Caius had finished his quest in Astrea so now he was back in Baska. The work was coming in hot so he was sitting at the request board and was drinking some whisky. Right now it was only low level work with no S rank quests for him which are the quests he normally took but he would settle for an A rank quest. The secretary would then go to the board and then she would find one that specifically requested him and would hand him the request sheet and he would take a sip and would start to look over the request that was given to him. Caius saw it was for the Baska tournament that he had won earlier in the month and it was with new challengers looking to take his title. Apparently when he was gone there was a guy who declared himself new champion. Caius stood up to go to the tournament facility and see this man for himself.

Caius would continue to walk over to the tournament facility and then he would open the doors and he would head inside. The men would recognize him and call him champion as he headed to the front desk. There was another group of men who said he was fake and were giving him the thumbs down so he would just ignore them. He headed to the coordinator and then he would ask him who this new champ was and then he would see that he had defeated 10 people in a row when he was gone and then he would have the highest streak and then he would be more of a champion than Caius. He would then go and head outside and see the champion in a fight right now. It was a good way to scout to see what he was made out of if Caius had to fight him for this request.

Caius
Caius then was outside at the fighting arena and then he would watch the champion. He was very big and strong but he was very slow. Caius watched him throw hands with the man in the arena. The man he was facing had a sword while the champion was bare handed. Caius thought he champion was a moron as the man with the sword would charge in and swing his blade down. The champion would catch the blade with his hands and lift the challenger up and toss him to the ground. He would pick up the sword and then he would swing the sword at the challenger and then he would strike the man's neck and then he would cut through his neck and then he would cut his head off and it would go flying and then he would point at Caius saying he was next as he tossed the sword to the ground.

Caius would just laugh at the man because he was going to throw him the trash. There was no way he would be able to beat an S rank mage like him with just a plain old sword. Caius however would entertain the crowd and would hype them up for the fight so they at least got their money's worth. Caius would get more popular and get paid more the more he came here which would help fuel his empire. Caius would then stand in the ring and point at him and tell the fake champ that he would whoop his ass and the crowd would go wild. Caius would then assume a fighting stance as the fake champ would raise his sword. The announcer would then start to hype them both up and then would get ready to fight. The crowd went to the stalls to start placing bets as the bell rang.

The fake champion would start to talk some smack to Caius and would tell him he could run away if he wanted and then he would wait for Caius to respond and then he would see Caius tell him he wasn't going anyway and that he was going to whoop his ass backwards and then he would toss him off the cliff onto the spikes like the last people he fought and then he would see the champion start to get mad and then he would raise his sword and then he would rush Caius and then he would say that he was going to kill him and then he would reach Caius after running and then he would swing his sword down and then he would see Caius jumped out of the way to dodge it and then he would raise his sword again and chase Caius to finish him off.

The fake champion took his sword and would swing at Caius again and then he would tell him that he was dead this time and then he would slash at his neck but Caius would duck and dodge it and then he would transform into a demon to buff his stats and then he would see his eyes glow red and then he would see the wings sprout from his back and then he would see his arms and legs turn black. and then he would sweep the leg and then he would knock the fake champion down and then he stand up and then he would raise his foot and then he would stomp on the champions neck and then he would crush his throat and then he would pick up the fake champion and then he would take him to the edge of the cliff and then he would toss him off the cliff and then he would watch him fall and then he would see him hit the spikes and die and then he would see the crowd cheer and then he would raise his hand in victory and then he would walk over to the prize table and then he would get his jewels and payment and then he would be done with this request. He would wait in town to see if more came up.
