Kurisa sat in a one-sided booth where they faced the bartender on the other side. It was easier to get drinks that way. The people were gathered with their significant other or their group of friends. She felt unsure about this, but it was better to do it now than later. He did agree to it remember? Her long white-blonde hair was wavy, right eye covered by her medium length bangs. She wore a satin, thigh-high gown that was black with pink frills in the slit that revealed her left thigh. Her skin shined with the bright light that towered over her as she leaned against the glazed wooden table. Her purple eyes wandered to see if he was here yet, but no vision on him just yet.

Her fingers fiddled under the table as she nervously waited. It has been a while since she even sat down with someone one on one without it being about business. Kurisa hesitated to order her drink before he arrived, but just gazed at the menu instead. Questions kept popping up in her head, that large imagination of hers causing problems to herself. Her thoughts made things worse. Her guild still hasn't arrived beside the same couple of people who have been here. When will they appear and when will the Guild of men contact them again for some agreement? There was business all over the place.

Not so far away from her she could hear some couple giggle and cuddle up while drinking their toxins. The man's hands were all over her. Was he just some date or were they actually together? It was odd, she felt something from watching them, but unsure what. Was it jealousy or just the fact she wanted to feel something.

Hosenka in the flesh. It had been a long time coming. Now that his business in Marigold had concluded, it was time to reap his rewards here. Last time in they city, he thought projected to the casino and met Kurisa, an angel acquaintance of his. They managed to work over the owners real good so now he was checking back in to the casino. A little demonic presence would let them know who was really in charge. That would have to wait another day though. For now he had to fulfill the promise he made with her to meet her out for a drink.

Caius kicked open the bar door causing it to swing open and slam into the door stop making his presence known. He was dressed in a black leather jacket with a white undershirt and a gold chain hanging down his neck. Underneath , he had blue jeans and dark brown boots. "Bartender just destroy me please. Just give me a bottle of the hardest you got." Caius said walking to the counter. He slipped some jewels on the table and yoinked the booze straight out of the mans hands. He then scanned the area to see Kurisa sitting all by her lonesome. Moving over to her he slammed the bottle on the table. "Looking for me huh? I told you I would get you a drink. I always keep my promises." That was a straight up lie but it sounded like a cool thing to say at the time. Caius sat down at the seat across from her. "Don't worry it's really me this time. Notice how I didn't phase through the chair. Anyways what's up with you."

Her eyes watched as she could hear a familiar voice. He was asking for a bottle of booze as if he was going to have a hard night. Her eyebrow lifted, questioning rather or not being around her was that difficult. It was her train of thought as she felt perhaps insecure. Could you blame her? Her luck was shit. As he got close enough for her to gaze upon him she gave a sweet smile as she was glad that he at least showed up. "Always, huh?" she teased as people never kept their promises 'always'. She wanted to believe it, but for now, she was going to try to be positive.

"I was looking for you. Wasn't sure if you were going to show up." Her fingers started to play with the ends of her hair. Her one eye that can be seen gazed into his as if she was searching for answers to her own questions in her head. A small giggle escaped her glossed bow-shaped lips. It was as if he was making a joke due to the fact that he has always been his projection when she sees him.

She leaned forward letting her arms rest against the table with her eyes looking up into his. "I'm glad you came. I wanted to, well, I know this sounds super casual and to some - lame, but I wanted to get to know you." She thought for a second with her eyes gazing away, blushing. "I get that you do some dark stuff, but I feel like there's more to you." She looked back at him. "I wish to know you, over drinks of course. The best way in my opinion." She sat up and leaned back with her arms against her chest. She crossed her legs and wondered what he was thinking. Will this irritate him to the point where he'll run out of patience? Her heart was beating fast as she felt nervous, but her expression kept it sweet and calm.

"Get to know me huh?" It wasn't a question many asked him. He tended to keep most stuff to himself for obvious reasons. Everything he did was illegal and most people frowned upon that. Caius used his thumb to pop the cap off the bottle of whiskey he had in his hands. He brought it to his mouth to take a swig out of it. He put the bottle on the empty part of the booth seat next to him to keep it close by. It felt like one of those meetings where he was going to need it.

Raising his finger up in the air as to tell Kuri to pause, he reached into his leather jacket front pocket. "Before I forget." He pulled out a stack of bills that was tied in a clip. It was 250k jewels in total. He tossed it over to Kurisa. "A cut for the help before." She had to do some of the dirty work when he was here as a thought projection. She was good bait so he wanted to reward her for her efforts. It wasn't much compared to what he got but it was the thought that counts right?

