Name: Secrets of the Rikkudo Sennin

Difficulty: Long

Participants: Ghost, Kairaiko

Story:
That Joya is a country of countless folklore and myths is no secret, but the enigmatic powers of the Joyan Shinobi on the other hand are secrets people would kill to obtain information on. According to rumors, there are several clans within Joya that possess unique powers similar to magic, and yet somewhat different.

Lost and in search of a power to claim truly his own the wandering guild mage Ghost encounters an enigmatic merchant from Joya who offers him an unforgettable adventure... for a price

Objective:
  • A - Lost and tormented at his lack of power Ghost hears rumors of a Joyan merchant who seems to peddle in both information and artifacts, but little does he expect that meeting Kairaiko will lead him on an adventure unlike anything he experienced before!

  • A - Having been offered the services of a guide, Ghost and Kairaiko travel to the country of Joya where the duo ends up searching for an old contact of Kairaiko who seemingly knows a lot about Joyan folklore. However, the information broker is being targeted by several clanless shinobi who seek to obtain the same information the duo seeks!

  • A - Having fended off the shinobi the duo comes to encounter the information broker Oboro who rewards their timely rescue with an ancient scroll. The scroll is supposed to contain instructions on how to find a famous master of Joyan magic, so called 'Ninjutsu'. However, the scroll needs to be decoded, and while Kairaiko is confident in her ability to decipher the scroll she will need time. Surely enemies will attempt to obtain the scroll during this time, so show your power Ghost and defend Kairaiko!

  • A - Finally having deciphered the origins of the scroll Kairaiko seems startled at the revelation that the scroll leads to a hideout of an elderly sage, not even sure if the man is still alive or not the duo decides to risk it either way and traverse the wilderness, led by the scroll in their possession.

  • S - It appears Ghost and Kairaiko will have to overcome a mysterious group of guardians of the sage who block their path. Uncertain whether they are friend or foe, face the apprentices of the Rikkudo Sennin!

  • S - Cornered and on the brink of defeat, the two travelers are pushed to their limit when without any warning an unexpected ally arrives in the form of a martial-arts wielding panda? Given a bowl of ramen that contain an oddly regenerative property Ghost is given an opportunity to fight a second bout with the apprentices of the Rikkudo Sennin!

  • S - Finally having bested the Six apprentices Ghost and Kairaiko are given an audience with the Rikkudo Sennin, who unfortunately has tragic news to deliver. It seems Ghost is incompatible with the art of Ninjutsu, and while Kairaiko is of Joyan ancestry and has the potential, her disability would make it nearly impossible by normal means. However, to reward the two for their efforts the sage offers them a powerful gift
