Home| For all the time she spent in Oak and for all the time she had to walk its streets and alleyways she had never once walked inside of Majura's Gallery. Hitomi couldn't even think of a reason why she hadn't until it became clear that because she didn't have a reason to go in she never went in. Taking a sip of the champagne that she was given by a staff member, she found herself staring at a picture of a man fishing in a boat with the sunrise on the horizon. The scenery in the picture was so beautiful and the colors blended well, she felt herself get lost in it as if she were really there. In truth she needed this, the past few weeks had come and gone so quickly she was honestly starting to break down. Just a few weeks ago she was Genevieve, a woman in love with a lich who she thought was a god. A demon prince that lived in her and controlled her and no family outside of the dark guild she found herself in thanks to that very same lich. She didn't know how truly oblivious she was but a reality check hit her hard enough to shake her into what was in front of her. If that wasn't enough her mother's side of the family found her and she learned of her true name and was given her true face, the face she was always meant to have grown up, they told her she was a mirror reflection of her mother. Yes, so much had gone on and this was her moment of peace, her moment of reflection of what she should do going forward, but for now, she could only get lost in this painting.

Entering the art Gallery, Shichiro was a bit irritated at the reason for being here in the first place. He had been coerced into coming here by his new companion that seems to have suddenly been attached to him. According to this creature, it had felt Shichiro was powerful and decided to be his guardian. It reminded him of this other black cat that he originally wanted but was unsuccessful in persuading it. This cat also was pretty strong and even had its own little sword which Shichiro had found kind of adorable so he let it tag along. Unfortunately, he's been letting iot control his whims and somehow ended up here at an art gallery instead of their looking for more criminals and bad guys. He wasn't sure why this thing had a sudden interest in the art gallery but because of some agreements earlier, here he was.
With his hands in his pockets, Shichro chaperoned the small creature until it was mostly satisfied. He wondered why people even come to a place like this just to watch bad drawings hung up on walls. Maybe his taste for art wasn't there but the bottom line was he found this a boring activity. Maybe when he was older, he'd figure it out but for now he just wanted to fulfill his end of the bargain and go home.

The picture she was staring at seemed to come alive before her but of course, her attention for it didn't last forever. Although she enjoyed the image for as long as she did she found that something else was calling her eye. Turning away from the painting she quickly bumped into another person, her drink spilling on him. I'm sorry. Oh here.. Quickly digging in her purse she pulled out a cloth and handed it to the man who looked oddly familiar to her. She couldn't put her finger on it but something about him reminded her of someone. I'm usually not this off-balance, but with all this free champagne, I might have gotten a little greedy. Her cheeks flushed pink, the kind of pink that clearly did no favors in hiding her embarrassment. Still, she couldn't get it out of her mind that she most definitely knew this man from somewhere.

As he led his companion through this art gallery, Shichiro found himself getting bored to the point where he was almost falling asleep standing up. He really couldn't understand why this thing likes art so much but once it was done and moving onto the next piece, he had stumbled into another art goer, face first and his shirt receiving a drink from whatever that person was holding at the time. It smelled to him like champagne but he wasn't too sure. The woman he had bumped into expressed remorse before attempting to pull out a piece of cloth in order to clean himself up with.
He wasn't sure if this would be adequate in cleaning the mess but he took it nonetheless. Taking the cloth, the woman had explained she wasn't normally this clumsy and blamed it on the champagne. Shichiro had simply responded with, "Know when to quiet if you can't handle to much of it," as he began to dap the cloth onto the wet parts of his shirt. His companion simply chuckled at the entirety of the situation, while all of these events had transpired. Eventually, Shichrio did the best he could when it came to tidying himself up but he was still mostly wet and now sticky.
Unsure if she wanted the cloth back or not, he handed it to her anyway while expressing thanks. "Here, I don't know if you want it back to wash or whatever but thanks for letting me use it as best as I could. Like a lightbulb going off in her head and illuminating the answer that she was scrounging around for. His voice matched him up perfectly, the fight, getting knocked out, she even remembered who was responsible for taking out Odin. The shock of the realization had her in a little bit of a daze as she stared the man down. She didn't even get his name that day and now that she thought about it. After she had gotten knocked out it was all a blur and she almost didn't think it was real because she never saw the man after that. Most of his words were going through one ear and out the other and she only moved as if her body was on autopilot when he handed her back the cloth that she handed him. Thank you.. I know you. I couldn't place your face before but that voice. It's like a punch in the face, which is funny because that's exactly what you did to me. You've been a real strong presence in my life, like a domino effect. You are the reason Odin is in jail...Actually, I've been wondering what happened after you knocked me out that day. My face is different to you now, but before I had reddish hair, a smart mouth, and a real weak armbar. Laughing at that last comment she tried her best to explain who she was and what happened that day.

