Nana

RAID CASH HOUSE!

Cue the music:
Nana looked slightly confused as she stood in the street. She held a piece of paper in her hand that marked a specific building on a street of Oak. The paper in her hand was actually a map- not too well detailed. Nana looked hard at the map and began to doubt the authenticity of the thing. If it was wrong, it wouldn't be her fault.. She just wished to not fail in her objective. She prided herself in accomplishing most quests to the clients' specifications whenever possible. "Well I guess this place does seem odd." she said to herself, admitting even a little that the map may indeed be right, or at least a close mark.

The green haired girl looked about first to make sure no one was watching her as she crossed the street and made her way towards the building- a rune down and closed diner. The time of day was evening and visibility was dim in this section of town. She had little trouble crossing the street and up to the diner without trouble. She grabbed the handle and tugged slightly, only to check. Locked. Of course it would be locked. If the amount of jewels hidden in this building was true- of course there was no way it would be unlocked. Rather... there was no way it wouldn't be monitored either.

Nana knew it was possible she would be subject to suspicion once she came close to the diner. She would devalue some of that suspicion by going to the side of the old diner and retrieve a can of spray paint. Vandalism. A petty and harmless crime that some folks liked to do just for the sake of art or other silly notions. After doing a little doodle, she would stow the can in her pocket and go around back of the diner. She ducked between two trashcans next to a window- she waited several moments but no one came to check around. Assuming it was safe, she would stand and break a small panel of the glass window. Reaching inside, she would unlock the latch and open the window.

Allowing herself inside, she would look about. This diner had seen better days, for certain. All that was left was to find the jewels and make a clear statement. She walked about carefully in the diner as her eyes studied the interior with dim lighting. Her eyes could see perfectly fine. She checked under some of the tables, removed a few seats and checked behind the counters. She also looked in the basement but found nothing. Finally, she took a closer look at the diner's main room. The majority of the building was in shambles and dusty, but there was one spot that seemed more pristine than the rest. Curious.

Nana reached low and smashed the tile on the floor with her fist. beneath was revealed to be a bag. She tugged on it, it had some weight to it. She unzipped it slightly and grinned. "Bingo." she would say as her eyes gleamed at the amount of jewels stowed inside. She took the bag and slung it over her shoulder. She retrieved the stowed can of spray paint and went to the kitchen area. She found a frying pan and placed it on the stove. She set the paint can inside the frying pan and clicked the knob on the stove. Sparks blinked and a fire was born beneath the frying pan. Satisfied with her word, she would exit the diner slowly just as the can inside exploded. The fuel of the can would ignite and feed the open flame of the stove and quickly spread to engulf the diner.

Nana was as inconspicuous as possible, even as a crowd began to gather. She waded her way through the people. Despite being a barren street, there were way too many onlookers and it made it difficult for Nana to escape unhindered. Someone bumped into her and she felt a weight lift- the weight of straps from the bag of jewels! She turned her head, ready for a fight... but the culprit had already disappeared into the crowd. She swore to herself, eager to begin bloodshed. She changed her mind however. If she acted rash in this situation, someone might call the rune knights on her.
