Lee Nakamura

There was nothing she could hate more. As the thoughts of revenge circled within her mind, she walked from the local cafe back to the Rune Knight stationed. Feeling uneasy this morning, she walked faster hoping to get there sooner. She did not want to come across as scared, but it was clear that she was. Her one handed sword was strapped on her side as her eyepatch was covering her right eye. It only left her black and red eye. The redhead could only think of what her brother and Kazimir said.

Then the thoughts of what Akira told her. IT made her blood boil. The Nakamura family has always hated the church for their views and later for what happened to her. Finally, the whole family knew what had happened and did not blame her at all for it. Infact, they were behind her into seeking revenge for what had happened. The kitsune was hope to be there already. There was something off as her anxiety was clearly showing her uncertainty for her safety. Jumping around, she sensed someone was following her. When she did, she saw nothing. A sigh came from her lips as she turned around to continue her way back. "Where are you Hikaru?" she thought. Hoping her brother would miraculously find her.

Lucrezia Arcuri
The Arcuri was already aware that the woman was a heathen of some sort, she didn't believe, she didn't have faith and so she was destined for a life littered with tedious times. She'd been watching and following the foxy girl for a while now. Lucrezia's heart went out to the poor mislead soul. Something within the girl had corrupted her so and she was now some abomination, a half-woman, half-beast. It was apparent from just her face that she had already suffered. It seemed she had either hurt or lost an eye somewhere along the tribulations she had endured. Yet, she felt empathy and all she wanted to do was fix the poor soul she noticed walking in front of her, across the road.

Gleaning information about the family, their role and a little bit more about her latest conquest had been difficult, but the Holy Knight didn't need all the details, just enough to justify her actions... to herself and her god. LeeAnn Nakamura hailed from a family of heretics, they were infamous for it. Lucrezia did not wish to see such agony prolonged, she wanted to help the poor girl who had the misfortune of suffering for the sins of her family and the choices made by others around her. At least that is what Lucrezia believed.

It was never good to lie and to pretend, but it was the will of Illumin that she escort this young lady to the church for a cleanse. For the girl's sake, Lucrezia wanted to ensure that she didn't create a scene. So as per the plan, she impersonated a lowly Rune Knight. It didn't take much effort for her to obtain the garb required to fool the unsuspecting victim. Swiftly she crossed the door waving at the fox. 'Ms. Nakamura, your company is requested, please allow me to escort you to the destination.' she said, with a polite bow and a gentle smile. There was nothing but kindness in the way she held herself. No malice to be seen, mostly because she didn't feel any. She only felt empathy and the desire to purge.

Out of pnaic, she tensed. Calculating everything. She noticed the blonde girl crossing her path. The redhead raised any eyebrow. It was odd. This was not he place she was heading. The Rune Knight's station was not for another few blocks. Was this page really watching her? She stepped back with a cold stare. It was apparent to her something was up as her instinct were screaming to not follow her. "For one, I am on a strict assignment to not be disturbed. Two, that is not where I am heading. You are clearly mistaken" she spoke. Lee An turned around and walk past her coldly not wanting to be disturbed. If she wanted to, she could run faster and get away but she felt the need to not to.

LeeAnn looked back at her and stared with her cold.gaze. "What's your true goal? I am guessing you aren't not Rune Knights? A page would know better than to wear that attire. That's the uniform for train not for actually formal job hunting" she said. She spoke. She was 15 meters away from Luci and clearly knew this was all a trick. She knew since.her family were mostly Rune Knights and grew up around them.

Lucrezia Arcuri
Lucrezia smiled politely at the thinly veiled accusations. She was young and she could tell the lady she was in a tussle with had more experience and so perhaps wasn't as naive as the Arcuri had hoped. Her mother wasn't going to be happy about this, the blonde had to figure out some way to turn the tide of this around. 'Oh, forgive me.' She started stepping away from the Nakamura, as though to give her space, well... the illusion of it anyways. 'I didn't mean to bother you, I'm just a messenger.' she added. It clearly still didn't quite fool the woman.