With his arm still that still held the cloth outstretched towards to woman, he had struggled to get her to take it back without pushing her into it. He simply shrugged and just retracted his hand for the time being while the woman started to give him a peculiar. He wondered what this lady was doing but he couldn't quite figure it out. It wasn't until the woman explained herself that it clicked in Shichiro's head on the previous events. This was the woman who had attacked him in the outskirts of Oak the other day. She looks completely different from how he last saw her. It was quite a surprise. He knew there was special potions and face sculptors that could change facial features and the like with ease.
"Oh, you're that psycho lady from the other day that attacked me after you asked me for help. What was up with that? Anyway, yeah. That sort of happens when you're attacked out of the blue, people get hit, more than a few times. Anyway, you change your face because you on the run now or something? I don't think you're wanted or anything, just yet but it seems you did make a confession to being part of a dark organization, maybe we should talk more about this down at Era headquarters, eh? It already seems to me that you've been thinking about me quite a bit," Shichiro had said with a snicker towards the end. He was quite surrpised somebody who went through the trouble of disguising themselves would out themselves immediately as if they were old friends or something.

It wasn't until he was shoving it in her hand that she clicked too and took the cloth, placing it in her purse. His words put her again in shock, of course, she didn't mean to but she in fact did tell on herself. How stupid could she have been? Well in this case mixed with her champagne brain she was in fact very stupid. The more he spoke the more embarrassed she got, he was taking her words completely out of context! Shifting her weight a bit so she was standing with one hip jutting out. By this time she had finished the rest of her drink and was handing it off to one of the men walking around with a tray of the same drinks. Let's get some things straight. I am not a " Psycho Lady ". I did what I had to do at the time for a guild I was a part of at the time. I am no longer a part of that guild. Next, I am not on the run, if what I did to you was so bad I would have woken up in jail and not in an inn. Due to a story too long to tell my face was changed, it is what my family calls my " true face " the one I was always supposed to have. The more she spoke the redder she got in the face. She didn't know if she was upset that she had to explain herself or that the next comment that she had to address was too embarrassing and any wrong word could be misconstrued. Taking a deep breath to calm herself down from the clear tangent she was on, the violet-haired woman set her eyes directly into the man in front of her. I haven't been thinking about you in the way it sounds like you think I have. Because of you, a good chunk of my life has changed...Though maybe that was for the best anyway. In fact, I should probably be thanking you. After that incident and what I heard happened to Odin by your hand, it gave me some time to think about my own future and what the world around me is really about. I was never with Odin and his guild by choice but out of necessity and out of that necessity grew something else entirely, I won't call myself a victim but perhaps had my situation regarding Odin and where I was with him didn't go the way it did, I wouldn't be here talking to you now. She was upset, her voice didn't waver but it was clear to someone who had any sympathy that there was more to the story than what it looked like from the outside. Having to lay all her cards out on the table like this for the second time was very tiring. She didn't want to keep talking about it but she knew that she had to get this out now, she wasn't the same person that he met, things changed very drastically and she wanted to move forward. With her new family backing her she was still learning about the world, but she had to gain some sort of footing in Fiore. Having been in Eternal Nightmare and only now denouncing it, she needed to find somewhere she could fit in and grow her family name. She wasn't evil. She wasn't bad. She was confused, and out of that confusion came a very different view from the people who saw who she was attached to.

With the psycho lady finally taking her cloth back, he watched her put it back into her purse before they had continued their conversation. It had taken Shichiro a second to grasp all of the information he was being given while his furry companion just looked onwards at both of them, not knowing the history between the two. After he had blurted out his retort, it seems she didn't take too kindly to what was said as she had gone on her tangent about not being a psycho lady. Shichiro wasn't sure as even he didn't attack people for no reason or without informing them of why they were being attacked at that moment in time.
Admittedly, he was very amused at all of the things that were coming out of her mouth at this point in time. So she was a member of the dark guild by the name of eternal nightmare as well as the wizard lord being her guild. She claimed she wasn't on the run but she did go through the process of changing her entire face and what not. Well, whatever. It's not like Shichiro preemptively went after people who haven't done anything wrong yet only for people who were already wanted for doing something wrong.
For now, he'd see where all of this would lead to as he continued to listen to the woman rant and rave about how her life changed after putting away the leader of the Eternal Nightmare guild, at least for a little while. She now claimed she wasn't thinking of him like that which he already knew but couldn't help but tease her after it was only one interaction and a bad one at that. Followed by what seems like her life story. He never understood people who did things out of necessity instead of doing what they wanted. She was clearly upset but Shichiro wouldn't tease her anymore, at least, not intentionally.

