Daiko Flayme
Okay, it was time to leave this cold-hearted place called Sieghart Mountains and go straight to the southern regions. After Kai left a day prior to now, Daiko had been cruising up and down the mountain for regular training - just to be more adapted to the wild environments and to forget that there was such a thing as ‘roads’ in reality. Coda was being Coda, perching on his shoulder and pecking his hair for anything edible. To her surprise, though, Daiko was very hygienic despite his outdoor life, and he managed to build up against impurity and disgusting diseases such as… uh, all those diseases that he couldn’t mention by name due to oblivious ignorance.

He had also caught a cold that just made things go downhill from now on. Great. This was what the cold was responsible for; giving people colds and lowering their bodily capabilities by a margin. He could barely breathe through his nostrils, and his left eye watered as if he was cursed by the gods. For what felt like a century compacted into two hours, he laid inside the same cave that he and Kai settled at in their previous training and drew on the wall with a random rock that his hand could reach. The drawings were of animals and bows and stickmen. At this condition, Daiko just couldn’t process his brain a bit more efficiently than this.

Usually, he was good with art. He had a notebook back in his backpack with drawings of Coda and some wizards from here and there that he met throughout his career as a Lamia Scale wizard. That was when his brain was at peak condition, however, and a burning nose and tickling bones helped little in setting for a nice image of a topic that he wanted to immortalize on the wall of this cave.

Coda would occasionally come to him with herbs from the mountain’s foot. The bird was smarter than he thought; he shouldn’t have thought of such mean things about her. It was also due to the fact that she could read his mind… in some way, somehow. When it came to people, in this case a man and a bird, who lived together for years, there would always be a time where they just knew what they thought of each other. With a content smile, he stroked Coda’s neck and spoke: “You’re a good girl…”

At some point, his cold disappeared. That was when he decided to make a run for it and escape Sieghart Mountains before the cold returned. Dashing out of the mountain, Daiko was seen almost flying to his death until he was braked by a nearby tree crown. His feet softly planted onto the tree crown’s leaves and used them as a pillow, in which he slowly descended from it and landed on the surface. Kai must have already been miles ahead of him by now, so he should be hurrying. What if the next challenge of his and hers required help?

Daiko quickly noticed the change in the weather. It got warmer and warmer by time, and the snow quickly melted away and disappeared. He wasn’t in the colder region of Fiore anymore - no, he had approached the southern part where the sun shined longer and the temperature came up over 0 degrees Celsius. Actually, the temperature skyrocketed at one point in his walk, and from that point on, it felt as if it was summer in Orchidia again - and without having noticed it, Daiko’s feet made him pass by the gate to the port town that he was aiming for.
