Overall: Helios is a charming 22 years old dancer. He has short silver hair that change shades according to the lighting of the place. His playful brown eyes enchance his already cheerful personality, and together with his charming smile complete a handsome irresistable face. He is somewhat average in height and his body has the build of a dancer, allowing him to look strong but graceful at the same time.

Helios is mostly known for wearing his dancer outfit, silky soft to the touch his outfit offers him great freedom and comfort to perform any way he wants. Outside of dancing his taste in clothes is similar, he prefers clothes that offer comfort and look graceful. Helios prefers white and different shades of blue for his clothing as the color makes him feel serene and calm inside.

Personality: Helios is a kind, cheerful young man with a warm smile. Life to him is a gift that should be respected and embraced with utmost love. His parents raised him with love and kindness making him able to generously offer them to the ones he thinks as friends. He values good friends like family and is protective of them. He can often take the role of a big brother even if he's younger than the other person, taking care of them and giving them advice whenever they ask for it.

His kindness also extends to his everyday life from handling missions to small errands he offers a warm smile and tries hard to see them realised. Always polite and heartwarmingly friendly, he leaves a deep impression in people's minds.

Through his job as a dancer, waiter and bartender at night Helios' perspective of love and a happy time has broadened quite a lot. Through his charm, compliments, a sweet smile or a promising stare he is quite the flirt at nighttime. However, despite his flirtatious nature he is still looking for the person that will speak to his heart and emotions, waiting patiently for that moment to arrive.

Emotions have a dominant place in Helios and as such he is prone to react based on his feelings and emotions at a given time rather than logic. However, he has been led to rushed conclusions a multitude of times with bad outcomes and is currently trying to keep his emotions at check when faced with decisions.

Likes:

Performing: For Helios the stage is his second home, through his dance he feels free and wants to convey that feeling to the audience. Smiles, tears, cheers is the means by which Helios feels rewarded and that his performance left a mark in the hearts of his audience.
Night Sky: When Helios isn't performing at the bar he can be seen practicing and dancing under the moonlit sky in a quiet place. The light of the stars and the moon create a serene feeling inside him and transform him into an empty canvas ready to receive all the colors and emotions that his dances bring along with each step.
Nature: Helios loves flowers, he links memories and situations with a specific scent and color of a flower. He holds two kinds of flowers dear to him, red roses as a sign of the passion and love he holds within him and tulips his mother's favourites representing her passion to dance free.

Dislikes:

Arguements | Fights: Helios dislikes seeing people argue with each other as much as when he is involved in an arguement, especially when the conflict can be solved by simply talking. If the situation gets out of hand he resorts to his magic calming others down with graceful movements.
Passionless People: To Helios passion is the equivalent of life, a hobby, a job, anything that can motivate the person to better himself/herself and to live a fulfilling life. As such, he dislikes people that have no passion in their life as they are simply not living in his eyes.

Motivations:

Helios' Mother: Helios' mother was always an example of pure passion and love both in dancing and towards her family. He holds her memories close to his heart from times when they practiced together to small acts of love like a hug or a kiss on the forehead and a praise.
Constant Improvement: One of Helios' drives in life is his need to improve constantly, as a person, as a performer and as a magic user. He tries to implement a variety of styles of dancing to create his own unique and perfect way of dancing in order to express as accurately as possible his feelings and emotions, as they are the original source of his magic. As a person he tries to be as compassionate and understanding as his mother was.

Fears:

Death: Helios doesn't fear death itself, he fears what death brings...suddenly being cut off from life, his dreams and aspirations unfulfilled, an undying love he didn't have the chance to find, not having spent enough time with people that mattered to him.

Magic Description: Danse Macabre makes Helios a herald of life and death in an allegorical way. His dances can represent happiness, strength and vigor, representing life itself. At other times his dance is slow and evokes weakness, fragility and decay representing the passage to death. These aspects of his magical performance give him the ability to heal and cast buffs on his allies empowering them with the will and courage to live or weaken his enemies with debuffs making them easier targets and guiding them to their demise. Helios is also able to cast supplementary spells through his more graceful dances offering great support to his allies.

History

History: Helios was born in the Rozenhart family, a name well-known across Fiore for it's dancers and performers. Their mystical dances and songs weaved emotions never-before experienced by the human heart. Tears, smiles, excitement was spread throughout the town they would perform.

Helios, son of one of the two Rozenhart sisters was born on a summer morning. As the sun was rising his mother clutched him in her arms,the baby boy let out a cheerful laugh and smiled as he fell asleep, his mother witnessing the miracle of life and the warm smile her son presented her with decided to name him Helios -like the warm sun that bathed her in it's rays-.

Helios grew up to be a cheerful boy full of kindness and smiles, his mother loved and cherished him telling him he got his father's looks and charm and her own cheerful attitude and gracefulness in dancing, however there was one minor fault. Even though Helios could sing, his songs didn't appear to have the kind of power that her family's had, something unheard of in the Rozenhart family. Her fears however subsided over time as she saw her son a dancer with much greater talent and potential in dancing than she could ever have.

