ManaIt had been some time since the Encan had last stepped outside Baska. Truthfully, it felt as if his time up North was nothing more than a dream. Aki had heard rumors here and there of the disbandment of his former guild, Sentinel Syndicate, and his former guild master's abdication. That alone spiked his curiosity about the current state of the place he once called home. He had wondered how his former peers were doing, or more importantly, what they were doing nowadays.
Aki rose out of bed and slipped on a pair of fuzzy socks. As of late, he had been staying at an inn in Baska's Square. His room was far from anything special, but it had the necessities: a bathroom, kitchen, and a bed. He held his hand against his forehead, indicating that he must have gotten up too quickly. "Dammnit." Aki said out of frustration.
He went to the fridge for a glass of water. "I wonder whatever happened to that poor soul that got captured by a Magic Knight, too." he thought to himself. The details of that day were fuzzy, but Aki recalled the man saying he was from a guild called Eternal Nightmare. "Maybe I should stop by the North." he said.
