Chelvaric Walderkat
Chelvaric was going through some books in the book store as he wanted to surprise Snow with a book for their first month anniversary. He wondered what kind of book snow would like, he didn’t realy know for sure but he had to find something good for her. Maybe something romantic as a lot of girls liked the romantic stuffs. He looked around for a while and asked some help from the shop owner till he had three books that could be good enough to give her as a present. In the end he go da book with some short stories about forbidden loves. He hoped she would like it. He paid the shop owner the money that he owned him and went outside as the bell at the door made a sound once again to announce his leave with a happy twinkle sound.

The day was quite cold and he wrapped his red scarf closer around his neck. He also bought some special ear warmers that he could put over his elf ears to make them warm again. People were all duffle in and were walking fast to a warm house or another place where they wouldn’t feel too cold. He sighed and saw his breath as a smoke coming out of his mouth. Winter was getting close to them.

Venus Rosé

The streets were busy with a lively tempo as people flocked to places they were supposed to be, finding things they were supposed to do, and one young woman would be there, muddled through the crowd, unknowing of what to pursue first and how to deal with the day when she was still so hung up with how far she’s been thrown off her primary objective. Her face was a rather new and foreign one in the area, and people whispered among themselves as she wandered through the streets. But, they did not stir from fear, rather, people liked to stare at odd, shiny things from afar, and she was no different.

The female didn’t want to acknowledge whatever they found interesting on her features, be it her clothes or her white hair – similar to that of a snow – and she simply busied herself with her daily morning routine of grocery shopping.

After purchasing whatever she needed to make dinner tonight for her lover and herself, she led herself further down the road and eventually found herself near the Towns Square. The first thought that came to her mind was to check the request board – another habit of hers that was practiced ever since she became a Fiore wizard. She sauntered her way over the request board and quickly scanned for any available quests that might interest her.

Chelvaric was walking through the streets and saw a lot of people passing. Most were completely wrapped in there warm clothes to keep themselves from freezing to death. He wondered if Snow was duffle in with her own warm clothes. He didn’t want her to catch a cold and get sick. He pulled his own scarf closer to his neck and walked through the streets.

He wondered what would happen if it would start to snow, the roads would get blocked and that would be quite annoying as they would be stuck in the town for a while. Not that he minded that much since he could spend some time with Snow during that time, like going for a walk or skiing down the hill. Maybe they could make some Christmas cookies and walk down to a Christmas market where they would drink glew wine and eat the most amazing things you can eat on Christmas. But that time wasn’t now and he wandered out of his deep thoughts into the now and here as he arrived at his apartment. He unlocked the door and shouted that he was home but nobody responded back. It seemed snow was outdoors, time for him to wrap up the present he thought and he went to get the wrapping paper that he had left. It was just red with little puppy’s on it, nothing too special. He tied a ribbon above it and used a scissor to make it mare curly.

Venus Rosé

Icy hues skimmed over the sheets that were pinned up against the board and so far, nothing seemed interesting enough for her until her eyes landed upon a particular pink sheet. The colour of the quest immediately gave it away on who the client was – Fernando – with its feminine colour and the scent of perfume that tainted the sheet. Without any hesitation, she ripped the paper from the board and folded neatly into four before sliding it into the pocket of her jeans.

With that, she eased the grocery bag over her shoulder and headed back towards their rented room, thinking that Chelvaric was most likely waiting for her back in the room. She wasn’t sure where he went in the morning, but she wasn’t too worried about it since she was aware that her lover preferred to spend his time outside most of the time.

The door was unlocked when she arrived, which meant that Chelvaric was home from his morning wanders. The female settled down the bag of groceries that she had bought earlier and edged a hand into her pocket to retrieve the quest letter. She wanted to inform him that she had gotten a quest for both of them to complete; something that they will have to look forward for the day.

Chelvaric was done wrapping up the present and didn’t really had much else to do, till he saw that they left the dishes from yesterday. He walked over and started to let the water run to fill up the sink. He walked to the cabin above the cooking stove and took some washing soap out of it. After adding it to the water it would foam realy nice. Elisa suddenly jumped on the counter and laid down to watch him doing the dishes. He rubbed her head softly before he started. He took the dishes and cleaned them thoroughly. When he was done he placed them next to him where Elisa was cleaning them with a towel in her mouth. It was quite adorable to see.

