Kenzo hadn’t felt that way in such a long time that he had forgotten the feeling. However, it was nigh time he did what he set out to do. For the last couple of months, he had been postponing a specific travel he needed to take. His tour through all the regions of Fiore had taught and showed him many things. He was still a newcomer to the country, but he was proud that he could say that he knew more about it than what many natives would get to know in their whole lives. The mercenary was someone that liked being ready and prepared most of the times. Since he had decided to join Advent World and make a new life for himself in Fiore, it was obvious that he needed to familiarize himself with the land.
For the past year, the merc had gotten to travel through every region and major city of the country. Except for one. Magnolia had been left to the last of his list. He was nervous to go there. He knew it was a silly thing, but he still felt restless with the idea of facing his past. His mother had been born in Magnolia many years before. Heck, she had been one of Fairy Tail’s strongest mages during her time. However, he was afraid to learn more about the city and the place of birth of his mom. He was afraid that the scars of the past would open up and be too painful for him again. He was finally starting to forget about those bad times.
Yet. He needed to do this. Kenzo took his things and set out to Magnolia at last. He traveled with a look of determination the whole trip. As he saw the Kardia Cathedral far in the distance, his heart began beating faster. ”Here we go…”
