Night had fallen in Oak and most of the residents had been asleep, Shichiro had also been trying to sleep but something had been plaguing him recently. He had completely lost the use of his magma magic capabilities and could no longer conjure them at will. Recently, he had night terrors of being pulled into a different dimension and having an ominous being telling him that he was chosen to learn how to use his unique magic. He couldn't quite make out what that being was but he knew it was bad news. Shichiro tried to resist its influence but unfortunately, whatever power was drawing him in was too vast for him to resist with his own mana. Eventually, a colossal dragon seemingly emerged from a wormhole in front of him. In comparison, Shichiro was roughly the size of a speck in the dragon's eye as it had claws that could grasp entire planets with two fingers. For the first time in a long time, Shichiro had felt terror as he felt quite insignificant in front of a being unknown. Frozen in terror, Shichiro had stared at the  dragon like being was in front of him, unable to speak in its presence. Although the dragon hadn't opened it's mouth, it was speaking directly into Shichiro's mind. It apparently decided Shichiro was worthy of inheriting it's tutelage for ancient dragon magic. Shichiro, staring at the being, didn't know how to respond to this, silently staring at the large dragon. He figured since this was a dream, he'd wake up soon and then he'd be able to take a breather. The dragon had chuckled, assuring him this was no dream and he would prove it. He would impart wisdom into Shichiro's head of a basic magical spell that another Dragon Slayer once had. Widening his eyes, Shichiro's body began to glow violently as if he was in pain and suddenly Shichiro was allowed to wake up with a new found spell.

Waking up in a cold sweat, Shichiro began to pant heavily in a pitch black darkness as if something tried to squeeze the life out of him. The dragon said something about imparting some knowledge on him but he wasn't sure what it meant. In the end, Shichiro registered it as a really bad night terror before he tried to go back to sleep. As he laid in bed, something was compelling him to leave the room he was renting out, go to some secluded area and try out a spell he's never had in his build before. Eventually, the urge got stronger and stronger until he jumped out of bed and exited his room. Placing his hands into his pockets, Shichiro begrudgingly made his way out into the forests of Oak in order to appease this feeling compelling him to come out and try the spell that was in his dream. Walking towards a large rock that was resting in the middle of the forest, Shichiro walked towards it until he was one meter away from it and raised his hand towards it. At first, nothing happened and Shichiro scoffed before screaming towards the sky, "THERE! YA HAPPY! NOTHING!" With that, Shichiro raised his hand one more time and concentrated on the rock which was suddenly pushed violently away from him up to five meters. This action shocked him as it turns out what happened in his dream was true. Shichiro then walked towards the rock one more time until he was two meters away from it. He then tried once more to move the rock by extending his hand towards it. Once again, the rock was pushed away violently. Blinking, Shichiro couldn't believe what was happening. A dream had given him power. He had hoped to learn more about this.

Suddenly, he had the revelation he should go back to sleep in order to see if he would have that same dream again. Deciding to head to the inn, Shichiro began to head back into the direction of where the town was. However, as he walked a few feet, he began to feel really sleepy. Leaning onto a nearby tree, Shichiro decided he couldn't hold out much longer and fell asleep. Once again, he found himself  being pulled through a different dimension that resembles space itself and the colossal dragon had emerged once more in order to speak with Shichiro once more. Once again, Shichiro was overcome with a terror like ones never felt before but this time he managed to hide it a little better, at least not wearing it on his face this time around. The dragon once again had spoken to Shichiro about teaching him magic the dragon currently possesses and how it can be used to steal the magic of the Elder dragons. Shichiro was interested in this power as he had experienced it first hand. He was one of those famed dragon slayers that stole other dragon slayer's powers. This means he could slay any dragon he wanted with a conglomeration of multiple different elemental dragons. In the end, Shichiro had agreed to accept the gift he was being offered although he was slightly unsure if this would be harmful to him or not. The imparting of wisdom the first time around had been quite painful for him and he didn't wish to experience it a second time if he could help it. Unfortunately, his hopes had been dashed as the dragon's eyes began to glow once more and Shichiro could painfully feel the knowledge of another spell flood into his mind, body and soul.

