Fiammetta Barone The journey to Crocus had been an arduous one, to say the least. Several days of near-continuous walking, with minimal rest and only rations of food and nothing to drink but plain old water. So needless to say, by the time Fiammetta Barone and her compatriots had arrived, the young delinquent was feeling more than a little tired and hungry after the long trip. Upon arrival, the trio had spent a bit more time familiarising themselves with the town and what their roles would be in the upcoming battle against Grimoire Heart. After getting that all sorted, and their nerves thoroughly honed in the face of this massive threat, Esperia and Fia broke off from Liana to go try and find somewhere to stay during their time in Crocus. Of course, a nice meal wouldn't hurt too. "Maaaan, I'm starved..." Fia groaned to her lover as the pair strolled down the streets of the Holy Capital, toward an inn which would sate the needs for both shelter and food. Though the former could've been solved by the Rune Knights' temporary barracks, the idea of sleeping apart from Esperia in these stressful times was just too much for the poor fiery lass. "Shoulda seen if there was any of that Christmas lunch left over..." Fia lamented, licking her lips at the thought of the delicious venison they'd had at the Barone orphanage that day. |

Although Esperia was in a high mood, courtesy of the companionship she had during the trip, the tension from the upcoming war was quite heavy, perhaps it was for that reason that Esperia believed she needed to remain the little bit of sunshine for those dear to her. After they had arrived at Crocus and familiarized themselves with the layout of the town, when they finally got done dealing with getting the directions when finally Fia and Esperia had decided to go their own way for a bit. Of course, she had reassured Liana that when the conflict was about to happen they would all be fighting at each other's side but for a bit she wanted to enjoy a little bit of privacy with her lover. With the two of them on their own Esperia turned her gaze at Fia, a little smile lingering upon her lips. "According to what I heard there are some mesh halls around the various districts?" It was a simple suggestion, but noticing the hungry reaction of her lover Esperia couldn't help but snicker. "If we brought that along we'd be turning into a beacon for bandits or wild animals~ Although, that Christmas lunch was truly delicious~" The girl hummed in agreement. |

"Mess hall? Princess, if it's anythin' like ones the Knights had in Baska, I ain't wantin' nothin' ta' do with that slop." She lamented, pondering on what else there might be to sate her desires for both quality and quantity. After all, there were ways to cool ones nerves better than nice meal with lovely company. An unashamed chortle was let out a Esperia's joke, Fia grinning at the very prospect. "Ha! Don' matter what it was, if there'd been somethin' tryna take my food, it woulda had to deal with one hangry-ass Titan." She joked heartily, entirely amused by the idea of defending that delicious meal from any manner of beasts or bandits. Not that it was that nonsensical, as the meal was truly worth fighting for! The pair of young lovers wandered through the streets a bit further, until Fia would suddenly stop as her eyes came across what looked to be a possible location for their pitstop. A massive inn, two stories tall and taking up a fair amount of space on its own. "Huh. Looks promisin', don' it?" |

"So~ You are suggesting that we'd be getting a giant Fia go on a rampage to protect stew?" Tilting her head slightly while she mused at the same time. However, they soon spotted what appeared to be a massive inn, making her hum softly. "Hmm~ maybe we can even stay here? You know, it be more pleasant than sleeping in the barracks, right?" Raising a hand to her chin the girl pondered a bit further. "However, we'll likely be forced to wake up early for the patrols." The girl explained in a gentle tone yet after leaning closer to Fia she whispered in a more tempting tone. "But I'd feel a lot better if we sleep together... I mean without lewd snuggling! I mean lewd snuggling can happen also~ but umm.... I think that if we were to do that right before things happen we might be all hot and bothered and messy at the same time!" A soft sigh escaped the girl's lips while she mused softly. "Guess it's all the more a reason to beat up Grimoire Heart!" |