Back to her question, Caius just shook his head at her. "So you just want to get to know me huh? And here I thought you just wanted to bang. Fine play psychologist and ask away. I'll answer any question you got. " He owed her that much.

The guy was pretty funny, huh? It was like he wasn't taking her seriously. That or he was possibly just not interested. The third option was that he was playing hard to get, he was hard to change even a little bit. He was a true businessman for sure as he slid the jewels to her. "Thanks, one second." She wanted to use them for alcohol. Her head tilted to the side to look past Caius real quick and waved. "Hey, gimme a bottle. One-fourth of each of the horsemen." She ordered. This was going to be an interesting night and honestly, she was nine hundred percent taking a break tonight and tomorrow. Her body motioned back to have her shining eyes reflect Caius's reflection, gazing at him deeply as she waited for her drink. Her eyes switched back to the bottle that landed on their table and grabbed it. Quickly, she gave them the jewels and nodded to them.

Turning away, she was able to now take a drink. She could taste all the whiskeys and the one tequila. She wondered how she was going to answer his last assumption. "Oh please, the closest base you'd get is base 2. That's maybe."Her eyes looked more at him and giggled sweetly, "You're super cute, handsome even, but I don't even know you enough." She wondered how to word it. "I need to feel some sort of... attachment?" Yea, that was some bullshit some have never heard. It was true though, but the thing he and herself did not understand or know is that she was already feeling something. What a problem she is getting herself into.

Her first question? "So, other than you know, what I helped you with a couple of times. What else do you do? Being dark and evil can't be all you are." She leaned over with her chest against her arms that rested against the table. Every so often she grabbed her bottle and gazed at him at the same time, taking her drink. Once she put it back down she wondered what else to ask him. Maybe he wanted to ask her questions? She wondered if he was even interested in knowing her like that. With all the slaves and stuff, he probably isn't.

"If you want to ask anything after one of mine, you're free to ask.~" She teased yet was also serious. The music around them was kind of trash, but relaxing at the same time. Kurisa had to drink, she felt more relaxed and calm that way. If she went about and barked, got all blushy it will make her look weak. That's how she felt about it. She was somewhat glad he didn't sit by her, plus she got to look at him as they spoke and drank. Was this alright? She felt anxious inside, but kept clam on the outside.

2nd base? Did this woman not see his perfectly groomed goatee and his chiseled jawline? Caius was a golden god. It was fine though. That gave him a challenge if he so desired it. For now he would play nice and answer the questions that she would ask though she might not like some of the ansers. He had a few he wanted to ask her himself from their previous encounters based on her magic and race. She got herself a drink from the bartender and the questionnaire was on.

The first question she asked was about his personal life. She saw all the illegal and evil shit that he did and thought that there was going to be more to him than that. Unfortunately for her, there wasn't much else too it. "No you pretty much hit the nail on the head. I do some guild work here and there but other than that it's building my crime empire. I'm a demon we kind of get off on fucking around with humans. It's kind of a passion project of mine." Caius took another swig of his bottle before asking her a question. "Alright so that's one question answered. Now my turn. So what was that magic you used last time we met. That weird light looking magic where the guy's attack went through you" Light magic was a weakness of his so he wanted to get the details ASAP.

She was taking another drink after she answered that. His response was priceless, but the answer she got to her question was indeed non-satisfying. Was he only dark and evil? There was no good in him? She wanted to frown, but the alcohol was settling in. Her cheeks started to turn pink with every drink she took. Her purple icy eyes were becoming shinier with the lights reflecting in them like the moon and water. He wondered about the spell or magic that let that sword go through her one time. She could lie like he might towards her, or tell the truth.

Chuckling softly, she smirked and lowered her gaze to look at her bottle. "It's a magic I was gifted with by some magical being. Water and light. Anything physical will go through my body if I choose to." She knows that he was a daemon and light was not their favorite to be around. "I wouldn't worry too much on it. Not like we'll be fighting each other anytime soon anyway, right?" She gave a soft laugh and took another drink, eyes cornered to look at him. He was definitely cute, but if she gave in then that'd be the end of it. Either by rejection or a man's favorite game of hit and miss. Men didn't want to settle, no matter how much she wanted one too. For now this was all fun and games, wasn't it?

She thought of her next question, "What made you want to do what you do? Like, you could do legal selling. Contracts for cheap, low-income laborers and the such. Do you just randomly find and grab?" She was trying to understand how he did things and will she have to worry about her becoming a target. Was he just a cold hard-killer or was there at least room for a soft spot? She possibly will never find out or maybe will find out someday soon. Rather the answer will be disappointing or not, he seemed chill to rant to with a drink.

