Hitomi Minamoto †
Hitomi walked through the doors of the Swineherd Pub, draped in dark clothes that would obscure her face but not her figure. She kept her head down low as the darkness from the night vanished behind her and the warm light of the pub washed over her. The familiar sounds and scents would have at one point put her at ease but now they put her on edge. There was a contract on her head and after the stunt she pulled at the Eternal Nightmare guildhall she had the audacity to show up at the guildmaster's pub, the very same guildmaster that she had backstabbed not once but twice. It was a bold move for sure but there was too much money to be bad in oak not to get a slice of the pie. Calling over the barkeeper but never lifting her head in fear of it being Odin, she ordered a beer with a straw to sip from so she wouldn't have to look whoever was about to server her in the eyes.

Nana

Nana was doing her typical aloof thing around the town of Oak. She was usually known to be around even if one did not see or hear her, that was just her way of things. It was just like any other evening to her- hiding in the most bizarre locations, reading a book or even napping. Usually she was reading a book however. She kept to herself a lot even though she was always quick with a cheerful and boisterous personality. Reading was one of her few healthy hobbies and she had learned that it kept her out of trouble that she would normally find herself in.

She had grown up on the streets and became a pickpocket at a very young age. She knew every corner and street of Oak town, as well as many of the frequent visitors to various stores and pubs.

She was no longer a mere thief, no. She was a member of Eternal Nightmare- a dark guild of quite the renown... Or infamy, depending on who you asked. The green haired girl had been unofficially adopted by members of the guild shortly after its founding. Nana had grown up the last few years under the guidance and parenting of many guild members. She knew many of the new and old members alike, by name and face- even if she hadn't gone out of her way to speak to them or be known by them. In fact, it was not until very recently that she had been officially accepted and recognized as a member and no longer a child.

The town of Oak was Eternal Nightmare's stomping grounds. If a stranger looked around, they might easily spot a member of the guild without realizing it. Of course some members were too obvious, or maybe their appearance just screamed 'dark mage'. Nana was not one of these. She looked out of place even amongst most of her guild. Although she was abandoned at a young age, the sense of a 'kunoichi' had been instilled upon her impressionable mind as a child by both of her parents and their heritages. She dressed like a ninja, though parts of her garb was revealing in the areas where it counted most. Most notably, Nana wore a mask that hid the lower half of her face. Few people indeed had ever seen Nana's face- fewer whom were alive to tell it.

Such was Nana's appearance, as she lay leisurely atop a long and thick rafter that loomed over the patrons of the pub. the smells of foods and alcohol found their way through her mask and occasionally distracted her from the book she was reading. It was one of these common yet subconscious breaks she took from her reading, that she gazed down and spotted a hooded figure enter the pub and take a suspicious position and demeanor. Acting mysterious in this town would get you more attention than avoiding it. she thought to herself as she looked on, only half interested in the identity of this shrouded figure. Still, the night was young and most of the regulars of the pub had yet to arrive. Nana was bored, so she tentatively closed her book and tucked it away in a hiding spot. She rolled over onto her tummy and gazed down curiously at the stranger sipping their drink through a straw. She grinned- not the innocent kind. The unhinged kind of grin that was usually the beginnings of where her troubles began. Now she just had to know who was hiding beneath the cowl of intrigue.

Hitomi Minamoto †
She needed that. It took the edge right off for what she had to do now. Placing down some jewels for the barkeep who thankfully wasn't Odin thanks to his hands being human like and not skeleton like when he pushed her the drink. Sliding out of her chair Hitomi couldn't help but feel like she was being watched. Honestly she was sure she was being watched by at least a few people in the pub but this felt like someone was really staring her down. This is not something she enjoyed and one of the reasons she was leaving much sooner than she wanted too. Taking in a deep breathe before she stepped out of the door of the Pub she would take in all the scents of the patrons, each one very different from the last. For whatever reason, maybe a gut feeling, she was sure she would find out who was watching her today on a different day.

Nana

Nana's prey was too on edge, even as Nana's curiosity had began to peak- her target was already willing to leave. Maybe the cowled fiure simply had a wet throat and needed a drink to ease their tension for the night. Or maybe that had felt the lingering eyes of the daemon girl and wished to be free of her gaze. In either case, Nana was wise enough to know when wasn't the right time to follow someone. "Well, I guess there will always be a next time." she said from her spot in the rafters.

There was only a few things left to do. Nana leapt down from her rafter and entered the seat that the mysterious figure had been sitting at. She bent low and sniffed the seat and everything else the figure had touched. She wanted to remember this scent in case she ever ran into this person again. Fairly certain it had been a female, that narrowed down her suspects by half(of the world). Nana continued to sit in the stranger's seat for several minutes, mimic'ing their every move and every direction their head had turned to look about the room.  Between the cowl and their actions, Nana was fairly certain that the person had not wanted their identity to be exposed. That only made Nana more curious, but she sighed and let it go for the time being.
