Knuckles Shi

Job:

Settling back into his Baaska home, Knuckles received a letter from the blacksmith he had helped out. His presence seemed to be requested back at the shop, though no details were in within the letter he figured it was something that needed to be done in person. Knuckles began his daily routine before setting on his gear. He made sure to polish all of the armor and weapons he currently had. There were a few things at the shop that he wanted so maybe the more he did for this blacksmith the better prices he could get. Once he was all done he gathered himself and his things and set out towards the shop.

It was an enjoyable walk, it was times such as this he thought a horse would be nice, but Fang was a much better companion to have for travel than some horse. Though maybe he could stable one here and ride it within the town. Soon enough, however, he would walk in and see that Godfrey was currently with a customer. Though he took notice of Knuckles entering right away. Knuckles walked over to the armors, some of them were magical and of which caught his eye more than anything.

When Greyford was done Knuckles waited for the blacksmith to approach him, when he did he shook Knuckles' hand placing a piece of parchment within his hand Knuckles did not take a look at it or even give a sign that he knew it was there. He only balled his hands up and folded his arms as he look back to the armor he had in mind. They discussed the price of the armor and how much he'd be willing to take off if Knux traded in his current armor. After coming to an agreeable price Knuckles informed him he would have to see to a matter first and then they could perform the exchange. He would rather use what he had currently rather than adjust to something new on the fly. With the two parties in agreement Knuckles bowed in respect and left the Blacksmith Greyford to his work. Knuckles exited the shop and moved down the block to a fruit stand before he removed the letter from his hand and opened it up to read it in full. Understanding what was being asked of him Knuckles could only chuckle. Had he become a sword for hire? He was getting more of these types of jobs now. He supposed it played into his dreams in some way, he could become a legend in this way.

Taking his leave he would head over to the address listed within the letter to get a bit of an idea of what was needed. Knuckles made his way slowly taking his time making sure he did not come off as a man on a mission but a man who was just traveling about. When he neared the home address Knux looked it over and admired it. There was another address listed on the letter with the picture he had to identify the man but since the leader had read that it needed to either look like an accident or at least not tied to Greyford, Knuckles thought the home would look best. Make it look like a robbery gone wrong was probably the best way to do it if he could not simply be pushed down some stairs or something like it. The mand was older and it was known his health was in decline so perhaps it would be simple to do. Either way, Knuckles looked around, it was still evening so the man should be at his own shop still. Knuckles pushed into the yard and walked around. He walked up to the door and knocked waiting to see if someone would come to the door to answer it.

Knuckles Shi

When no one came to the door Knuckles twisted the handle to see if it was locked and it was. Looking around Knuckles gripped the handle of his hammer as a small magic circle would come to life before his body began to gain mass. With his strength increased, Knuckles moved towards the backdoor, once he found he tried this handle too, it is locked as well. Griping the knob firmly Knuckles turned it with all his strength forcing the lock to break as he pushed the door open. Once inside Knuckles moved with caution thought out the home. After scanning the home for anyone in it he did not find a soul. This was good, though it did not mean that no one would not be coming home other than him. A plan would start forming within his mind of how he was going to handle things, the easiest seemed to just kill the man outright with his hammer then start a fire. Going through the different rooms he was able to find several things that would help him start a fire, and thanks to the spell he had used earlier the sky would start to look like a storm was coming becoming darker sooner.

During his scanning of the rooms, he was able to find some forging gear and items that would help make it look like things just so happened to go wrong for the old man. All there as to do now was wait and see when this man would come home. A few hours would pass then Knux heard it, the front door would be unlocked then opened. He could hear the mumbles of an older man who sounded like he had a long day. The Demon within Knuckles spoke to him. "My dear boy, you have become such a favorite of mine. I do not even have to ask you or tempt you with such things, they come to you. These sins seek you out and you willingly accept. You are worthy of my power. I picked well when I picked you, Knuckles Shi. " He would not need to answer and only welcomed the compliment at this time. He did not plan to become a pawn still, though he had to admit it was easier to do such things now. He waited in one of the back rooms for the old man to move into the kitchen, this is where he would strike.

Hearing the sound of shuffling steps coming from the kitchen and the running water meeting some type of object, Knuckles reached for his hammer and stepped out from his hiding spot a magic circle glowed from the weapon as Knuckles threw it towards his target, the hammer curved through the structure hitting the old man square up in the center of his mid-back, the thunderous strike leaving the man unable to even scream out in pain as the wind would be knocked out of his lungs before the hammer could leave his back Knuckles reached his hand out calling the hammer back to him as he walked up the old man. With the hammer now in hand, the old man was left bent over the sink gasping even still, the cup he was holding laid in the sink and the water still pumping through the faucet. Knuckles grabbed the man by his shirt and pulled him away from the sink. His old frame tumbled to the floor shock apparent on his face as Knux turned the faucet off. Knuckles pressed his leg into the chest of the old man and pushed down with a lot of force making it even harder for him to take a breath. Knuckles removed his foot and he brought the hammer down onto the chest area the old man was unable to even lift his arms.

Knuckles Shi

The blow was clean and simple, it was enough to ensure the man would die or at least not be able to move much while Knuckles prepped things. He placed his hammed back onto the small of his back, he grabbed a pan from one of the cabinets once he found it, got some oil, and went through the fridge. He found some food to cook, and then fixed a plate. Over this hour of cooking the man did not move. After he was done cooking he ate about half of what he cooked, after he placed the plate onto the table then walked over to the kitchen grabbed the old man and dragged him over to the table, lifted him up, and placed him into the chair near the plate. Walking back into the kitchen once more he tipped the pan over slightly enough for the oils he cooked with to catch fire, he turned the flame up and let it roar to life. As the flames slowly climbed up and spewed the oils over the man the kitchen would start to slowly catch flame. When he reached the man once more Knuckles drew his hammer and tossed it into the ceiling several times forcing it to give way and land on the man and the table.

The Daemon would wait until the kitchen was all but in flames and smoke billowed throughout the kitchen. Knuckles would only grin as he made sure the front door was locked and exited from the back. He gathered his demon energy allowing his new fully trained and all-powerful demon transformation to take over his body as the black energy consumed most of him. His new black wings would flap taking him off the ground and allowed him to travel up to 15 meters into the air, though before take-off Knuckles would invoke the spell within his armor which allowed him to reach his full speeds instantly for up to 20 meters. The magic circle came to lift at the base of his feet, then he rocketed off flying off from the area until he found a good place to land several blocked away. He then landed and made his way to his current home. In the morning he would return to Greyford and showed up at his shop before it was even open for business. When the blacksmith arrived that morning the two entered and Knux let him know it was done. He received his payment and the forge master to hold that suit of armor for him, he would be back to claim it soon.
