Dan yawned as he opened the door of his magic car and slowly stepped out into the morning humidity of the Great Baska Rock as he prepared for the tournament that would be held here today. Dan was getting a bit bored during his vacation so he decided to enter to alleviate said boredom. As Dan walked up to the table to register he took the time to look around him in order to scope out his potential opponents. As his eyes scanned the horizon he saw a familiar face in the crowd. 'Is that Zeke Black over there?' Zeke was a mage of the Crimson Tear dark guild that was wanted for a variety of crimes including Kidnapping and Murder. Deciding to keep his distance for now but keep an eye on Zeke Dan finished his form to sign up and headed inside to await his match to be called.

Dan didn't have to wait long as only a few minutes later he heard a voice over the intercom system say "Will fighters thirty one and seventy seven please come to ring four I repeat Will fighters thirty three and seventy seven please come to ring four." Dan looked down at his number to see thirty one in bold writing. 'Well guess I'm up' Dan thought as he quickly walked to the ring around the corner. As he entered the area of ring four he looked to see a large man with a mohawk and a biker jacket. 'Hmm some of the local rabble I assume' Dan thought as he adjusted Galantine at his side before nodding to the referee that he was ready to begin. The bell rang and the man quickly charged at Dan full speed however before he could do anything Dan quickly threw a punch in his midsection knocking all the air out of his lungs causing him to quickly pass out.

Dan couldn't help the feeling of slight disappointment that went through his body as the mohawk wearing man was escorted from the ring by medical officialsm. Dan knew the man would be fine as he made sure to hold the majority of his strength back during the punch and only used just enough force to knock him unconscious. Dan sighed as he walked back to prepare for his next match. As Dan walked back to the stands to watch his competition he felt somebody staring at the back of his head 'oh so I caught Zeke's attention did I?' Dan thought as he caught the sight of the dark mage looking at him intently from the corner of his right eye. It wasn't long before the intercom blared once more "will fighters thirty one and sixty four please report to ring three I repeat will fighters thirty one and sixty four please report to ring three." The announcer stated as Dan stood and walked away.

As Dan approached the ring he caught sightbof his opponent for the first time. The man was shorter then Dan's own height but looked to be stronger then his last opponent. Dan caught the site of one of the smaller less known guilds called God's Thumb on his left bicep and knew he would need more then just a normal punch for this guy unlike his last opponent. As the bell rang Dan grips his fists creating a mixed yellow and purple spell circle 0.25-Meter in Diameter to appear on the fists and any equipment causing the fists to become covered in black lightning. Dan waited for a moment before exploding forwards and quickly punching the man in the jaw allowing the ebony lightning to quickly shock the man. Then before the man can recover from the stun Dan quickly grabs his shirt and hip tosses him to the outside getting a ring out.

Dan sighed as he shook his head 'Another disappointment sadly' he thought as he quickly returned to the waiting area to await his next calling to the ring. 'I had high hopes coming here but honestly I'm starting to get a bit bored' Dan thought quietly to himself as another match concluded on the monitor in front of him. Dan watched as Zeke entered the ring for his match up for round two. The guy looked to be in his mid thirties who seemed to practice some form of martial arts seemingly giving him a decent body. Dan watched with a slight grimace as Zeke picked the man apart slowly with a look of glee as he does his magic to continue to blow the man around before finally slamming him into the ring making a loud crack as the man spine snapped leaving the man to quietly moan in pain.

Dan felt his eyes widen in anger as he could feel small jolts of ebony lightning run across his clenched hands before taking a deep breath and attempting to calm himself. Dan knew that he would get his chance to deal with Zeke soon enough as he continued to advance through the ranks of the tournament. Dan soon heard his number called and proceeded to go to the ring to see a older female waiting. As Dan was only partially successful in calming himself he decided to end this as quickly as he could to make sure he didn't go to far and injure his opponent. Dan holds his hand flat in front of him causing a mixed yellow and purple spell circle 0.25-Meters Diameter to appear on the palm of his hand causing his hand to become engulfed in black lightning before quickly charging forwards at full speed and throwing a knife hand chop into the back of her neck sending her into dream land.

After a few more rounds Dan was finally standing across from Zeke as the finals began not wasting any time and also not wanting to give Zeke a chance to defend himself Dan begins by rubbing his shoes back and forth along the ground creating a pair of mixed yellow and purple spell circles 0.5-Meters in Diameter to appear below his feet causing his legs to be engulfed in black lightning giving him a speed boost as he charged forwards then Dan claps his hands together before separating them a pair of mixed yellow and purple magic circles 0.5-Meters in Diameter appear on his palms before beginning engulfed in black lightning. Dan began sliding around Zeke quickly to employ his combined technique to quickly stun that man until he lost consciousness. Dan quickly dismissed his techniques as the announcer declared his win. Dan quickly called the rune knights to pick up Zeke before returning to his hotel room.
