Kurisa was stuck on the island and she already searched for the things she could at the moment. She remembered the faces she has seen and the faces that met their doom. When was it her turn though? Was it soon? Her lovely lilac eyes with crescent purple moons at the bottom gazed at the beach that she first laid upon when she arrived. Now that she was really thinking about it, some of the faces were rather recognizable like; Noel, Kaiser, Jin - may his soul rest, Masami and a few others, but their names she could not really think of at the moment. As usual on this mysterious island, she wore a white shirt that she tore into a crop top and shorts that were rather blue jean-shorts.

With a handful of recently picked fruits, he simply walked up to the nearest person, which was the fairy-looking woman he met from before... somewhere? He couldn't quite remember, but his palms were filled with blue berries which Masami knew enough, not poisonous daphne berries, but edible, safe-to-eat berries. "Hand." he was planning to give one to everyone, there are more of where those came from. He held the palms out in front of the woman and simply uttered a single word without saying anything else. Apparently, and normally, he was scarred because of the previous experiences. Will they end up dying? But Masami doesn't want to die yet. Dying is sad, and he won't remember anything. "They're safe!" he added just to convince her to take at least one, perhaps force her if she denies.

She smiled happily as she saw him come out, the boy who was going through an unnatural phenomenon with his mother as she was going through what seemed to be a curse. The curse was making her ill so it was not a curse like her own. If she was ill now, she did not have much time left. Slowly, she took a berry - at least one to satisfy the boy as he offered one. "Alright, good to see you too." She made a motherly soft smile as she held onto the berry into her clutches. She wondered how he was doing, with seeing people die like the way they did... It can take a toll on someone when it's the first time. "How are you doing?". Her eyes lowered to meet his as she stood tall.

He didn't expect being asked, because everyone has been silent this whole time that speaking felt kind of... illegal? Was that it? Masami didn't even want to answer in the first place, assuming that the woman... no, her name was Kurisa, and Masami remembered just now! He would've become enthusiastic but everything was depressing enough to even exaggerate emotions. The boy smiled instead, tilting his head a little as he tried hiding the fact that he wasn't alright. "Hmm, the berries are making the day lovely." this wasn't a lie, however, these were truly good berries. But then he felt stiff, standing still and being overly-cautious. "You?" he asked right after, being completely aware about how awkward it is. Will it be the same, 'hello, how are you, goodbye'? Masami hoped not.

She looked at the boy as he was looking at her. She wondered what his thoughts were, only if she had telepathic abilities. She could do so many useful things and know many things as well. If she could do anything that she can't do already, it would be that. Her arms crossed against her womanly bosoms while in a thinking pose. It was obvious that something was wrong, but maybe she shouldn't pry too much on it. He complimented the berries that he picked up himself and then wondered about her. "Honestly? Not sure why, but for once I feel like I'm the doe in this little game." She spoke and remembered the masked man. He was watching them... Did he notice?

"The doe...?" Masami was well-aware that it was a metaphor, but he heedlessly asked either way. Right after, he threw some berries unto his mouth from one palm, chewing while continuing to ask. "How come?" is it too suspicious, that he's asking information from out-of-the-blue, just like that? Masami and Kurisa were in the same team, they should be able to trust each other, and support each other, but everything has become too stressful to even look at people in the eye, which was why Masami looked down at his bare feet instead. "Well, do you know how to get out?" it was a straightforward question, it was possible, maybe there was a way out, after all? Everyone wants to get out, nobody wants to stay.

She thought about something as she waited for his response. Why was he free? Why was the masked man just watching them free themselves from death and some - he just watches them die. Kurisa remembered how the girl who seemed to have been in her guild die from hanging and then the guy she knew, he died as well. She wondered who will be next; her or someone she knew well? there was a possibility that it could be someone she didn't even know, but she wasn't beating on it.

'Death or Last of Us'

Ana was quoting in their thoughts as Masami questioned how they will get out. She remembered that the bodies of those who died randomly disappeared. She didn't know about her ex-husband burying the woman though. She will just assume though as any survival game with extremes. She had a serious face as her facial expression slowly became numb. "You have to die or be the last to survive. Whoever transported us here obviously wanted a show." She looked back at him after finishing those words... It will haunt her one way or the other till she forgets by death.

"A-Ah..." he felt like he was being scolded, but then he offered another smile and tilted his head to the other side upon muttering this. She wasn't wrong, and that was the painful part... she was right about the thought Masami didn't want to be right. Oh well, guess that's just how it goes. "What do we get if we live until the end?" he asked this because he assumed that the woman had more knowledge, because then Masami had done nothing else but search for food, knowing that the rest had definitely gone through more useful things. Still, he somehow looked down on himself, but this was as much as he could do. He wanted answers from Kurisa, whom he knew had lived long enough to know almost everything, and these types of people where the people he believed to be worthy of respect. "But if we die..." a question that contrasts the other, Masami believed in the afterlife but he wasn't so sure if there was such in a situation, because then they might even have their corpses played with; regardless, he continued:

"where do we go?"

She looked around with her wandering eyes that seemed to make her look like she wasn't paying attention, but she was. Kurisa didn't want him to keep on standing, mostly since the next game could be any moment from now and then again as it was random. Masami asked if we lived in the end, what did they get? What will they get... It was a question she couldn't even answer. Her heart pounded fast as she was now anxious about what will happen and if they die? Where will they go...? She wondered about the girl who was here and also Jin. Jin couldn't have possibly died just like that. This had to be some trick. Her intelligence was very scientific, but also magical out of all the years she has lived.

"This is obviously a game. It would be a bigger game to him if he had us believe that when we die, we really die. Sounds pretty smart. Mostly if he's enjoying that type of thing." She then remembered about the ropes. It was obvious. He did like it. "Let's go sit over there." She motioned over towards the shade as she didn't want to be in the sun.

It wasn't assuring at all. In fact, Masami continued to become doubtful and cautious about the future circumstances. Masami didn't fear death, but he feared what comes before death. He feared having his fingers cut off one-by-one, he feared watching people wince in pain before they forever stopped, and most importantly he feared his loved ones dying. "That's sad." he couldn't even force himself to smile anymore, because the circumstances are, truly sad after all. A sadistic man behind the mask, but then that would be the end of it. Masami doesn't even know how he was still alive after all these. He followed Kurisa towards the shade, still holding out palms filled with blue berries, some of them already dropped unto one spot because of Masami's careless thoughts, but he wouldn't want to pick them back up. "What will we eat by the afternoon?"

The boy seemed to be overly worried about the problem of this island. He seemed to really want to live, but Kuri, Ana, Arisa all have dealt with death before and here they are now. She feels like once she finally rests she will enjoy it fully, but where will she go? Who will she meet? Or will she ever die and rest? There were many questions, but to not change the subject more she had her thoughts on food as he asked about it. "I've only found really good berries today." She spoke sadly as she felt like she could have found maybe some fish for it? It was somewhat questionable, but then she thought of other things. "Hey Masami? If this business wasn't happening... would you like to be on an island?" She asked curiously.
