It was time for her to move on towards her future and away from the past. Packing up what little she owned, Hitomi said her silent farewells before leaving the City of Oak. She needed to move as Era was soon going to be her new home and from there she would grow even further in her new life. She didn't go off to become a Rune Knight for the royal family, no she did it because she needed the fame to make her own family proud and not ashamed of what had become of her. She was a victim but she no longer had to play one, Hitomi wasn't going to let the mistakes of her past shape her future, not when she had so much to live for and now with a whole family to get to know.

With some essentials packed away, she needed to make one more trip before she could truly strip herself of the past. She could feel her chest tighten when she left oak and made her way to Era. As a Rune Knight, she could visit prisoners without anyone questioning her motives, and the person she needed to visit would probably come with some questions no matter who she was.