So it was water and light combined. Now that he thought about it, the spell that she used did look like sunlight reflecting on the water when she was struck by the blade. It seemed like what she said was the truth. Though they could use other magic elements, it always seemed like nephilims and demons favored the light and dark respectively. She joked about them fighting to which he laughed with her. "Hell no I don't want to fight. Have you ever burned yourself and get that lingering pain for a day? That's what light is like for me."That was the truth. Fighting light mages was a pain in the ass with his disadvantages. It was better just to retreat or negotiate around them. He would try to keep on Kuri's good side. Key word try.

It was her turn now. It was another morality question about what he did. Did she not realize he was a demon? Evil was his middle name. The suggestion she made was to turn a new leaf and do legal selling. Caius almost spit out his drink at that remark. If she wanted the whole story he would give it to her. "Well it started when I was found by this guild Red Hades. Couldn't remember a damn thing thing when they found me. They taught me the ins and outs of crime. After a few jobs, the rush from all the power and money was indescribable " Caius took a deep breath thinking back on the good old days. He was getting a mini high just thinking about it. "With a legal job I can't have that. You have to follow rules set by someone. Now that I'm my own boss I can make my own. If that comes at the expense of others so be it. As long as number 1 is happy that's all that matters" Caius pointed both of his thumbs at himself to emphasize.

Caius started to see what she was getting at. He swirled the liquor in the bottle around when eyeing her suspiciously. "Why do you want me to get a legal job Kurisa? Are you one of those girls who see's a bad guy and thinks that you can save them?"

She was glad he didn't take it so seriously. Some people took those things seriously and got all pissy, throwing their drinks across the room and making a scene. His cool demeanor was nice and was glad he had a sense of humor. Her fingers brushed through her long wavy hair and tossed it to the side while her one eye gazed at him, the other still covered by her curved bangs. She didn't want to tell him about her weakness towards nature, the one thing she loved as a girl. When she did any gardening, she had to have someone else do it for her. It burned her, literally.

Apparently he was from Red Hades... Red hades, where did she remember that from? It took a second to finally realize. "Are you talking about the guild that had Zade?" Her eyes looked at him seriously for a second. She remembered fighting him and one other man in the far past. "You wouldn't happen to be the guy who got melted by a beam of light -- would ya? From that one war?~" She questioned, trying not to laugh.

Next, it was his turn to question, he wondered if she was trying to 'turn' him good, saving him and all that Jazz. She lifted up her hands, one with a bottle in it as she spread them out. "Oh no! You caught me.~ What will you do now?" She teased with a smile, gazing into his dark eyes. Suddenly, she leaned back and looked away. "No, but is it wrong to think everyone can have a soft spot? Rather it's for kittens, children or maybe a person?." She thought for a second. "Maybe not right now, but maybe some other day you'll find something that you want to protect. Cherish even to the point you'd destroy the whole world for -- besides your business of course.~" She laughed and took a drink.

This man sure loved his money. Nothing wrong with that since she was loaded, but she didn't sell people like that. She had her own company to sell off people who wanted to work. She got paid with ever one. Then she had her missions of helping people, loaning money, and her clothing business. "Look, Caius... I may be just like an angel but doesn't mean I always go for the purer things in life. Chaos is quite fun, but depends on how I do it.~"  . It was his turn to answer now. Was he that guy? She remembered seeing blurs of the guy, but not full details.

Zade? The name didn't ring a bell. Besides his initial training, he didn't meet many in Red Hades. In its later years it felt like he was the only person in the guild. She also brought up a war which made him raise his eyebrow. Apparently their was a beam of light that struck some scrubs. He assumed it was hers by the way she was laughing. The truth was it was him back when he was in Grimoire Heart assaulting Era. But since his memory was wiped clean he didn't remember any of it. "Sorry don't know any guy named Zade. It must have been someone else. I tend to stay out of big confrontations like that at all possible."

To answer his question, he realized that he had hit the
nail on the head. Turning him was exactly what she was trying to do. She wanted to know his soft spots. The problem was he really didn't have any besides maybe his organization which she brought up before he could say anything. Caius raised his brown eyes high and stroked his goatee as he thought about it. "Let's see I like the sound of bones cracking, the sweet feeling when someone finally breaks and tells you everything, blowing stuff up." It really was the truth. Ever since the memory wipe from Crowley's magic that was all he ever knew. he could tell by the look on her face she wanted something more tame. He snuck in " I guess dogs are alright too."