Fia huffed in agreement, fully conscious of just how stuffy and crowded barracks could be. Not to mention they had a severe lack of privacy! Meaning that if she and Esperia did get up to their nightly activities, they'd really have to keep their voices down. And Fia was not entirely sure that was possible... The steam punk shook her head of those lewd thoughts, only for Esperia to whisper them right back into her ear. Her lovers warm breath against her air, and the words it carried, were more than enough to evoke steam from the lass' reddened face as her lover described just how messy things might get if their timing was poor! Fia chuckled a little, pulling Esperia's arm closer as she grinned at the girl. "Heh, ya tellin' me I gotta hold back til' we take out the Grims? Princess, that's one helluva motivation!" She'd declare, pulling Esperia in even tighter as she caressed the girl's cheek, leaning in for a whisper. "But it means when we do kick their asses, yer in fer some serious celebration, ya hear?" A mischievous giggle followed, yet a moment later as she heard Fia chuckle and pull her a bit closer, she grinned sheepishly at her, while stating in a soft yet playful manner. "Mhmm~ The faster we kick their behinds over the wall the faster we can go back to the more fun stuff." Esperia hummed softly yet after feeling her cheek caressed and the seductive promise being made Esperia found her cheeks turning a crimson hue as she lowered her gaze lightly for a moment, clearly flustered at the statement before she leaned up and pressed her lips against Fia's cheek, whispering into her ear a moment afterward. "Want to see whose endurance lasts the longest? Winner ends up being on top~" A playful twirl followed as she stepped in front of her lover and happily tugged her along into the inn, seemingly looking around to find out what the establishment had to offer aside from its immense size. |

Fia admitted after Esperia's details on how awkward and troublesome staying in the barracks might be. Her expression twisted into a small grin, however, as a thought came to her mind. "Then again, yer usually kinda loud, huh?" A bit of unfair tease, and likely one that would warrant her an equally flustering retort, but Fia could hardly resist. In spite of the possibility of 'excitement', it was clear that staying in the barracks was not an option, but as the girls talk shifted toward the inn, the pair of lustful lasses ended up on a similar note, with a kiss on Fia's cheek and that sweet whisper in her arm sending red into her cheeks and a smile onto her face. "Oh, yer on, Princess! Better be ready to scream my name, ya hear?" She'd mutter as twirled around, adorable as ever, before tugging Fia into the inn itself. Upon entering, it would be clear that the inn's purpose was twofold. First, as a place of temporary residence, which seemed to be on the upper levels. Secondly, as a massive bar and restaurant, evident by the innumerable tables and booths in front of the counter. Fia could already be seen grinning in anticipation, as the sight of good food was finally before her! |

A snicker accompanied her flustered reaction as she heard Fia's teasing mutter, making Esperia hum softly. "I'll say your name as often as you desire Fia~ but let's keep the screaming for when you'll pierce my heavens hmm?" Teasingly poking out her tongue at the last remark Esperia couldn't help but find her interest stirred by the presence of the various tables and booths that contained all sorts of food, a mere glimpse of her lover's expression already making it clear that the inn had earned a positive reaction from her. "Guess this establishment is to your liking then~ Let's order something shall we?" Esperia hummed softly while looking around to see if she could find a possible place for them to take a seat at. Fia exclaimed unconvincingly at the allegations of her almost getting the pair caught during one of their riskier encounters. A particularly hot burst of steam rose from her encounter as memories of it ran through her head, of how thrilling and daring it had all been. Fia shook her head, now was the time for a break from such lewd thoughts and heaven piercing. At least, a temporary one, as with that pair of passionate lovers things were always but a step away from getting hot and heavy... Speaking of heat, Fia was practically drooling at the site of all the hot food being served by the inn's waitresses. It'd been far too long since the girl had had a full, hearty meal. Her powerful appetite didn't go unnoticed, it seemed, as Esperia was quick to suggest that they find a seat to enjoy the establishment's grub by. "Sounds good ta' me. Oughta grab a booth though, y'know..." Fia suggested, choosing not to explain that her reasoning had something to do with the possibility of cuddling in the comfortable booth as they awaited their food. That aside, Fia would take Esperia by the hand walk over to a nearby booth, shimmying along into it before grabbing a menu and awaiting a waitress. |

