Emil woke with a roar and a want to clean up the north as it was time once again to take on some more rats and other things he goes to the request board and he finds a Request and he knows that he wants to earn some good jewels so he reaches for the well paying requests near the top but not the top top as he is still not allowed to take from there even though he is one of the more shining of stars in this whole damn place his guild master will not promote him to S yet saying he is still not ready he has a god in his soul that gives him power how in the hell was he not ready for being at the top of the card this must be some stupid joke his guild master thinks is funny of his brother told Yuurei to hold him back because he was starting to catch up too swiftly.

Emil knows his brother is probably jealous of him for instead of throwing a gem into his body and making himself look strange shirtless that he is still flawless and electrifying to the ladies even if him and his ex wife are working on it, he could have any beautiful woman of his choosing if he wanted so she should be feeling lucky and blessed that he was still bothering with her even though she left him when he needed her support most. Emil starts on his way to the clients home Indi hurrying to catch up to Emil who had left him behind without even noticing cause he was so absorbed in himself that he had lost sight of what was going on around himself just his own thought of how great he was, where the only things besides the quest that was buzzing in his one track mind.

Emil looks down and notices Indi. "Good you found the time not to be kissing my Ex wife's ass to come wioth me." Emil laughs at his own words and Indi just sighs as it seemed that Holly had not approved of him just taking off with the children to a Halloween themed town without telling her that he was going there so she was mad at Emil and Indi for pulling that stunt and just taking off even though Indi really didn't have a choice cause if he had stopped to question it he would have just been left behind and if that happened who would have been watching after the trouble Emil and the twins seem to make in their wake. Indi hadn't argued his innocence since he figured Holly knows he was just being dragged along but she is making sure that Emil is being kept on a very short leash and was not allowed to just wonder off with the twins again especially after they spoke of a zombie woman that Emil talked to in a funny language.

Indi guessed that Holly had gotten jealous even though she and he are not currently together, they see the house coming up and Emil tells Indi to not make him look bad as they needed the jewels and things as Holly was always the one that looked after the jewels and back accounts so once she wasn't there to make sure that he wasn't over spending and keeping them on budget Emil burned through his jewels like it was some piss warm ale at the last stop for one hundred miles. Indi sees Emil standing taller and making himself look bigger so he can look good to the client and land the deal though the lady at the desk that approved of him taking this quest didn't look super thrilled that he was taking it. Indi could only guess that Emil had gotten more actual credible complaints that came in against him or maybe she was just straight up tired of his shit.

Emil knocked on the door and he shows his guild mark toward the doors peek hold so they know which guild he is from and that he was here for the quest they had put out and they woman that answered the door looked like a woman in her mid twenties and she looked like she might be an actress. She blushed at seeing Emil who was semi-flexing. The woman looked him over then looked to Indi and she looked like she was in heaven at the sight of them both and she gets down to business that her families shop is in dire need of help as they were getting over run by rats they think that a competitor had lured to their shop through the sewers but they can't prove it and the rats are very nasty and strong so she warns them and Emil just smirks and uses a cool guy strong voice saying he will have them handled in no time and be right back to her.

The woman turned tomato red from his words and Indi figures this woman had just got sent into full fantasy mode but little does she know that Emil is really the dragon in her princess story and not the knight in shining armor there to save her but he wasn't going to say that out loud and get a job pulled away from Emil and himself her and who knows maybe she would pay more after he had already finished off the quest or maybe this woman might be wife number two, though that doesn't matter right now they just need to get to doing the mission and if Emil wants this ladies pants after the job is done. Emil does the cool guy thing and speak to Indi like he was a trusted partner and they head off from the woman's home and start heading toward the shop to start clearing it out for her and her family.

Emil got to the door and he opens it and he can hear the rats milling about inside of the shop and he readies his gauntlets making them arc with lightning and he looks around as the rats begin their defense of their new home and Emil starts counting the rats as he runs past them and smashing the rats that dare to jump up at him as he is making his way through the shop Indi is surprised at how pumped up that Emil was as he kept fighting and not giving up and not laying down and dying, that woman going doe eyed at him must have given him more of a boost than Indi had thought that it could really give him but he guessed the man's ex had been sort of draining the wind from his sails so Indi guessed this was a good change and this seemed more like the old Emil that he knew.

Emil is arc lightning and only taking out the rats it seemed Emil had gotten more use to refining and controlling this stronger lightning magic that he now possessed and use to wield like a child without a care maybe he just liked this new woman so he was making extra sure not to hurt the shop or anything in it besides the rats that he was told to get rid of to let them be able to open their shop back up and Emil wondered if there was more to the story that had been told to him but he didn't care as long as he got this job done as perfectly as he can so he can prove he deserved Yuurei to update his rank and give him his rightful rank of at least S rank and maybe give him a personal assistant. Emil keeps his lightning flowing as he makes his way to the basement.

Emil makes his way down the stairs rats getting the ever living hell out of themselves and into the basement, Emil starts to clean up all the rats that kept coming as he makes the AoE cage of lightning as the were falling from all angles as the cage tore them apart. He gets to the way into the sewer he has Indi ride on his back as he was pretty much immune to his own magic so he can weather the charge of his lightning which was one of the things he had no fear of was his own lightning and he cuts through the rats in his way and he finds and he kills the leader of the rats then he gets out of the sewer closing the way they had made into the shop and then he heads back for the woman's home so he can get paid and he ends up staying there longer.
