Blood Battle Babes [TLB – A New Questline] Empty Sat Oct 07, 2023 11:23 am

Vex having gotten an emergency summons to the guild made her way there and looked around at some people that had seemed to have seen a ghost or something. Vex wondered if maybe something had happened and she hoped it hadn't happened to either Scarlett or Nasira as they were very irreplaceable to the guild as cuties and fletchings that need to be raised to be greats like the others that have started in the country. She starts hearing the rumblings through the guild that there were vampires up in the caves that had started to attack people and that were aiming to kill and cause issues and that is something as a member of the guild they couldn't just stand by and do nothing about so she was going to make sure that she is ready.

Vex headed to her room in the guild for now to gain some tools and her bow that she had cleaned up and made look good as well as her freshly sharpened dagger that she would probably be getting a lot of use with today as they were probably going into a battle field from the cave as the vampires were either going to be there regrouped or they would have fled to regroup and it end up being a bigger fight later but for now Vex was going to find a partner for the emergency quest that they had just gained and seeing that Scarlett seemed to have already left she went to see if Nasira was still here and team up with her and be her personal guard and mentor for this mission.

In some manner Nasira eventually show up. It seemed she had been preparing to go out and set out for a task requested for the guild to do and she out of anyone already seemed intently ready to go do it, either with some one of herself. She had spend most of the morning in the guild preparing herself, gear she had and checking on everything she was carrying with supplies to make sure it was all in shape. If anyone was prepared to go into caves it would be Nasira.

As she was finishing her means of preparing and moving along she figured she would check if anyone else was lingering about. Seeing Vex around it seemed if anything a good time for her to see what Vex's plan was.After all Nasira got set up pretty reasonable considering time."I am going out to look into this Vampire matter, What is your plan?"Nasira asked while she was here and slowly moved on to move about.

Eventually walking over and stopping before Vex."Are you coming with me or am I going alone?"She figured it was a fair question, even if these two had not really gotten to know each other all that much she seemed willing to offer anyway. Sure it was a different way of asking but Nasira was a bit of a different woman compared to most people around here. she was for more forward focused over all rather then thinking about manners.

Vex looked from the door toward the woman and she smiled as it seemed the woman was already ready to go. "Seems you are on top of it huh?" She picked up her bag that had her dagger and bow attached to them and she put it on. As it seemed that Nasira was all ready.  "I came to team up with you to make sure that you are not killed off and will be able to grow and see your potential." Vex gave her a thumbs up and then started out of the building with the woman in tow as she was going to keep the lower ranked woman safe and sound from danger and if she can't she will have Carla staying closer to her so she can be saved if shit hits the fan. She follows the path and can hear that others of the guild are already clashing with the vampires and they are using the shadows and dark areas of the forest as points of attack and Vex starts firing off into the trees and hitting vampires that were stalking her and Nasira.

She hopes that Nasira is really ready for a fight as it looks that the fight is coming to them and Vex will make sure that they woman isn't hurt as Carla is watching from close by to be able to move in and save the other woman from damage and danger if she must but for the most part Carla is only there to be a protector of the fire mage and she was going to make sure that the woman is pulled out of danger as fast as it can be done.

Vex was correct she was on top of these things and keep track of things going on around her. These matters where important to her because well. The people were already things they needed to look out for."On top of it is what you call it? Here I am just more worried about the risk to people."Nasira said while she was over all finishing up what she was doing. But it showed she was focused and ready to go.

But Nasira listened to what was said to her and seemingly just took it at face value. Over all it was better that maybe she did. Nasira did see the reason for it.But Nasira being herself could not help but chuckle about it slightly."I suppose that is not a bad option. It is better to be in a pair then alone."Almost in some manner she had considered how many other people might have protested because she would have been okay by herself but entirely that was not the point anyway.

Then she would just simply asked before they considered leaving was a pretty simple question."Do you need anything while we are here?"Since well Nasira was ready to go, so she had to ask just to be sure. After all Nasira had just packed up and prepared right away with out question. It was all her being ready to do what she felt was right. Thus she did not know if Vex was ready too.

