Disguised as Salazar "Sal" Worthington:

"Welcome, one and all, to the greatest puppet show in Fiore!", a grand and booming voice would shout from one of Oak's many streets in the middle of the day.

Sat in front of a cardboard box was a purple man of great heft, wearing an Elder Hunter's Coat and waving to all who would pass by, a wide grin across his features. Slowly but surely, a crowd would start forming near the man, 5 meters away from him and his cardboard box. They were curious what was happening, and if there was a show or attraction, what was it going to be?

Once a suitable amount of time had passed, good ol' Salazar - Sal for short - would lift up his cardboard box and pull out a few dozen sock puppets. He'd toss them to his side except for two; one of them which went on his left hand, and another on his right, smiling all the way. The one on his left hand was dressed like a princess, and the one on his right was a valiant knight.

"This is the story of a maaaa~gic kingdom, where love and dreams come true as easily as river waters flow! Ooooh~! Gets you all warm and happy, doesn't it? To live so freely as children caught in idyllic idealism, and indulge in the thought that life has such kind things waiting for them! Hoo hoo~!", Sal would start, pausing to let loose a hearty, high-pitched chuckle as if he were a clown at a circus. "And yet, what would happen if that story took a turn...? What value does a princess truly have, anyway? Is there some great destiny weighing heavy on her heart, or a powerful sacred incantation she must one day speak to bring about the world's great "Happily Ever After"? What say you, audience? For what reason does this princess live?"

At that, Sal would pause his show's introduction and look up at the audience. Their reactions were a mix of confusion, uncomfortable gestures and silence. Mostly silence, with various people waiting for somebody else to answer the man's question as if it were a class of students waiting for the teacher to just give them the answer. Nobody wanted to be 'wrong', but also, it seemed that many people also had no clue what the hell this man was talking about in the first place.

"Oh, do come on now, darlings. I know that at least a fraction of you have some kind of answer! You commoners, particularly. Come now. What is the duty of a princess in a kingdom where love is as free and abundant as breath?"

Sal sighed as he shifted in his seat, looking across an array of confused folks. His talent was not to be appreciated this day, and he figured as much. Rather than answer his own question, he began packing up his things. There was nothing else for it, at this point, was there? He'd had a day with a failed puppet show, and it wasn't fun anymore. Sal would mutter, "No class left in this world, I swear. No fun.", grumbling his miseries as he tossed things haphazardly into a dingy, bloody sack. He simply had to move on to greener pastures, because the folks in this town were a bore to him. What kind of respectable civilian couldn't even answer a question so simple? What garbage it all was.

Wordlessly, Sal gave the most theatric bow he could to his dissipating audience, a look of grim disappointment plastered across his features as he trudged away. His day was ruined by simpletons unable to understand art. He was absolutely, positively drained; and when one such as he was drained so fully, he needed to refuel. It was time to get back to cooking when he got this way. First he'd find a nice tavern to settle down in, talk to some folks, and get to work when he had his strength regained. As for what kinds of things he'd get up to once he found his energy again? Well... that's the kind of thing he simply can't say. Show, don't tell, after all.

All Mr. Worthington knew was that things needed to wake up around here, and he knew just how to do it. Food made everybody cheery, so he would no doubt be the one to make everybody absolutely beaming with joy in due time! He just needed a canvas with which to paint his art, a good drink to relieve his stress, and the most exquisite brush to get to work... indeed, Sal wouldn't be going hungry tonight.