Eisenberg Luckily Esperia wasn't clueless, so when a booth was suggested by her feisty girlfriend the obsidian-haired trickster was all too eager to oblige, happily letting herself be guided to a nearby booth where she took a seat quite close to her lover, to the point they were practically right beside each other and with the slightest movement could feel their legs, thighs, and hips touch each other. When the waitress arrived with the menu Esperia pondered for a moment, looking over the menu before humming softly. "I think I will go with a Hamburger this time~ Oh! and a large goblet of lemonade~" A sheepish grin lingered on her lips as Esperia waited for Fia to finish her order and the waitress to leave when finally she gently rested her head against her lover's shoulder. "Good thing Sebastian had the courtesy to wait outside for us, I think he would make things awkward for us otherwise~" Esperia explained with a sheepish grin before she looked up at Fia's face and pondered aloud. "I'm still curious why he is willing to serve me, despite him being a guardian of Asmodeus... To be honest, for a demon his entire demeanor is kind of weird, right?" |

As the two pressed close against each other, like they couldn't bear to be apart, a waitress would approach asking their order. Fia stifled a snicker at Esperia's order, thinking it rather amusing to imagine a 'Princess' ordering a hamburger. When the waitress turned to her, Fia responded with similar simplicity. "I'll grab the steak, and a pint o' Bernia Ale." She ordered, a suitably masculine meal for the more butch side of their relationship. As the waitress left, Esperia nestled her head onto Fia's shoulder, and the steam punk put her arm around Esperia's side to keep her close. Not quite the same forceful grasp as before, instead, something softer, more affectionate than passionate. Esperia voiced her thoughts on one of the pair's traveling partners, prompting a brief scoff from Fia. "Heh, awkward is that guy's specialty..."] She muttered aloud, thinking back on just how, well, awkward it could be with him around. When her lover voiced a more serious concern, Fia paused for a moment, before speaking up with a considerate look. "Don' it make sense? Yer Asmodeus' host or whatever, she wants you safe fer some reason. Means her servants gotta do the same, right?" Fia mused, once again lingering on that one unanswered question. What in the hell did Asmodeus want from Esperia anyways? Well, it was a reveal for another time, so Fia decided to substitute with her own little reveal. "He ain't that strange fer a demon either... I think. I mean, only one I ever met was Claramond, so I ain't exactly sure what most are like..." |

"Hehe no kidding~ even if his teleport spell is useful, I still remember how you reacted when we were in the middle of some 'intensive wrestling' and he poofed into the room because he heard a cry. I think that was enough steam to fill a sauna~" A soft hum followed yet as Fia explained more about how Asmodeus wanted to keep her safe for some reason and that her servants desired to do the same, the revelation that followed had almost gone by unnoticed. "I see~ so Clara is a demo----- wait what?!" The girl exclaimed in disbelief as she turned toward her lover, clearly surprised at the reveal. "Wait, wait, wait the Barone household has its own Demon maid?" A short pause followed as her gaze drifted up and down Fia's body and soon the lass hummed with a mischievous grin on her lips. The topic was soon turned back to the demonic butler waiting outside, with Esperia bringing up a particularly embarassing memory. "Ugh, don' remind me... Think I damn near ended up goin' full Titan..." Fia groaned as she recalled that frightening and flustering experience. It had been a sudden and rude interruption, to say the least. A small grin of satisfaction formed in Fia's expression at Esperia's reaction to the casual reveal. She nodded as the girl turned to her, affirming what she'd said. "That's right, 'ol Clara's our own demon maid... Don' even ask me how my old man hired 'er, even I don' know the story there..." Fia admitted, though really, it couldn't have been something that incredible. After all, the Barone orphanage was actually filled with other races, from a Demon to Lycans to Elves, and even a Vampire. Though, Fia would save that reveal for a later date. It was clear some other mischievous thought was on Esperia's mind as she scanned Fia's body, and surely enough, the girl managed to prompt even further bashful blushing at the compliments sent her way. "Good~ Playing nice with Asmodeus is good and all, but don't forget that you're mine~ Just like I'm yours~" Esperia smiled sheepishly as suddenly the sound of footsteps made the girl turn toward the approaching meals! "Oh mai~ That's one hell of a big hamburger!" And she wasn't saying that as an understatement! In fact both their meals seemed large enough to be considered jumbo sized! The waitress smiled politely as she explained it was a favor from the chef for the protectors of Crocus, and if they looked around they would likely notice a lot of the customers at the inn were in fact knights and allied mages who weren't on duty right now. "I'm not saying no to a big meal without any extra costs~" Esperia hummed happily as she grasped a hold of the hamburger with both hands and eagerly took a chew of it. Fia responded softly to her lover, capping off that brief but tender moment with a genuine smile, but moments before their food finally arrived. The steam punk's eyes widened with glee at the arrival of the massive steak and the hearty pint that come with it, already licking her lips in anticipation. "Oh, hell yeah! Now this is a real friggin' meal!" The Barone woman declared eagerly, looking more than ready to dig right in! The waitress explained that it was a little bonus to those arriving to defend Crocus, and for once, Fia felt just little glad she'd been roped into this. "Cheers." Fia offered her gratitude, before getting right into things, taking a healthy swig of her ale before cutting right into her stake. It was tender as could be, her knife sliding right through the meat before she brought to her mouth, just as Esperia offered yet another adorable comment. "Likewise, Princess." Was what she replied with, a simple comment from a simple girl, though the look of happiness and contentment she gave Esperia made it clear that her feelings were anything but simple. "God..." Fia muttered to herself as she took another swig of her ale, cheeks already starting to get flushed. "I really am a lucky gal, huh?" |