After the strange experience was done, Shichiro found himself walking up slowly with knowledge of another slayer's magic coursing through his brain. He had collapsed near a rock after fulfilling the desire of what he assumed was now his teacher. Well, Shichiro didn't exactly know how to feel about this kind of thing but he knew that it was all strange and he was feeling mostly unease about this. On the other hand, being able to steal the powers of other dragon slayers was a pretty nice ability even though it would start him off as very weak. Luckily, the dragon had imparted some of the wisdom of previous slayers whose powers he had stolen just from watching had been imparted onto him. It was now up to him to train what he was given since having the knowledge of the spell itself didn't automatically mean he was proficient.

Holding his head a bit, Shichiro struggled to get up as he used the rock he was leaning against for support. Finally standing up to attention, he decided he should go back to the inn for now and just try to get as much sleep as he could for the remainder of the night. Tomorrow was going to be a headache for him one way or the other. Walking back towards the inn he was staying in, he entered the establishment, decided to get some water and then went back to his room, in his bed and finally to sleep. In what seemed like a minute for Shichiro, the sunlight had begun to crawl on his face as it irritated him with its bright and warm light. His room curtains were closed but it didn't matter as he could no longer peacefully sleep with the sun beaming so brightly. He had wished today would be a little more cloudy but alas, he couldn't always get what he wanted.

And that was pretty much that.. He decided it was best to do so since he was going to go and train up the new spell. Shichiro got up and began to swing and sway his torso from his waist up from left to right and jumped up and down to pump himself up for the next technique he was gonna start training next. After exiting the inn hall, and entering it’s courtyard next to a lake, he looked around to see if this was a good spot to start. He deemed it okay and began. Deciding he wanted to start with something simple but could prove to be useful later. Maybe learning to magnetize metals better would help him in future endeavors. There's bound to be something or the other he could use like bits of metal or old machinery like metal detectors. Shichiro looked around the area around him to search for anything metallic that he could manipulate with his electrons. He had walked over towards the lake and stumbled upon some old chairs and what looked like a metal detector. Shichiro wasn't aware that there was anybody that would hang around here on this island except for training or exploration purposes. He then sighed before outstretching his right arm towards the piece of chair lodged into the ground before him and concentrated on it, slowly levitating it into the air a foot from the ground. He then lifted the piece of the chair higher into the air about four feet in the air before he was satisfied he could lift it as high as he wanted to for now. He wanted to test how much weight he could hold before it would put a strain on his body. Shichiro turned his head left and right to look for another suitable object for him to test this new spell on. He had found another piece of chair sticking out of the ground and decided to add that to his current weight.

Shichiro never noticed there was any type of housing or building near-by but he was glad he managed to find some material just laying around here rusting. He moved his right arm towards the new piece of chair to levitate that into the air while the one he was already levitating followed where the palm of his hand moved like a magnet until they were both side by side about an inch away from each other. He didn’t feel like anything had changed from when he was lifting one object. He decided he wanted to look for something much heavier than just pieces of chairs. He searched around for the final time finally finding something that will test the full extent of his ability. He had found a large metal chest in the shallow part of the lake. Shichiro grinned thinking this is the final test of this spell and moved his right arm over towards it moving the pieces of chair towards it as well and magnetizing the chest in the water itself. It took a bit of effort since the water made his electrons spread out and go through all directions until he managed to get a lock on his target and hoisted it out of the water in between the two pieces of chair. Shichiro closed his right eye slightly as he began to feel the strain of the items he was lifting. The combined weight must have at last been over two hundred and ten pounds. An idea came to Shichiro's head and he thought it would be a good idea to see how far he could chuck these objects over the lake. He then outstretched his left arm to maintain a better hold of the items and pulled both his arms back before throwing them over the lake as far as he could with all his might. They only traveled two meters before they plopped into the lake, causing a large backlash of rippling water coming crashing into the shore near Shichiro.

