Somehow Rinni had been teleported back to the camp after jumping off the pillar, eyes closed, and screaming in terror. She wasn't sure what had happened, it was all a blank as she woke up the next morning with quite a headache. She imagined it must have been from the altitude the previous night.

At least that nightmare was over, and she hoped whatever that strange man she saw last night had planned for them tonight would be closer to the ground. She wasn't even sure how she'd survived, to be honest. She was so scared she must have released herself in a panic just to escape.

Either way, now that she was safe at the camp, she decided to search for some nuts. She had heard certain kinds can help with headaches. With any luck, she could rid herself of the pain.

The nuts she had discovered weren't of the greatest quality, in fact, they were the worst, however, they seemed to neutralize her headache at least, allowing her some moment of peace in the hell that was this island. She looked around for familiar faces. She was sure she saw Ko and Lucian at some point, was she imagining things?

Either way, it was becoming clear that this Island and the mysterious man were dangerous. And as this was obviously some sort of survival of the fittest test, she had to use everything she had to survive. She hoped Ko and Lucian were okay, wherever they had wandered off to. After finding nuts, however, Rinni decided to go hunting for meat. She was starving, after all, and no one could live solely on fruits, nuts, and herbs, right?

Ko Lesalt

After being teleported back to camp in lieu of plummeting to the ground and breaking his legs, Ko had trouble sleeping throughout the rest of the night. Understandable, considering how horrific the beginning of the night had been. When Day finally came around, Ko was stricken with a pounding headache. It didn't help that the air was sweltering, and Ko figured that dehydration was what was causing his headache.

Forcing himself to get up and prepare, Ko decided that focusing on finding food was important. Luckily, he'd found something unusual during a previous day: a Torn Page from Oliver's Other Botanical Notes. From what he could discern, it had information about various types of Nuts and the like, making searching for Nuts more manageable. That might help take the edge off this throbbing headache. Maybe.

Mary, much to her mild disappointment, found herself still alive. Somehow she had managed to slip free of the ropes despite her frail state. The fall had been rather exhilarating... And the sudden stop at the end had been less lethal than she expected. Oh well. Maybe next time... For now, she had to focus on facing the new day. Once again hunger gnawed at her insides. The burning sun was giving her a terrible headache too. She wandered into the jungle again, seeking some shade and foraging for fruits. ...What? She liked fruits. Even if something else would’ve been better for the headache...

While searching for something to eat, the ghastly woman happened to find a familiar face. She recalled that the brunette had introduced herself, before she um... panicked and ran away. The vague memory of the name sat on top of the imaginary pile cluttering her mind. R-r-r-r... Rin... RinKo...? Rinni...? She wasn’t quite sure which one was correct. Still, it would’ve been impolite to run away again, s-s-s-so... Quietly she gathered her courage and snuck closer. The hunter might feel a pair of eyes on her back, the eerie sensation of being watched. Soon, a haunting whisper drifted in the air. “Ma... ry...” The pale woman shifted awkwardly, staring at her feet and poking her fingers together. “M-my name is... Mary...” A little clearer this time, but still utterly without context.

It was the third day on the island, from what Nuala could tell and things hadn’t been very good. Slowly, she felt as though she was getting an idea of what was going on. During the day, nothing much ever happened. The Voidling spent most of her time looking for fruit, although her hunts for food weren’t always very successful. But at least that time was spent peacefully, without any interruptions. Although at the moment she was suffering from headaches. During the nighttime, she was always being teleported to another area, usually having to fight for her life. She had survived so far, but she didn’t know how long her luck would last. For now, the Rogue would start searching for fruits to eat.

Nuala had previously been looking for fruits to snack on, but fortunately the day was still young – or so she thought. The Voidling wasn’t quite sure how long it has been since she had been stranded on the island, but surely looking for more food couldn’t hurt. And in all honesty, the fruits she had found weren’t great and they surely wouldn’t fill her up. Nuala wasn’t as much of a fruit gatherer as she was a hunter though, and when she heard the sound of a river nearby, the woman decided that it was probably a good idea to start hunting for fish instead. Nuala had hunted fish with her bare hands before and especially in rivers this could be doable. But of course she would have to hope for the best here as well.

A chill ran up Rinni's spine at the sound of a voice behind her and the strange sensation of being watched. She slowly turned and spotted the young creepy woman from 2 days ago. She had introduced herself but they had ended up teleported to the first game before they could speak properly, and day two had gone without incidence. She wasn't even sure the girl had survived to be honest.

"Oh! Mary, right? It's um... it's nice to meet you." Rinni answered in her shy and awkward way. She spotted Ko in the distance and went to join him.

Ko had to admit, the information on this random page of a journal had information that was on point. If he hadn't had it, he'd never have known that what looked like inedible pellets were actually completely serviceable and fit to eat. Already, his headache was starting to feel somewhat better. Naturally, Ko put his Torn Page from Oliver's Other Botanical Notes to good use, and continued searching for Nuts in the hope he'd find something even better.

As he did so, he noticed someone approaching, immediately putting him on edge. Thankfully, it turned out just to be Rinni, although that alone filled him with mixed feelings. He didn't want her to be here. "Hey Kitten. You doing okay?" There was no teasing or ham-fisted attempts to disguise himself this time. The situation didn't allow for it. Although, he did let his gaze wander over to the strange woman that had approached Rinni a moment ago. "Uh, who's your new friend?"

Rinni immediately hugged Ko, thankful he was alive. She really wasn't happy to see him, for once. Any other circumstance, yes, but not here. She didn't want him to be here. If she lost him...

She looked up at her boyfriend, tears in her eyes. "No. No, I'm not okay. I almost died twice. I didn't know if I was ever going to see you again..." She sobbed softly and wiped her eyes, she wanted to ask where they were. What was going on? But at this point, she doubted Ko had the answer.

She didn't think anyone did.

"Oh, this is... this is Mary. She's stuck in this hell with us. And we're not alone. There's something bigger going on." Rinni stated, staying close to Ko and grabbing his hand instantly seeking reassurance that everything would be okay.

Against all odds, Mary managed to... introduce herself without stuttering! She felt like she had accomplished a grand goal. ...Well, okay, she didn’t manage to respond afterwards, but she was still making progress. Baby steps, as they said. However, she was definitely not prepared to meet another new face. Merely meeting the intimidating man’s gaze sent shivers down her spine. She could only stare back. Unblinking... Without even breathing... Only Rinni’s comment managed to snap her out of the scared trance. She offered a hasty nod, even if she didn’t quite agree with the word choice. Hell was hell, whereas this island was something much worse. Innocent souls didn’t end up in hell after all...

Finally, the creepy woman managed to utter a tiny mutter. “I uh... should... um... f-food... yes...” With the awkward excuse, she inched backwards before promptly turning around and sprinting into the nearest bush. The two seemed like a cute couple and she didn’t want to be a bother... She busied herself with the task of seeking more food. The fruits were nice, but she really wished she could find something to soothe her aching head. Thus she started seeking for some nuts.
