Not by a longshot. While he doesn't outright smell, even his clothes weren't fashion conscious. He sports a scruffy dark dress shirt and trouser outfit. Kater would blend in with the streets, especially the rougher neighborhoods. But his alluring sharp eyes are the crème de la crème of keeping people from getting outright disgusted by his first-glance appearance. His hazel pair of eyes would wrap the gazes of anyone who would fall under them, though it would entirely depend on the individual if they would be curious enough to approach the man. Extra: a scar running around his neck PERSONALITY Personality: Contrary to Kater’s appearance, he does not have a mean streak to him. In fact, his most notable trait is his love to enrich people into seeing things with a different light. The man had the hobby of telling stories after finding a good spot in taverns, parks and main streets. To capture the attention of a crowd with his skill in storytelling, he would start with a single individual fortunate enough to be curious with him after gazing into his inviting gaze. Kater would then tell stories of myths and legends, particularly about the antagonists and villains of said stories. With his uncanny skill, he would weave the stories of said villains and tell them in such a way his audience would, not only see the point, but completely empathize with an otherwise hated individual. Even the lessons taken from the original tale, Kater would eventually leave his audience questioning its truth. This often leads to angering some of his crowd, but they would dare not leave without listening his tales to the end. Kater’s crowd would often leave afterwards with newfound wisdom and understanding about the story he had told, even if they would mutter dissatisfaction to his creative liberties to the tales he just told. The user must choose which spell-type e.g. Offensive, Defensive etc. Magic Description: Since the day Kater woke up to his amnesiac life he had no memory of the magic he had, felt it was present. It was one of the few things he was certain of. There was an unsettling air every time Kater would try and cast a spell. His magic was something tied to him being a Vampire and who he was before. He was fearful of this and did not want to remember anymore than what he already has. But time and fate had a cruel streak to them, and as this magic will grow so will Kater's past ghosts come to haunt him. HISTORY History: In the year x780, a man was found on the rougher parts of Crocus. He had a severe case dissociative amnesia. He also had no belongings save for the clothes on his back and the memory of feeling joy of finally being free. Anything else he could not remember about himself; no name, no papers to look for nor the money to hire someone to do so. Later, the man who found himself alone in the world discovered he was no mere mortal; he was a vampire and he had the uncanny ability of magic. The discovery changed his perception of his previous life, it filled him with dread. Whoever he was, he did not want to find out any more than he already discovered. In a tavern where he spent one of his lonely days, a patron passed by asking “Kater?” sending a chill down the man’s spine. Who was he? Did he know who he was? The man, it turned out, was asking if he was hungover. It was in his native tongue and the man thought he was from the same land as him, assuming from his pale skin. But the experience had since given him thought. The last memory he had was a feeling of achieving freedom, it should count for something. Was he trying to flee the life he lived when he still had his memory? If such was the case, he should not fear for life and move forward without looking back. Taking the stranger’s question and turning it into his new name, Kater moved town to town for work. He found himself very skilled in storytelling and became somewhat of a nomadic bard in the local towns. For more than a decade he had done so and found satisfaction in his work. But there was one aspect of himself he did wish to uncover: the extent of his vampiric nature and his magic.