The blonde had to find a way to keep up the charade for now, she couldn't afford for this to change from a battle of minds to a battle of strength. After all, the Holy Knight wasn't much of a fighter yet. 'My goal? To rise and to serve, of course!' she chirped, acting as though she hadn't understood the suspicion that lilted in the question of her target. LeeAnn gave up her reasons for her doubt, which lay in the uniform Lucrezia had picked up. The young girl quickly sifted through plausible reasons she could offer to assuage the woman's concern.

'I'm in my training clothes because I was just at the training grounds, gearing up and trying to get stronger in case I have to defend against demons again...' she said with a seemingly nervous chuckle. Her cool sea coloured eyes regarded the woman with something akin to warmth, drawn from the pity she felt for the girl. 'Did I do something wrong? Should I have changed before approaching you? I'm still new and learning all the rules.' she went on, layering her words with anxiety and nervousness to hopefully draw some empathy from the jumpy lady, surely she knew how it felt to be new. It wasn't too difficult to channel into these emotions, Lucrezia was new to her service among the Knights, just the holier sort however.

LeeAnn grew a bit harsh with her words, but had to with younger knights. It was her way of showing tough love. The pages were teh week and having a higher rank, she knew that most of the time. She really had to keep track of what she would say and how she would present herself. Afterall, she was the only daughter of Nicolas Nakamura and Elizabeth Sokolov. Despite her hatred to her mother, she still loved her. It would take time to her to heal after what had hapeened. She was tortured for almost seven to eight years by the church for arresting a hard time criminal. She was only doing her job. Not quite understanding the reasoning why people would go to such lengths to harm others.

The girl was clearly nervous and LeeAnn could see that. She felt satisfied with herself a little bit. The redhead only sighed. "Tell me the truth, if you were training, your hair would be a mess, you would be sweating, and you would have some form of scars on you" she pointed out. With a shrug the young redhead sighed. "I guess you are just nervous of getting caught doing something wrong? You're a lowly page. No one will pay attention to your actions which is good if you dont want to get into trouble. Fine, what do they need me for?" she would ask. Looking down at her from afar, she was playing along with her little game to see what she would do.

Lucrezia Arcuri
Lying was bad. Lucrezia would have to find a way to pay for this sin despite her divine intention. The woman was really forcing her to stretch this sin too. When she displayed her authority, Lucrezia at least felt a moment of triumph, it seemed like her deception had worked at the very least. She had convinced LeeAnn that she was a lowly page. Now she just needed to weave more lies to strengthen the fabric of her pretence. She waved her hand dismissively and apologetically bowed. 'Oh miss, please don't tell anyone, I was just going through the motions of training and didn't risk getting into the thick of it, I was scared and... I thought I'd be rather useless when it truly mattered if I overexerted myself.'

Her head remained ducked as she avoided eye contact presumably out of shame. She nodded quietly, hoping this would be the last of it. The blonde had gotten lucky. 'Yes, exactly. Please forgive me.' She repeated. It seemed the Nakamura was finally inclined to accompany her after all. Now all the young blonde had to do, was escort the woman to the church, to the other Arcuri, her mother. 'As a show of good faith, to mend fences between the Knights, a few of us pages were asked to rebuild an old abandoned monument, a superior asked me to find you to monitor our progress.' She explained as she began leading the fox. She deliberately used the word monument instead of church, given that the connotations may lead to more hesitation. If the lady knew the town well, she'd probably begin recognising the path they were taking soon.

They reached the small frozen creek, the old bridge lay broken, but a sheet of ice could allow them to cross, however it was likely to be a dangerous and perilous move. 'Oh no, they haven't made the temporary bridge yet. Do you think we can carefully cross over the ice, Ms. Nakamura?' she asked curiously, wondering if the woman would back up her authority with courage and lead the way this time.