She went on to mention that even though she was an angel she didn't live up to the stereotype that they had to be good. He assumed she was implying he could be a demon and didn't always have to be bad. That was the problem though.. "Listen Kurisa. That's cool you like to cause chaos as an angel. I support you 100%. Go let loose. I however like living up to my demon nature and being an asshole. It's just who I am. Being "good" is just not rewarding enough for me."

He didn't remember Zade nor about the war. It didn't matter now since it was long into the past, but she just wanted to make sure it was no harm done. The man only seemed to like causing pain and dogs. She genuinely giggled at the dog part since it was very cute. She kept on a smile while gazing between her bottle and Caius. Inside she felt saddened with each answer he gave. It was supposed to be like this though. Everything fought against her sins and maybe her punishment was for her to never gain it. This man was a daemon/demon and wanted to fully act on it as he found enjoyment with it.

The alcohol was numbing her emotions so she could be calm and smile. Her lilac orbs gazed into his after another drink and wondered, "It's obvious where you stand. So, what do you have planned after this, Caius?". She shifted her legs to rest on the booth on her side while leaning back. Her head turned to make sure they still had eye contact. Kuri bit her lower lip as she felt unsure about somethings in her mind, but she'll just work with how things were for now. For someone all about business, maybe he had some stories, some plans even as she was just up for relaxing. "Have any real goals?" She lastly didn't remember if she asked this, so questions and listening to him was good enough for her. Even if nothing will come out of this or so she thought.

Real goals? She knew about his whole business operation. Caius just shook at his head at the question and signed as he prepared to reiterate his stance. "My goal is the same as it's always been. Set up shop in each major town and then reap those juicy rewards. Once I get enough money I can retire and live the good life. Although I might go back for all the fun. It's a passion of mine after all.  I'd say that's a pretty damn ambitious goal wouldn't you say? " Caius raised his hand up high to make a point. "You see my goals are up here. Most people have no fucking idea what to do with their life and are all the way down here with small goals" Caius lowered his hand to match his speech.

Kurisa was giving out sort of a superiority vibe with the last question that rubbed him the wrong way. She also broke what they agreed to ask one question a piece each. The liquor was probably taking affect. Speaking of that, he took a swig of the bottle of whiskey and slammed it down. Since he was a demon he had a higher tolerance and wanted to catch up. Then he asked his question. "Since you seem to be the expert what do you have planned? What is your "real goal"? Join a guild? Start a family? Lay it on me." Being a powerful mage she had to have something big planned. At least that's what he hoped.

Her gaze watched Caius's reactions to make sure he wasn't going to try anything bad as in for some reason, attack. The liquor was really starting to hit her. Her new body wasn't used to the alcohol like her last one was. His goal seems to be on pinpoint as he wanted to build his empire within the business of selling people. How long will that last though? She was not here to crush dreams but to perhaps enjoy knowing what other people wanted to do with their lives. Her dreams, her goals... it's a curse. Kurisa was like a broken record each time she died and for once she'd like to repair it.

It doesn't seem like that will be happening.

Her body reacted to him slamming his bottle down, body jumping a little as she somewhat spaced off, listening to all his words, but wasn't paying attention to his actions. He could've anything else and she wouldn't have noticed. Her eyes continued to gaze at him as she thought about his words. He took her words in a rather negative motion, but she did not mean it. She sat up and scooted out of her chair while talking. "That question had no ill intentions. I was just curious if you had other goals other than your Empire of Greed; money, selling until you somehow just stop. Being rich is a great goal and all, but I feel like there should be more to it. My unpopular opinion." She motioned herself to stand behind him. "You seem rather... tense." she was speaking about him slamming his bottle against the table. Her soft hands rested on his shoulders, slowly massaging them. People were giving them looks, but she didn't care.

"I hope you don't mind.~ I can stop if you want." She softly spoke and smiled sweetly. "Now for my goals? They're not much. Pretty practical. A family, immortality, riches, and becoming powerful. Pretty normal, huh?~ As you know, I don't like nobles and I don't like the Gods. Hopefully, someone overthrows them too. Are those goals bad in your opinion?" She giggled, but behind that giggle, she frowned cause her luck was just shit. She had a list of goals to start on.

Kurisa didn't answer his question right away. Before that, she would stand up out of her seat. He didn't know if he said something that might have touched a nerve and made her want to leave. Women were complicated beings in that regard. Instead it was quite the opposite. She started to give him a shoulder massage with her soft hands stating he was too tense. In reality, he was more tense she was touching him. Normally he would let girls do it all the time but they were powerful mages like her. However, those thoughts were washed away by her goddess like rubs. "No keep it up. You got the kink in my neck. And feel free to go lower." He figured since they worked together it would be alright. His relaxed and slumped down in his chair.

