired of the small jobs. Kannon longed for bigger rewards and greater challenges. Currently, the most he’d taken on were thugs and now giant rats. Not that he didn’t appreciate the slaughter, but simply put, he wanted money. There was much he could buy with more jewels and there was much he wanted. Until then he would just do as requested of him and be done with it. Whatever this task entailed he was more than ready to confront it head on and did so with gusto. But first Kannon opted to start the day with a balanced breakfast. For the time being he’d been staying at a local inn, which provided all the meals he needed. The food was rather basic, especially the breakfast, which consisted of eggs, toast, and bacon. It wasn’t a terrible meal, but it wasn’t great either. It was just enough to leave him full for the day. As part of his daily routine Kannon started a shower as soon as he finished eating.

Kannon
After a filling breakfast and a steamy shower Kannon left his apartment. A professional in all aspects of his life Kannon made it his business to always be on time. Even as he crossed paved roads and darted through dark alleys the wizard walked with purpose. Certain this job would begin and end like all of them did with him getting a little bit richer. Even though he’d only been in the city for a few days he knew the way to his target well enough. Of course, it wasn’t hard navigating when you had a map and a good sense of direction. His objective was an abandoned building that needed to be cleared out so his employer could use it. The old codger wanted to turn it into a drug den of sorts not that Kannon was against the idea. In fact, he really didn’t care what the man wanted to use it for. His descent into the building started uneventfully enough. At least it did until a horde of figures attacked him. The rats were fierce, but they were no match for the creatures he summoned. After a few more encounters along the same theme Kannon reached the a room where a large rodent stood. Instinct to him that the large monster was there leader. After a quick battle he killed the monster. Before he left he discovered a bag of cash the beast had been guarding. After pocketing the bag for himself Kannon took his leave.