After he was done with the dishes he cleaned up the apartment a bit so that it would look nice and tidy. He didn’t like messy rooms and wanted everything to be perfectly clean and neat. When he was busy folding some clothes on the ground he heard Snow coming through the door. He walked out of the bedroom and towards her, grabbing her by the waist and kissing her. “Hi beautiful person, how was your day?”, he asked of her and waited for her answer, it seemed she had brought some cooking ingredients maybe she was going to cook today.

As soon as Snowflake entered the room, her lover emerged from the bedroom that they shared during their stay in the village, as if he had waiting for her appearance. The female broke into a smile and was grabbed by the waist, only for him to lean in and give her a kiss. ”I just did some shopping for our dinner,” answered the youth as she glanced over the bag of groceries that she had just bought. ”Also, I got a quest from Fernando. I think this might be interesting.” She slipped from his grasp and moved over to the kitchen counter where she began to unfold the piece of paper and handed it over to Chelvaric for him to read as she placed the food orderly in the refrigerator.

It would have been better if they had some beverage with them. Seems like she’s going to have to purchase a bottle of wine for their dinner tonight. Though she may not look like it, she does her best in everything little thing, even if it was just preparing dinner – but this wasn’t just some dinner – it was with her beloved paramour, after all. When she was done, she turned to face Chelvaric once again and see if he would be up for the request.

As he had thought she went shopping food for the both of them. he was really curious what she would cook for dinner. “oh, what are you gonna cook then? I am really wondering what amazing meal you will fix up for us”, he said to her and looked at her in wonder. She always cooked such great food that he was worried that he would turn fat soon. He should go work out a bit when they were done with the next job. Snow handed him a job request and asked if he wanted to join her to complete the job. He wondered why she even still asked as he ended up saying yes everytime anyway.

It seemed to be the same guy that requested the job as the last job. He took the paper from snow and started going over the lines. When summarized the text it seemed that someone had been doing all kind of things to sabotage the show in any way they could. He felt a bit guilty for this situation since they picked those girls to be the models. So he felt quite obligated to do the job then to deny it.

“Let’s do it, I feel a bit guilty about it since we picked those girls"

When Chelvaric agreed to go on the quest, Snowflake began getting ready; retrieving her bag that contained of makeup, tissues and other feminine products that she would need for the rest of the day. A girl should look beautiful all the time, she thought as she combed through her silky strands of silver hair. This time, she decided to let her hair fall over her shoulders, instead of tying it up into a high ponytail – a style that she would do often. Quickly sliding into her coat, she would mention that they should leave already if they didn’t want to be late for their appearance and their client wouldn’t like it either.

The weather was starting to get colder each day and the girl couldn’t help but wonder when the snow would begin to fall. Being named after the snow and having winter as her favourite season, she was quite excited about the upcoming change. With arms linked together, the couple headed towards their client’s boutique.

The arrival at their destination was greeted by the sight of numerous designers, models and artists that were preparing for the fashion show. Amazed at the view before her, she studied what each and every one of them were doing; the designers styling the outfits while the makeup artists painted on the faces of the models as if it were a canvas. At the back of the room would be Fernando, busy with his work and he’d smile when he saw them – not one of those beaming grins – it was different this time and something was wrong.

Chelvaric was getting his water bottle and put it on his belt so that they have something to drink if they would get thirsty. It was always important to stay hydrated. He put his long green coat over his shoulders and closed it with a brooch that was in the shape of a green leaf with a golden circle behind it. He was ready and looked at Snow as she had picked up her purse and this time had let her hair fall loose, it looked quite nice on her but he preferred the ponytail. He better kept that to himself though, girls were quite sensitive about those topics.

They went out of the apartment and started to walk towards the Shop where the fashion show was going to take place and where they were rehearsing. It seemed to be really busy as people were running around and trying to get the fashion show ready before it starts. It seemed to give a lot of pressure to people and he wondered if they would finish in time. They walked to Fernando who was smiling miserably and not happy. “Ah finally! You two are here I really need your help, someone or something is ruining my show! They tear my clothes they make the makeup go wrong and a ton of other things can you find out who is doing this and stop them?”, he asked in despair of them.

The couple were dragged into a secluded area by Fernando, as if he had something very secretive to talk about. And, she was correct. It seemed that someone wanted to ruin the fashion show – its reason unknown, but she couldn’t think of any other reason of why the person would want to throw all the efforts into waste unless he or she wanted attention. A sigh escaped her lips out of exasperation and she nodded, willing to help their client out since he seemed quite desperate. She could understand him, after all, it was an event that he had applied all his efforts and gave his soul just for the fashion show. She rested her hand on the man’s shoulder, in an attempt to reassure him that they would find the culprit, only to receive a weak smile in return.

”We should ask around first.”

