Kerii pocketed the jewels Seheda had given her as a reward, and began making her way back towards the guild hall. There was still plenty of light left in the day, so she supposed that she would be able to take another request as long as it wouldn't take too long. The one she just completed for Seheda was surprisingly short. Kerii thought that the training session would be much longer, but the young mercenary really only wanted to go for a run and have some pointers. If Seheda really wanted to get into the combat academy, their training session should have included more than just that, but perhaps she thought she was sufficient in her other skills. Maybe speed and endurance were the only things holding her back. If that was the case, then Kerii supposed that Seheda's training was helpful after all.

As Kerii walked back towards the guild hall, she already had a request in mind that she wanted to take. If she recalled correctly, the one Dacol Lubex had put out should be quick. All he needed to do was have someone handing out flyers. That wouldn't be too hard. The reward was kind of small, just like the one she already did for Seheda, but combined Kerii would make a nice profit that day. If she still needed more cash, she was sure that she could return to the request board later that day if this one still left her with more time, or she could come back the next day.

Upon returning to the guild hall and going up to the request board, Kerii saw that Dacol Lubex's quest had not been taken by any other guild members, which was good to know. She took it off the board and started walking to the entrance of Orchidia. It was a bit of a walk, especially through the cold wintry air. Though she was glad to be back home, she missed the warmer weather in Hargeon. Though it certainly didn't feel like a summer getaway, temperature-wise it was much better than Orchidia at the moment.

The elf walked over to the entrance to Orchidia and saw Dacol Lubex patiently standing with a stack of flyers in his hands. When Kerii walked over, a smile came across the blue-haired man's face. "Oh, are you here to help hand out the flyers?" he asked, lifting up the stack of papers in his hand. "Mhm," the elf replied. She held her hands out and Dacol placed the flyers in her hands. "When people come, I just need you to give them these papers. They'll inform them of places to go, to avoid, and all that stuff. You just need to do that when I'm not here. When I come back, I'll be taking people on tours and such. Does that sound good?" The elf nodded her head and stood, waiting for some travelers to come by. Someone came by rather quickly, and Dacol offered to take them on a tour, leaving Kerii all by herself.

Kerii stood by the entrance to Orchidia. It was pretty cold, and standing in place didn't really help much. To keep warm, she started pacing back and forth. For a while, nobody showed up. Kerii honestly didn't expect many people to, especially if it was for tourism like Dacol implied. Most people who came to Orchidia that didn't live there or had relatives did so for trading. Truth be told, not much of Orchidia was worth seeing, unless old and broken down buildings were someone's thing. Orchidia got much prettier the further in you went, but it still remained to be a derelict town with overgrown plants.

Eventually, two wanderers came upon Orchidia and Kerii greeted them. "Hello, welcome to Orchidia!" she began with a wide smile across her face. "Would you be interested in one of these flyers? It shows you a bunch of places to visit on your stay here." The couple looked at each other and silently exchanged expressions. They looked uncomfortable, as if they really didn't want to take the flyer, but eventually they took one from the stack of papers the elf was holding and thanked her before walking away. Considering they probably took the flyers simply because it was nice, they likely wouldn't look at it, but Kerii's job wasn't to make sure that they actually read the flyers. She just had to make sure that enough people took them.

Another traveler came looking rather lost. Kerii greeted him the same way she did the other couple and he gladly took it, looking genuinely relieved that he had something to help him at least somewhat navigate throughout the old city. "Thank you! This will be really helpful." He opened it and started reading it as he walked into the town. Well, that was three people down. She thought that she was off to a pretty good start. Two other people came along, but didn't want the flyer at all. She didn't blame them. Orchidia wasn't exactly the most difficult place to find your way around. Perhaps this was because Kerii lived in Orchidia, so she was used to it, but even when she first arrived she seemed to quickly familiarize herself with its surroundings.

After those five people came, Dacol Lubex returned. He was happy to see that she was able to distribute some of the papers, but had hoped that more people would show up. The next person who came, he took on a tour, leaving Kerii to hand out even more flyers. This cycle repeated. Roughly five people would show up, give or take, receive some flyers, and Dacol would come back to take another person on a tour of Orchidia. This repeated until the end of the day. Upon sundown, Dacol told Kerii that she was able to go home and thanked her for her help. He rewarded her with some jewels and bid her farewell. She wanted to ask him about the spirit, but supposed that if anything popped up, he would have told her. With that request done, she returned home.