Vex was glad to hear that this woman was fired up and ready but he wondered if she was able to back up that readiness that she was showing or if this might just be a very dangerous time as vampires are a major issue if she gets bitten as she doesn't want the woman to get turned into a blood drinking vampire and be the one that failed her and caused her to become one and that seemed to be the trick that needed to be watched out for as danger was one thing but that was not the only answer there as many things can come of taking a misstep and failing to see that there was a deeper danger and she was ready for what might come their way and she was going to keep her safe from it all. "No I am fully ready as I was more worried that you would be unready but it seemed that we are both fully ready."

Vex was seeing many things that were running through her head after the trouble that can of course be avoided or so Vex would like to think but there is trouble that she might not be able to handle but she was willing to give her life to make sure that this flame mage doesn't just get crushed under the weight of the world and the grip of a vampire but before that she has to focus and fight as hard as she can but things are not always as they seem as she hears screams of the guild mates that had gone ahead of them.

It was different to see some one reflect such care of others, Nasira not having much other experience being around Vex, took it as a good thing because Nasira was more making to sure. She was willing to leave Vex behind to get to work for her to join up with her later. But since they where on the same page she did not have much else to worry about."I don't generally like to waste time, I am glad you are ready."Nasira said she was blunt about it at least but she still seemed over all just a woman of few words and did not seem to be too rude.

But then she with out much else thought was already starting to head towards the exit to continue on."Unless any final things you need to be sure of let's go."Nasira might have asked but it seemed to be a good thing to always ask.

Nasira was not thinking about the risk, She was thinking about the people that needed to be spared from being bled from vampires. But that was just her internal thoughts. But as she was leaving Vex, Nasira then offer to shake her hand."Since this is the first time I am around you one on one. I am Nasira I am happy to work with you."Nasira even if in working mind set seemed to always have other things she kept in mind to do. They where guild mates she seemed to show signs of her being well meaning and wanted them to continue being people who would work with one another and know each other. But Nasira did keep it simple for the moment.

Vex shook the woman's hand as there was much that needed to be done and she hurries back into attacking the vampires as there was trouble and they were going to have to keep pushing forward and not just get there. They were gonna need to get into the cave where other were yelling from. Her bow kept firing off water arrows and she was not going to stop for the time as they needed to make an opening and she was not fully sure how strong Nasira was but she had faith in her and hoped that the other woman could keep herself in good class as they fought through the trouble and blood lusting vampires. She could hear as their guildmates were screaming and fighting as well and she was not going to let them all die in vein and they were going to be remembered if they did die as Vex was going to find out what was going on here and this was not something that she was going to back down from as there are many things and people to save with this.

Vex was making ground while working with her team mate in Nasira and she was glad to have a strong woman like Nasira, as she didn't seem to only relay on her magic but also her physical strengths which to Vex was very impressive and that was something else that was helping to push vex to keep fighting. "Are you hurt or do you need healing?" Vex figured that she should ask now as they were in a safer place with guild mates around them.

They seemed to have gotten where the matter lied pretty quickly over all seemed that Nasira and Vex where already working towards being a pretty good pair to work these things. But this was Nasira if anything she would try and do these things to herself not matter what whenever she could. Only because she was more worried about other people being safe, Vex seemingly had been able to handle that herself and over all.

They where here to deal with vampires and if anything Nasira seemed almost fearless, but also weaponless. But between the minimal spells she could figure out to use, punches and kicks with a bit of fire would in fact make things work out in the end. Nasira was starting to feel like she was lack luster in these matters because there was plenty of better mages out there that are not Nasira herself. But Nasira was too honest with herself she did not care at all who was better then her she will do and be better eventually, she just needed to try hard enough. That was how Nasira was she was just striding to continue on and thus fuel-ed her own fire so to say.