The reaction to his answer was that there was more to it than just the money. The list she gave was even more ambitious than his. It started small with just money and family, then it escalated to immortality and power, and lastly it was defying the gods itself. Caius couldn't help but cackle at her list. "Kurisa those goals are fine but god damn you need to get your shit together. Let me help you narrow it down." Caius raised his finger so his index finger was up representing one. "Pick one goal at a time and focus on that. For me, It's my empire. You are already a powerful mage from what I can tell when I got hit by your aura last time. Check that off the list. So what would you want the most out of what's left ? "

She smiled as he slowly started to relax with her fingers massaging his shoulders. She listened to him talk and finish talking, but while he was speaking she continued on her massaging. She traced slowly down his spine as her hands went into his shirt. Her thumbs were doing a circular pattern up and down the side of his spine but only could get maybe one-third of his back due to his shirt. When she felt muscle knots, she massaged around them and used her fingertips to slowly rub them out. Her fingers slowly went back up to the shoulders letting them drag from the back and then shoulders to the neck.

After listening to him carefully she spoke with her eyes looking away, blushing at the thought. "W-well, I don't think I'm that powerful, but thank you. Now for what I want the most? We-well..." She gulped as her eyes paid attention to where she was massaging softly yet a little rough in the thumbs since his skin was thick and he was muscular meaning he needed more pressure than most. "I suppose I want a lover, someone to go to when I need them and vice versa. Someone to call mine." The last part sounded possessive, but she had to be honest. They weren't' lying to each other as far as she knew. "Sounds ridiculous, huh?" She giggled with a faint smile. She continued to massage his neck, but slowly went back to his shoulders and to his muscular arm. She kept overthinking, anxious that this wasn't feeling good, but she could at least be hopeful that he actually was. After a little bit, she stopped and moved back to go back to her seat. She could feel that soon enough they will run out of interest and questions, not many more cards to play. "Question, could you see an angel as a friend or would that be too much for a daemon?" She gave a smile and took one last drink.

Oh cold! A shiver went down his spine as the hand slip inside of his shirt. Damn she was taking this massage to the next level. Was it about to happen in the middle of the bar? He didn't really mind really. For now, he enjoyed himself and let whatever happen, happen. Kurisa continued and answered his question.. Out of all the things she wanted the one that took priority would be a lover.  It was a simple enough goal that she could obtain with ease. I mean just look her. She was a straight 10/10. However, Caius knew that having a lover cut both ways. .

"Lover huh? I don't find it too ridiculous. Some people find their one and only, spit out babies, and are happy for the rest of their life. Majority of time though I see it end in heartbreak. Where it be another lover stealing them, break up over money, or maybe even me capturing them and selling them. It doesn't seem to last. Another thing is it might be rough with our lifespans. We tend to outlive humans. My personal opinion is just take love as you can get it and focus on you."

The massaged ended much to Caius displeasure as she headed back to her seat. It was starting to get late as the bartender started to signal for last call. Both of their bottles were almost empty so it would almost be time to head out. Kurisa turned it back on him and asked her question. "Angel's and Demons as friends huh? I guess if they are cool like you I don't see why not. The high and mighty angels in the books are the ones that are getting shot." Caius lifted up his finger and had it glow purple to show off his magic. Caius picked up his bottle and walked over to Kurisa. He placed his hand on her bare shoulder "But if you want to be more than friends for tonight I got a hotel close by." Caius offered what he preached earlier.

Kurisa listened to him answer her question as they were drinking the last bit of their bottle. The place was closing down as she saw some waitresses clean the tables, the bartender closing the cases and people leaving. It seemed that Caius noticed as well as their talk was cutting short, or was it? He didn't find her love conquest ridiculous at all, but nonetheless she should take love where she could get it and think about herself.

That was the thing though...

All she could think about was someone who wanted only her. It was lust, desire - something like that. Some could even call it crazy, but at the same time Kurisa wasn't into going super fast into something. If she thought one was too evil or too good, it would end up being a problem. Her eyes watched him move up and walked to her. Her drunken face turned red as his hand grasped onto her shoulder softly. He offered for her to stay at his hotel as more than just a friend. Was it what she thought? Softly, she chuckled and grasped onto the hand that was on her shoulder and stood up herself. While face to face she put her right hand against his cheek and slowly approached with a passionate soft kiss.

Rather it was because of all the alcohol she drank or the conversation leading to the kiss, she did it. As she leaned back her eyes opened to look at his, smiling "First base only, big guy.~" She whispered alluringly towards him as they were inches apart. "But I appreciate the offer.".