She glanced over the crowd of people that packed the room and with a glance, it was obvious that she couldn’t immediately tell who the culprit was and everyone seemed so busy with the event, that she was almost unwilling to disturb their work. Snowflake approached the clothing section and she would see a group of females fixing the dresses and gowns around the models. ”Excuse me, I’d like to discuss something with you please.” The woman stared at her with a confused expression, but still listened to her request.

”By any chance, do you remember the last person who was responsible for all these dresses before they were ruined?"

”Hm, I take care of them, but yesterday, I requested Linda to place them in my room. I think she was the last person.”

Snowflake nodded and simply walked away to collect more information, after thanking the woman for giving her some information.

He hoped he could help the man find the person who was doing this deed of sabotage. He was starting to like the man and that’s why he seemed to be more caring about the job then he normally would. Snowflake laid a hand on the shoulder of the man probably to have the comforting feeling over him as he seemed to be quite stressed. That was pretty nice of her, a deed that most would forget to do and she did it in an instant. It seemed cold personalities were sometimes sweeter than normal ones.

Snow said that they should question the staff of the event to find out more about what happened and he agreed with her that was the best way of action as he couldn’t think what else they could do. It was hard to approach someone of the staff as they were all busy working hard on their individual tasks, they were working harder then normal since the fashion show was in danger of not being finished in time by the time they had to show it. He went his own way to make the progress go faster. He walked up to a girl who was putting makeup on each person in a hurry. “Hello there, sorry to bother you but do you know who did the makeup of the girls yesterday when they had weird make up on them?”, he asked to the girl and watched how she kept working, she seemed to be very precise with her hands. “That was Jessica, I don’t know what happened but that was horrible work!”, she said annoyed and kept working on the girl.

Snowflake had visited at least two or three departments and somehow, each one of them were giving different answers, which only made it hard for them to find out who the culprit was. She walked over to Chelvaric to see how he was doing and it seemed that he was in the same situation as hers. She released an exasperating sigh and massaged the bridge of her nose from the headache that the entire thing was giving her. Unable to continue with her work, she wondered what she should do; either continue investigating or spy on the models. She decided to go with the latter instead. The only ones responsible for the case was most likely the models since the rest of the people worked extremely hard to put all these together. It would be a waste of efforts if they were trying to ruin their own work.

”We should observe the models for now and see if there’s anything wrong.”

The female took a seat on a vacant chair and gestured Chelvaric to sit beside her. With her legs crossed, her eyes scanned the models in the room who were busy trying out the dresses for the show. So far, there was nothing going on, but little did they know that they were just about to find out everything that was going wrong.

Chelvaric looked at Snow as she was rubbing her nose bridge it seemed she was having a headache, that was not good and he hated it. “Are you okay Snowy?”, he asked her. He understood her though since the last person he asked he had tried to ask a couple of other staff members but it seemed there were always other names that would come out of the hat. Maybe there were multiple culprits that were trying to sabotage the fashion show and that would make it harder to stop it. Snowy went to a chair and placed herself into it while she patted the chair next to her as she wanted him to sit down. Her plan was to just observe the place for now since they were stuck on what to do.

It didn’t take long or they would see a girl trying to cut the clothes of another model. Chevaric was shocked by there behavior. Then he was looking to the dressing rooms and he saw another girl releasing a mouse into someone’s room. He looked at Snow in disbelieve. “I am disgusted that the people we picked are going so low just to get rid of other models”, he said to her and he shook his head.

Humans act so disgusting at times, he thought to himself.

”Mhm, I’m alright,” answered the ivory haired female, not wanting to make her lover worried about her. She hadn’t expected the work to be so complicated and as diligent as she was, Snowflake loathed everything that was overly dramatic. But, in cases like these, it was bound to happen and someone would always want to sabotage your work. They were seated in a distant, but the models were still in their clear view. It was then she would see one of the models holding a scissor up against the face of another girl. Somehow, a fight had broken out in the room and the girls were arguing with one another. She released a long sigh once again and to see such attractive models with a horrible personality was the worst thing – it was done out of jealousy, or so she assumed.

Not wanting to be a part of the drama, Snowflake immediately got up from her seat and walked over to Fernando to report the discovery. She would began explaining about the girls and even what the staff had told her. This had made Fernando furious; a sight that she had never seen the entire time he was their client. Without saying another word, the designer stormed into the room, only to fire all those who were responsible of ruining his show. Serves them right. She thought to herself and nodded at Chelvaric’s statement. Having beauty didn’t mean anything if their personality is the contrast of their looks.