Was she hurt? not that she was aware of. So she would look at herself for a moment."I don't think I am? did something happen?"Nasira asked because she was not too sure unless Nasira missed something she was seemingly okay. At least she thought anyway.

Vex looked over the woman and she didn't see anything that had happened to her but she had wanted to make sure as she is not sure what breed of vampire these are and if they had any hidden nasty effects that they could cause at range and she is one of the higher ranked people if not the highest ranked member of the guild so it fell to her to be the pillar to keep the guild up as she was the one that was above the others but she knows that doesn't make her better then them. She was just the one with the weight of the guild weighing on her shoulders and that was a thing that she was going to have to make sure that she could keep lifted on her back as she was going to need to keep her self sharp as she kept watch for more vampires. Vex could feel like they were being watched but she was not sure from where they were being watched from and she scanned the area but she didn't see anything or any one.

A shadow near Nasira shifted under the trees and swiftly moved toward Nasira on the ground and from the shadow a vampire popped out to attack Nasira, the vampire looked different than a normal vampire and was coming at Nasira with its claws ready to slash Nasira. Vex was too late to see it and she couldn't react to it as it was too close to her and she wouldn't be able to turn and fire her bow fast enough and Nasira was going to have to defend herself from the attack as Vex's barrier spell would not activate fast enough to protect her. The vampire spoke as it attacked. "You are far too slow and we will not fail!"

The only problem talking before taking action was it made a person who was far more willing to prepare for reactions. like grabbing a vampire as quickly as she could and throwing them to the ground. And doing as many things she could to make sure it was on fire. You know normal things you do for vampires."One shouldn't speak so quickly." To see Nasira curb stomp some one with a trail of fire with in a moment after wards is something interesting.

But they had to continue on. There was more to do after all there was still things to best and people to protect all seemingly normal for the both of them at this time. After the curb stomp Nasira seemingly over all was far more willing to protect other then spare any vampire a chance to get back up. She crushed it's head. But this showed Nasira did not know how vampires work quite yet. But still Nasira would rid things being with seemingly over all effective methods for the meaning to make sure everyone was safe. It seemed to be her only worry at this time. It was a very fixed mind set.

Akiza wondered how little she knew about this other woman that she had no idea that she could fight like that as yes she was built like a goddess but the movement and the ruthlessness that she had just displayed. Vex walked over and drove a steak into the vampire as it's body had started to recover a bit as she was not going to risk her getting attacked again. Vex looked at the woman and she smiled at her. "Seems I might have underestimated you a little. Good work remind me that I owe you dinner some time." She was being serious as she needed to make sure that she gets to better know this woman but she now needed to refocus and she starts firing more arrows into a random way and they hit the ground in shadows and screams are heard that meant that the vampires were starting to upgrade and use stronger tactics and that was a scary idea that they are starting to advance and grow as the fight goes on.

Akiza keeps full body shields on herself and Nasira so they will remain protected and at far less risk of them getting stabbed in the chest or in the back as she kept her bow firing and not allowing herself to rest and get torn apart by the fearsome monsters that had been coming from the cave and she knows that they need to get inside and find out if there was a nest or if there was more inside that they needed to learn about but for now those that were in front of them.

There was always a good thing with teamwork it showed many things, since she was showing over all it was a meaning Nasira took her work seriously, hence why she acted might have seem brutal but this was about protecting the people so that was important, Defeat or kill the enemy. This was about saving the people and nothing else. This was doing something effective over all. At least some one was prepared for the finishing blows. Nasira was over all too focused on other things. Even making sure that Vex was not at risk of being attacked by anything too.

If anything her mind was not entirely focused on finishing the foes as much as she was just wanting to keep them in control."Work and a meal? Maybe this isn't all that horrible for everyone."Nasira said about it because it was a fairly quick remark that did not require her to say much.