Helios grew more beautiful and graceful each day. As he danced beside his mother he felt himself being alive, dancing was a ritual for him, it set him free of his worries, free of his locked up emotions. Eventually, his magic grew to the point where it could produce music while he was dancing, a great benefit for a dancer that his mother's family never had and were bound to musicians -like her husband- or the singing of other family members. Helios was different and would only become better, this thought filled her heart with more hope than she could ever have...he had a life of freedom ahead of him bound to no one.

On the night of his seventeenth birthday his father fell ill and was bedridden for months without being able to accept any kind of cure. His mother was unable to dance without his father's music and money started running low in their family because of all the jewels spent for medication. Soon after Helios' mother fell in a depressive state, unable to express her true feelings through dancing anymore she resorted to singing in order to make some money, but her songs weren't as powerful that was her sister's gift, she was a dancer.

Helios tried his best to try and provide for his family, he was working at the local bar as a waiter at night and running all kinds of errands in the morning for some extra money. His mother had prohibited him of using his dance to make a living at such a young age, as it wasn't as refined yet and the magic imbued in it could cause problems for the audience. Despite his mother's warnings, Helios -seeing that his efforts in making a respectable amount of money were proving fruitless- decided to perform solo for the first time, he had prepared a lot for that time after all.

And so the big night of his first performance arrived. Helios made sure that his parents were unaware of what he was about to do and left the house to work as a waiter at the bar like any other time.

When he arrived at the bar the owner assured him everything was ready. His heart was beating like crazy, he was used to performing but not without his mother's guidance and his father's music, this time he created a choreography all by himself with music his magic created through his sheer feelings and emotions...He heard the owner announce his name, it was time!

Helios walked onto the stage, looking at the audience...there was absolute silence. Helios gave the audience a warm smile and started dancing, music took silence's place, a fiery tune could be heard throughout the bar...it was his feeling, his heated emotions, he wanted to dance, to scream, to find a way out of the miserable life his family fell into. He wanted to show people the beauty of his dance, he wanted to show himself what he alone could accomplish.

The dance was becoming more frantic each second, the music echoed like a fiery phoenix full of passion for life, his audience was cheering for him, clapping along. He had done it his first perfomance was a success, now however he started feeling like he was losing control, he had to stop. As he turned his head performing his last move Helios locked eyes with a customer -he saw ecstacy in his eyes-, seconds later he put an end to his dance.
The crowd went wild, people were yelling his name, Helios was proud of himself.

As promised, Helios got a large amount of money from the owner. He even had some private bookings arranged for people's birthdays and other events. Through the crowd Helios saw a guy in his 40's walking towards him, he was the one that looked into his eyes mere moments ago. The man approached Helios, congratulated him and offered him a big amount of jewels asking to follow him home saying that he had seen his prior performances with his mother and always craved for a more private kind of dancing. Helios hesitated at first but knew he had to take this chance, his family needed the money.

Once inside the house the man's attitude changed, he became violent with Helios, throwing him on the wall and ripping the shawl his mother gave him from his chest. Helios was scared, he imagined the man wouldn't be up to any good but he didn't imagine all this. The man was slapping him, one hard slap after the other until he grabbed Helios turned him around and hit his head on the wall. Helios was scared, the injury on his head wasn't severe he managed to resist the blow by putting his hands on the wall...
The door was forced open. Much to Helios' surprise he saw a pair of familiar eyes, it was his mother. The man screamed but the woman stood there unflinching looking at him in the eyes. Helios had never seen his mother look at someone this way...suddenly a move, music, violins started playing. Helios was confused, he saw his mother performing a slow dance unlike any of what he had already witnessed. The woman told him to run home quickly and close the door behind him. Helios left the interior of the house, closing the door but instead of going home like he was told to he continued watching from the window. The man was entranced and his mother seemed like she was creating illusions of herself...hearing the music at it's peak Helios saw his mother's erratic dance and witnessed her ascending to something inhumane, no emotion in her eyes, just a cold stare as the man's essence of life was leaving his body and finally vanished.

Helios run home with all his might. Shortly after his mother arrived in a horrid state, it looked like she was decaying. She told him she knew everything that occured that night and that she was proud of him and his performance but now he had to listen closely cause there wasn't much time. What the woman performed that night was the Danse Macabre, the family's ultimate spell from which their dance magic was named, she had ascended to the aspect of death itself and took away the man's soul. She explained however that the dance and all the other dances they perform merely open the path between life and death and it's up to the dancer and his/her emotions, feelings and interpretation that fuel the dance's magic and it's properties.

That was the last time Helios spoke to his mother, a life for a life she told him, that's what death required. The days that followed were full of sadness, grieving and fights between Helios and his father. After learning what had occured that night the man started blaming his son for the loss of his wife. One night Helios decided to leave his house and his father forever and start his own life...
He travelled a lot and met a lot of people during his travels, danced for even more and had a few of them as lovers whether it was out of love or for money.

Helios has now joined the Blue Pegasus and is getting accustomed to his new life, of training and taking missions while also staying true to his heart and performing at night.
