Emil wanted to see how the Magnolia Branch of Illumin handles themselves so he walks up to the Kardia Cathedral, liking how the church looks from the outside then he walks into the church and he sees the priest surrounded by a group of people and he looks like he has his hands full with all of them being at his side for help, the priest sees him and he walks over to Emil and he requests that Emil help him in handing out the medicine so these people can be treated in a more swift way, then him handing it out solo and not being able to help everyone who is suffering and in need right in front of his eyes, Emil says he will help and the priest hands Emil a share of the medicine to be able to hand out and the priest hand them form two lines.

The group of people in need split forming two lines and they all look like they are pretty beat down and needing to be treated fast if not with medicine then with faith that Illumin will be there to defend them from the plague that has befallen them making them be in a time of need. Emil is kind and gentle with the people and the medicine knowing that if he messes up and drops any that someone might have to go without it and that could mean they die or get worse and he doesn't need Tempris to know he goofed up and caused people to get worse in a house of Illumin, as well as not wanting to fail this request, and in turn fail Illumin in his own house of worship. Emil softly talks to some children that are refusing to take it cause it will taste bad.

”Even if it does taste bad you gotta be a big kid and drink it to recover.” The kids look at him, then they take the medicine and make funny faces and then wander off back to their parents who were already treated and were waiting for their children to be treated the priest, looks like he is making a decent dent in his line as well, Emil feels like he might be falling behind so he tries to get back into the swing of it after the children had slowed him down and he really has no more people that seem to slow him down besides the more aged people that he had to help to take it but he was not worried about it, cause he knows what he is doing is right at least for now. after he finishes his line he looks to the priest who is taking care of the last few that need his hand and Emil comes to him and helps get the last of the line done then he smiles at the priest who hands him a medicine as well which he takes making a funny face and the kids he had told before of it laugh at him cause even he made a face at it, the priest pays him and tells him to return soon and on that Emil leaves to find a place for the night.