He wasn't worried as he was quite confident in his level of control. Always has been for a few years now. there were definitely people far superior in controlling their mana than he was but he still considered himself pretty high up there as a contender. Done with making comparisons and reassuring himself of his skill, Shichiro began to send mana to his feet in order to begin his treacherous climb up the mountainside near the lake. Walking up right alongside the mountain, Shichiro began his journey towards the entrance of the cavern ruins to begin his mission. Making it to the entrance of the ruins, it seems the mission briefing had been correct on the door having a marking upon it. According to his briefing, there were no signs of an obvious entry into the ruins in order to see what could be lurking inside of them. Examining the walls and the door itself, he found no signs of being able to get in like some sort of mechanism or what not. Eventually, he had almost resorted to violence in order to get in. He touched the door itself to get a feel for how difficult it would be to break down the door and what kind of technique might do that trick but before he could get that information, the door's temple symbol had lit up and opened itself. Quite puzzled, he looked at the hand he touched the door with before giving a slight shrug and entered into the cavern. The light from outside lit his way as he traversed deeper into the dungeon. As he continued going deeper, the light from the entrance began to dim, slowly losing sight of what was in front of him, literally. Eventually, he found an unlit torch he could use to light his way and lead himself further into the ruined cavern. He called it a cavern but that was because he lacked the correct term for it at the moment.

Overall, it wasn't very important to him as he had to figure out how to get through the series of twists and turns. Taking another step inside, he could immediately see a podium and two rows of long, wooden chairs. Placing his hands into his pockets, he turned his head to look from left to right. Other than the eerie sight of what looks like a religious group of Illumine were previously inhabiting the area. Walking to the center of the room, he found a trap door in the middle of the room where the lock was broken. It seems people were in here before him and he may or may not have to fight for what he's potentially looking for, if there was anything worth looking for. Well, there's nothing left to do but continue to delve deeper in order to reach his objective. Walking down the flight of stairs, Shichiro had then walked in front of a set of double doors. From the big doors in Depths, he made his way to the left side of the gargantuan hole to find a ladder, followed by some more ladders. At the bottom, a club-wielding Barbarian would welcome him, appropriately. Shichiro made short work of the bandit by giving it a swift kick to the chest. He then climbed back up another ladder to deal with a second barbarian enemy. Before proceeding, he noticed a lower level to the right with mage dropouts and deserters hanging out below. When they spotted him, he ran towards a ladder at the far back to the right that allowed them to come get him. Keeping to the left for the time being, to avoid getting spotted by them, he waited until the three of them ran by him. He didn't know this many potential dangers were down here and as much as he'd like to exterminate them all, he couldn't risk being swarmed and overwhelmed.

Heading back up to the overhead structure and continuing onward, Shichiro had located two small bridges. The first one on his right is a wobbly bridge that will sway from side-to-side as he crosses it, there are a few of these in the upper parts of this blight of a desert town. A general rule of thumb for crossing weak bridges like these is to stand still when they started moving. The other bridge just after the first leads to the same area, however this bridge is stationary. If he continued to the left, on a platform he was currently on, he saw a corpse with an item on a lower platform across a gap; the item is a weapon of some sort and the jump provides a quick way to the destination he was heading in, but the risk at this point is too high. On his right, he noticed a swordsman with its back towards him standing near a ledge. Slowly creeping up on it, he delivered a swift kick to the humanoid figure as it fell over, emitting a high pitched scream. After he dealt with it, he would then proceed to cross the stationary bridge noted earlier and made his way down a ladder. To his right, he saw another corpse at the bottom of a short drop; dropping down caused him to fall through the floor to a lower level. Down that the lower level, Shichiro had discovered an enemy he hadn't encountered before. Tilting his head, Shichiro had outstretched his right hand and performed the 'come hither' technique. Suddenly a darkness had enveloped him, turning into a protective, full body shield. To his surprise he didn't expect it to work but now that it did, he was ready to face the foe in front of him. After a swift exchanges of blows, Shichiro had came out victorious, revealing an exit to the ruins he had entered.

[Exit.]