Gonna turn over a new leaf and stop associating with illegal organizations or what? You seem to have gone through all the trouble to change yourself so I suggest you choose a new path in life like joining up with the Knights or something, they'll set you straight. It doesn't seem like you've done any major shenanigans, as far as I could tell anyway," Shichiro had said nonchalantly.

She needed to start on a new path, one that wouldn't keep her in the shadows anymore and one that would bring some sort of honor to her family, another thing she was learning about. Joining the Rune Knights would be a complete full one-eighty. Almost feels like I'd be betraying what I've known for so long. Yes, I think I would like to join the Rune Knights. Oh, I guess since we are so far into this conversation my name is Gene-... Hitomi. Hitomi Minamoto. Sorry about that, still getting used to the name my family said I was always supposed to have. Really a lot has happened since our fight you know, but I never got your name. She remembered their fight enough to know that the man was standing in front of her was in fact a Rune Knight member himself. She didn't know his ranking in the organization but she knew he could have very well thrown her in jail for attacking him the way she did. She hopped all was forgiven on that end but she wouldn't bring it up too much.

Continuing to snicker, Shichiro was clutching his sides like a small child teasing another. He had heard her begin to protest at first until he realized she was actually considering his proposal. His snickering came to a halt as she agreed to join the rune knights as to which he just stared blankly at her as she continued to talk. According to her, her name was Hitomi Minamoto and she was an ex-Eternal Nightmare member. As soon as she was done introducing herself, she inquired about his own name. Stunned, he blinked a few times, wondering how he would get out of this as he was primarily joking about joining the knights, expecting to receive some resistance.
Fixing himself, he decided to go with the flow and respond with, "Oh, I was joking about joining the rune knights but if you really want to, then I guess I could help you out with that. Gotta say, I never thought I'd beat somebody into joining the knights though. It's kind of impressive. Anyway, enough of that. So you're Hitomi, well, my name is Shichiro Uchida, Captain Commander of the Knights, I guess. But I assume you already know that considering what I did to Oak."

She couldn't even retort on some of his remarks due to the sheer shock. She didn't know that he was the one that ordered the lockdown all she knew that there was a lockdown, she didn't recall him stating he caused it. Of course, this meant that Odin was going up against someone formidable and his defeat was no easy task. How she even held out as long against someone like him, she should have been proud but she didn't really know what to feel. Well I suppose I should be calling you Captain-Commander Shichiro now. It'll be nice to learn all the ways you beat me again. You'll train me now, won't you? Her voice dipped into a seductive but playful tone at her last sentence. Remnants of Asmodeus's magic still lingering in her but mostly she got a hit of dopamine when she remembered how he felt on top of her, regardless of how violent he was being, she thinks she might have liked that. Smiling a bit she shook her head and placed her hand on her pink cheeks that were turning red. I'm sorry, I was thinking of something inappropriate. I guess I should be heading to Era to make this thing official. Unless you can just expedite the process here and now? If not I'll be on my way to do that. Actually regardless if you can do it here or not I'll be leaving no matter your answer. Of course, if you can do it here I'll wait until after you were done. -exit-

Scratching the back of his neck, Shichiro wasn't sure what to make of this situation. He hadn't really known this woman too well other than being haphazardly attacked on the outskirts. Well, whatever floats her boat, he assumed. Continuing to scratch the back of his neck, he replied with, "Yeah, sure. If that's what you wish. Welcome to the Knights. Try not to cause any trouble for us, mainly me, since I'm the one recommending you to join," he said, a bit irritated. She had then apologized for her inappropriate thoughts which just made him roll his eyes. She had then continued to ask about joining the knights, whether he could do it himself or had to travel to Era in order to join.
Shichiro had said he could do it himself but it would be a lot easier and a faster process to just go to Era and register. On that note, the woman had left him and his companion. Letting out a sigh of relief, Shichiro was a bit glad she was gone. Now he could get back on with entertaining his companion for whatever reason they were here. Overall he wished he had stayed in bed today. He'd finish the tour in the art gallery before exiting and carrying on with his usual business.
