Pouch| Name: The Ancient Alchemist Saga Part I: Grimoire of the Ancients Difficulty: Long Participants: Kairaiko, Daiko Story: During her adventures as a merchant Kairaiko obtained an ancient grimoire which contained a logbook of sorts from an ancient Talaz Lagaar scientist who was one of the first to successfully combine the art of magic with robotics. Later given the term 'Magitek' a lot of his research became restricted to only the privileged few within Talaz Lagaar. However, during her time in Hargeon alongside Daiko the girl receives a mysterious missive from Talaz Lagaar that suggests one of the higher-ups among the authority of the island nation discovered her possession of the grimoire and offers her a deal: If she can prove herself worthy of being the successor to the Talaz Lagaar's fabled alchemist she will be permitted to access to the fabricator and assistance in further deciphering the grimoire. However, if she fails to prove her worth then the authorities will take the grimoire into custody as it is rightfully belonging to the people of Talaz Lagaar. Will Kairaiko succeed in following the footsteps of the famous 'Cid'? Or will she fail like the many before her? Fortunately, she has the cheerful and loyal Daiko Flayme at her side, so surely nothing can go wrong... right? Objective: - Travel to Talaz Lagaar - Meet with the Council serving as one of the authority organs within the island. - After their meeting travel to Cid's abandoned workshop and discover one of the keys to decipher more of the grimoire. - Start on Project ALPHA & OMEGA |

Claiming to carry a missive from Talaz Lagaar its contents seem to leave Kairaiko quite troubled... | Name: The Council Rank: A Type: Good Participants: Kairaiko & Daiko Summary: Arriving in Talaz Lagaar the two are quickly greeted at the port by the authorities who have been expecting them. Escorted to a grand facility the pair has a meeting with a council of scientists who accuse Kairaiko of stealing documents from Talaz Lagaar. However, among one of them a voice of reason resounds as the elderly man explains the grimoire in Kairaiko's possession was unlikely to be stolen, for it belonged to his old friend Cid Garlond, a famous alchemist who was one of the first to use the concept of Magic and technology to pioneer the inventions known as Magitek. However, Cid was quite an enigmatic person and just as likely to have lost it or sold it for some silly reason. However, since his unfortunate disappearance will leave the matter unsolved the scholar proposes a deal: Prove herself capable of walking in Cid's footsteps and she can keep the grimoire and even gain the resources within Talaz Lagaar for her creations. Fail and she has to hand over the grimoire... Others: N/A Enemies: N/A Objectives: - Prove to the council that she is capable of inheriting their missing colleague's legacy. - Alongside Daiko travel to Cid's workshop and discover the ancient cypher to decipher more of Cid's Grimoire. |
| Name: Intrusive Factors Rank: A Type: Good Participants: Kairaiko & Daiko Summary: While Kairaiko is making progress in deciphering the ancient grimoire that was left behind by Cid, an unexpected obstacle arrives in the form of a group of treasure hunters who want to get their hands on the rumored treasure lurking in Cid's vault. Attempt to convince the bandits to leave, either by word or by force. Others: N/A Enemies: A group of organized treasure hunters. Objectives: - During Kairaiko's research the vault will be raided by treasure hunters - Time for Daiko to shine! |
| Name: A heartfelt sacrifice Rank: A Type: Good Participants: Kairaiko & Daiko Summary: Despite the negotiations running out of hand Daiko's presence seems to be making the treasure hunters somewhat restless. However, when one of their new recruits makes a decision to try to ambush Daiko Kairaiko's attempt to protect the lad turns into a tragedy when a blade meant to stab Daiko's back instead instead impales the poor merchant lass. Stuck between the enraged automatons of the girl and Daiko the treasure hunters soon find themselves panicking, yet their fate will be for Daiko to decide. Objectives: - After Kairaiko is severely injured, work alongside the angry Automatons of the girl to defeat the treasure hunters and decide their fate. - Try to tend to Kairaiko's injury. |

Although she attempts to keep a cheerful demeanor it is clear Kairaiko is afraid of the parting that is foretold at this point. Unless... An old folktale proves to be real... Can the tears of a Phoenix truly bring back the dead? And can the kiss of a prince truly wake one from their eternal slumber? | Name: Alpha & Omega Rank: S Type: Good Participants: Kairaiko & Daiko Summary: Upon their return to the council, the duo's revelations seem to be leaving the council divided on the matter, yet in the end a majority vote leads to the decision to bestow onto Kairaiko the resources to continue Cid's research. However, amidst all this a break seems more than deserved for the two lovebirds.