LeeAnn knew too well when someone was lying. She had seen this before. No page she knew would bother to know her last name, but there were the few that remembered her. She was hard to forget. LeeAnn sighed ans pinched the bridge of her nose quite aggravated "Alright, make this quick. I do have somewhere to be with my Captain about my own progress about my missions" she replied. She would follow the blonde, pretending to be obvious to her plan. Playing dumb was the only way to get out of this situation. It did not help tht her instincts were screaming to run. There were some old monuments that needed fixing, but it was not the Rune Knight's job to fix them. That was the government's and the city's job. Rune Knights were only here to protect. Unless the city commissioned some cheap help, then she was not needed.

She was lead to old creak with a broken bridge. LeeAnn looked around. The bridge was not mended and torn to pieces. There was a few things hanging from it like old rope or boards hanging about. Trying to NOT get drowned again, she decided to use the old rope and swing across. Simple for her. "Here, this should do. Swing across after I climb this tree and tie this to the a branch" she said. LeeAnn had climbed the tree quickly. She was trying to be quick and agile, but not careful. She was being careless about shifting her weight on each branch. Finally she reached the top, and started tying the rope around the tree.

Doing a fancy knot, she tugged on the rope a few times assuring it was safe. Nodding her approval, she started to make her way down. But the night before the snow on some of the branches had started to break a few of the weaker ones. Her right foot stepped on the branch. A loud snap was heard causing the young Nakamura to fall from the tree and onto the ice. Luckily, the ice was thick enough to not break, but caused LeeAnn to hit hte ground. Her vision was started to blur. This would give for an easy kidnapping seeing her state was tragic yet easy for the prey.

Lucrezia Arcuri
She expected she'd be the one who would have to take the risk first. She was supposed to be the lower ranking officer, wouldn't it be her duty to ensure that the Nakamura was safe? Instead, the red haired woman decided to take the lead. Perhaps, it was her job to lead and so... Lucrezia did not question this and simply nodded to confirm that she understood.

When LeeAnn lost her footing and fell onto the sheet of ice, Lucrezia feared that she'd lose the woman to the icy depths of the stream. Luckily that didn't happen and instead she simply lay there limp. She watched the woman for a bit, wondering if she was going to stir and need the blonde's help, but that didn't happen. Lucrezia stepped onto the ice tentatively and checked if the woman was still breathing. She was.

She had not expected things to work out so well and so suddenly. It was moments like this that her faith in Illumin truly peaked. This had to be the right thing to do, otherwise she wouldn't have succeeded with such ease. Now that she had confirmed that the ice was strong enough to hold her weight, she nimbly continued to walk on it and carefully dragged the Nakamura across the stream.

She partially hoisted the unconscious woman across her shoulders and slowly made her way to the decrepit church through the thicket of the forest. Once they were there, Lucrezia took LeeAnn down to the refurbished dungeons and slowly set her down. Shackles were snapped onto her ankles with long chains that buried themselves in the walls. Lucrezia plucked away any equipment that could potentially aid the woman in making a get away. Her job was done... When LeeAnn would wake, her purging would begin. Lucrezia was not strong enough to engage in such activities, but perhaps she would get to watch and learn...

Usually, the Seated Knight was more aware of things around her. This time was not so lucky for the redhead. The last thoughts he has were about Kazimir and her older brother. If she had to make one choice, she would of ran. Ran faster than ever before as her instincts were telling her something was not right.

Religion was noting but an excuse for people to hurt others. It was too much engraved into her mind to change, much like stone. She heard the branch snap and quickly hurled down toward the earth. A loud thump was heard as she fell on her chest, breaking a few ribs in the process. As her breath staggered, she could see nothing by the ice and some dirt showing.

"Hikaru...Kazimir"

She would whisper until she went cold. LeeAnn would not want to know what had happened next in the days coming. She would wished that he would die probably. The shackles were wrapped around her wrist much like before. It was all too familiar. The sounds and sights, if she woke up now. All she could do as panic and scream as if shew as in a horror film. Would anyone notice she was gone?

Only Kazimir would have the idea of what would of happened.
