This blade was originally named the Kazoku Chūsei no Ha (or Blade of Family Loyalty) when it was given to its wielder Murasaki Katsuragi on their 16th birthday when their father Murasaki Shikoku fully accepted them as his child and official warrior of the clan. The sword was forged by the smiths of the Murasaki clan to match Katsuragi’s skills and their hopes for a new samurai to lead the clan. But the night that Murasaki Katsuragi confronted their false father, sliced his arm from his body and left the clan to become Tsunagi Kamui, she also gave the sword a new name. So, with Shikoku’s blood still warm on its edge, Kamui newly dubbed the blade Senzo no Hōkai (or Forefather's Fall)

Effects

Mana Burn: This blade thrists for the mana of those it's felled, gained with the blood of its masters kin was shed. Upon striking the target, they will lose the equivalent of one rank lowers worth of mana. This may only be applied to weapons.

Effect: The wielder of Senzo no Hōkai runs a finger or two across the side of the katana while saying the spell name, causing a violet magical circle the appear beneath the blade. As the finger moves, a violet aura and crackling lighting appear where the fingers had been, coating the sword in dangerous magic. This causes whatever is hit by the sword while the spell is active to receive 1x S rank in magic damage along with the sword's physical damage while the spell is sustained. Thanks to its overwhelming power, the damage this attack inflicts ignores the resistance of those who are hit by it.

Effect: The wielder of Senzo no Hōkai lifts the sword skyward and says the spells name, causing a violet magic circle beneath them in a .5-meter diameter. Flashes of violet lighting strike out from the edges of the magic circle, then continue to strike in a wave outwards until they reach the spell's range, causing 1x A rank spell damage. Those within the magic circle do not get hit by the spell, but in return, the spell's range goes down by 1 meter.
