Modification“And that’s it…” Xerxes says as he places the lasts of his belongings in black duffle bag. He stood in the now empty room, minus the bed that was there from the beginning, and takes it all in. He had spent quite some time in the guild, made some great friends, and had adventures and experiences that will undoubtedly shape the rest of his life and further his aspirations. But, as with everything in life, all good things must come to an end. For his time in Orchidia, today was that time. He had already bid farewell to members of the guild though he hadn’t seen Ikazuchi yet. Given that Ikazuchi was still resting when Xerxes went out for training that morning, he figured that his comrade had not returned from his own yet. Scribbling the sentence ‘I’m going to kick your ass next time we meet.’, Xerxes places it on Ikazuchi’s bed before returning to his own room. He takes a deep sigh, taking one final look around before grabbing his bag. He taps on the door frame one last time before exiting, knowing that he very well may never see this room again. After finishing up his goodbyes, Xerxes faces the road ahead. The trip was surprisingly quick, Xerxes meeting quite a few interesting people on his journey. Before long, Xerxes finds himself near the Grand Cathedral of Crocus, a magnificent structure made of pure marble. The Desiertian took the sights in stride, noting that this was the first time he’d ever seen a structure like this. “Come on Daisuke, we’re going to be late.” A feminine voice rings out. “Relax Misora. We got time before father’s ceremony and Era isn’t that far away. We’ll make it in plenty of time before his Rune Knight ceremony. Come on sis, let’s live a little and explore.” A male voice accompanies it. Xerxes turns around and sees two silver-haired individuals walking towards his direction. Their appearances were strikingly similar, Xerxes immediately guessing that they are siblings. They were both dressed in formal attire with the woman holding a small wrapped present. As they passed, the male locks eyes with Xerxes, the Desiertian feeling an overwhelmingly otherworldly power radiating from both. The male smiles warmly at Xerxes before the two continue “Seems that my coming to Central as a good idea after all.” He smiles as he heads towards Batra’s Inn.
