RingFinally, in the clear of anyone that might have linked him to the incident, the informant called for his mount on top of the cliffs to their getaway semi-faster. As the griffon circled above him the sounds of metal grinding against itself echoed Welp guess that's our queue, he thought jumping off the cliff and onto the mount.
Just as he had always done Azure made detailed notes about the event and the information that had been gathered thus far. Part of him had started to doze off while the other did its best to try and remain awake until they returned to Central at the very least. By the time the capital was within view keeping his eyes open had become a chore but this feeling of wanting to sleep felt unnatural in some way.
Landing back in central all that he could think of was how the flight back was much longer than expected but with all the excitment of the day everything had started to catch up with them "Oh man I didn't think I would be this tried after all this." The inn was a sight for sore eyes as the sandman had finally managed to weaken him down enough to just want to sleep once getting into his room.
