Event

Someone named the Island Master has summoned you and a few others to Survivor Island. Why? No one seems to know the answer to that question.

  • There are three camps on the island: Raven, Hawk, and Vulture. Each participant can only roleplay with the members of their camp, because each camp is located far away from each other on the island.

  • Each topic title must be tagged correctly for it to count towards the event. The correct method is to add the camp and Day Phase behind each title as following - Ravens, Day 1 e.g. Bad Day - Ravens, Day 1.

  • Day Phases end when the Master posts the Game. This teleports everyone to the location of the Challenge, which means that any post made in a topic after the Challenge has been posted is considered invalid.

  • Time does not flow naturally on the island. Therefore, it is never clear when a Day Phase may suddenly end.

  • There will be no entry post in the Game topic. The first post is immediately a start of the game, thus requires a roll as well.

  • Participants may have gathered food during the Day Phase or found items. Should the participant have gathered food, they must indicate which food and how much bonus they receive in their first post of the Game topic beneath their post e.g. Low Quality Meat (+5 STR), High Quality Herbs (+15 CON).

  • The use of items should be DMed to me (except for Weapons and Evasive vs Monsters). Once a game starts many items can't be used anymore. Weapons vs Others can still be DMed to me before I end the game completely.

  • Ravens and Hawks will compete each other during these Games, and the team with the lowest score is considered the loser. As a result, the member with the lowest score from the losing camp will be removed from the island. This continues till there are only a few members left for the Ravens and Hawks.

  • Vultures will not participate against the Ravens and Hawks. Instead, they will compete against themselves. They will receive a different Game from the Master. The two participants with the lowest scores in the Game will be removed from the island.

  • After a few Day Phases, the Ravens and Hawks will have lost some members. Same goes for the Vultures. The last remaining members of the Vultures will be sent to Ravens and Hawks. Since the Vultures have experienced more hardships, they will receive a single item upon entering the camps.

  • The last remaining members of the Ravens and Hawks will eventually be merged. There are no more camps competing against each other. Everyone competes for themselves now individually. The participant with the lowest score in each challenge will be removed from the island.

General

  • Each participant has 10 points in their attributes during this event.

  • Each participant will only have shirts, pants, and a backpack.

  • It is not possible to use magic on the island.

  • Users may continue roleplaying as usual outside of the event while they roleplay on the islands for the event. This event does not fill any topic slots.

  • Social roleplay posts on the island are reduced to 100 words per post excluding speech.

Challenges

  • Each challenge relies on certain attributes. The challenges can consist out of multiple stages, thus multiple attributes may be required, but the combinations will be random each time.

  • An example would be solving a puzzle (Intelligence) to remove their rope around yourself first, after which you must capture one of the roaming monkeys with your bare hands (Speed).

    • In such topics, you first create a post attempting to solve a knot around yourself while rolling a dice. The dice represents your Intelligence in this case.

    • Once everyone has posted, you may post again for the second part in your second post which is trying to capture the monkey while rolling a dice again. This time the dice represent your Speed.

    • There is no posting order.

  • The rolled number is affected by the attributes of the user. In this case, the user has 10 Intelligence, so a roll of 40 would mean a roll of 50.

  • The attributes can be altered before a challenge by collecting food, items, cures etc.