Vex pushed herself back a bit and he lets loose some more arrows and she keeps hitting targets and that doesn't stop as her gear helps her to keep hitting the targets as she was not going to give up as they started to near the opening to the cave and she keeps her eyes open and draws her Daggers as they were going to have to fight in a close space so the bow would no longer be able to be used and that means that she will have to dual wield her daggers and fight at close range. "Nasira watch our back, I will fight what comes in front of us." Akiza spoke clearly to make sure that Nasira understood that it is important what she was asked to do.

Vex kept her daggers at the ready as they are attacked and she has to keep them away from the woman that was following behind her and that was a big thing for her as the woman behind her was a good person and she was not going to lose here as she kept pushing to get them deeper into the cave as the vampires seemed to have been getting weaker as they go and she wondered if it was because the strong ones went out to fight with the other random and strong guild members that were out side of the cave fighting. She hopes that the woman behind her can keep their backs safe as the keep going deeper.

It was a good warning, almost one seemingly over all almost like she did not listen but she was. Nasira worked in odd ways and almost seemingly did things her own way that might not right away make sense. She would eventually start watching the back, only because she was tracking what she could pick up with her ears. After all Vampires hid in the dark. So she would just have to be ready much like Vex was for these situation.

Nasira was training to adjust her means of detect the things she was looking for constantly almost like she was trying to train herself on the fly. It was risky but there was something to benefit from it hopefully. But if anything Nasira was for the moment not doing much but she was worried about some one making a swing at Vex while she was handling things well herself. So far this went off with out a problem. But Nasira had a feeling these vampires where not going to give up anytime soon if they kept at the pace they where or something else was going to be thrown at them.

Eventually as she waited she would eventually do something when she seemingly just grabbed a vampire out of no where that was sneaking up behind them and seemingly pulled it down from it's leap and deal with it accordingly. All and all seeming things where going as planned here. Nasira and Vex would be getting through this just fine.

Vex looked around as they came to the end of the tunnel and there was a paper there that detailed that this had been a planned attack and Vex turns to the other woman and she speaks. "This is deeper than just a random attack... We have to go and fast to report this." Vex dusted herself off and she makes orbs of water and void and she makes them luminate the cave as she looks for any more details on the inside of the cave and she knows that they need to get going and then report but she wanted to make sure that they have all the details that they can get before she does this as there is still a lot at stake here and that was something that they needed to make sure was taken care of swiftly but Vex was also a bit uneasy at how easy it was to find this paper and why was it here if they were attacking as it showed more area's that have planned attacks and why they are being attacked. Vex once happy that they had found all the pieces grabs Nasira's hand and pulls her along with her as she hurried out of the cave to try and see if they can find an answer to the reasons why they had ended up here and why the vampires were going crazy and attacking innocent people and places.

Vex most likely has a point, Over all it seemed the volume and how strong in terms of levels of the vampires it seemed if anything strong then any simple moment of just happen stance. But she did have to ponder just how long in depth would this go and far right back did they need to trail into? over all a good question. They would make a report but Nasira also had to ponder what else could happen here and it would be a deep linger with in her thoughts.

they are where checking things over and looking up what all had been done Nasira seemed to be lost in her thoughts and making sure to remember them well, She was fixated on defending and did not think to bring note books or anything to record the happenings here and she was unsure how else to feel at this point. Maybe aside from thinking about defending her guild members and but at this point Nasira also noted she was okay and Vex was okay as well so this situation went as well as it could have with them.

The they would have to consider other things and as they started leaving, But that Nasira more considering what she could find to kill vampires. Normally there are people who deal with this and not her and it was not something common in her things to deal with.

Nasira had many thoughts on her mind while this was all winding down Nasira kind of not really paying attention much more to the things going around with her. Some one grabbed her hand and started walking. Thus Narisa started walking forward as well. It was just different as Nasira expected something different over all. Thus as she walked whatever way Vex was bringing her.

Now Nasira was pondering if Vex did that with everyone. Even then why did Nasira not attempt to resist this, it was an odd thing that most of the time Nasira did not try or expect it but also expect Vex to do being this either. But alas Nasira came to learn something this day.
