He needed to carry extra weight for more food and supplies, and he had to make sure now that he was alone he picked good and safe locations to rest. Though truly was he ever alone? Beelzebub was always there, always watching and always commanding further commitment for more of his power. Knuckles at this point, was ready to send a village to the alter to gain the power he sought to finally become strong enough to become a man of legend. It was true that he had not won many of his fights since he had left his hometown, but it was also true that most of the people he fought were way out of his league. Those who were within the ballpark of his current power he was able to beat and win like that one wolf girl he beat back in that bar. He had come close to beating Jikan for Guild master too. Sadly, he had lost and during the raid of Paradise Dawn, he had fought their Ace and had been shown how outclassed he was by being beaten in a single attack from the enemy Yuurei. During his Travels from the West to the East he had turned over every action during that scenario and found his actions were without fault, he had just been lacking in power. In a way, he was happy he had to walk everywhere now so that this would increase his stamina and strength for battles. After a week of walking and using his wings to fly when needed, he had made it. Once there he headed to the job board, he needed to earn some coin.