Spend all your luck and retry coupons to score a spoiled little princess like me~" Esperia hummed with a playful smile as she leaned closer to Fia again. "After this war... how about we visit your father during our trip?" She smiled kindly at her lover as she explained her intentions further. "Aside from wanting to meet him, I also want us to reassure him that it's only a matter of time before the Barone family is whole again, right?" A wink followed by the girl as she suddenly felt a light jolt run across her body, a sensation that caused Asmodeus to manifest in her ephemeral form at the other side of the seats, humming softly into her thoughts. "Hmm interesting~ Your compatibility is rising again~" Asmodeus smile clearly suggested she was pleased while Esperia raised a hand to her head, almost looking as if she had a headache while whispering softly. "What do you mean 'compatibility'..." Yet Asmodeus merely disappeared back into her thoughts, instead causing her voice to resound from within. "It means that things will become even more exciting soon~" |

Fia playfully protested as she dug into her own meal, devouring the steak like a hungry beast. "C'mon, don' act like there wasn't skill there too. Ain't easy charmin' a Princess." She'd quip with a self-satisfied look, seeming to feel not only lucky, but also proud that she'd ended up with her lovely girlfriend, who once again surprised Fia be mentioning they should visit Baldo after their business in Crocus was concluded. "Yeah... That's jus' right, Princess. You an' me gonna make that place whole, ya hear?" Fia affirmed, thinking the idea sounded excellent. After everything that had occurred, she wanted nothing more than to see her father again, and to bring him back to the Barone orphanage day... Even if she now knew that things wouldn't be that simple. The steam punk frowned, prodding her steak idly as memories returned to her. Like Esperia, she'd had her own 'benefactor' of sorts, even if she'd yet to tell anyone that tale. But regardless of how Fia felt, she knew things could be handled simply. She got her father back, cleared his name, did whatever it was the man who brought out her Titan powers wanted, and then went home. Preferably, with Esperia at her side. She gazed sideways to her lover, looking affectionately at the one she considered her salvation. Though, that look soon turned to concern, as she noticed a less than pleasant expression on Esperia's face, her hand raised to her head like she was in pain. "You alright Princess?" |

Just as sudden as the sensation had come, it had also left her once more and she finally found her body relax a bit. "It seems my power is growing again but my body still needs to adjust to it, so I had this weird feeling just now." Pausing for a moment she shook her head lightly and tried to bring forth a smile. "But I'm fine now~ Really~" The girl tried to reassure Fia as she took a long sip of her drink. "Let's hope those Grims don't keep us waiting too long~ Gotta beat their rears and then go to that celebrating, right?" A playful wink followed as she tried to change the subject a bit, soon resuming to take yet another bite from her meal while idly pondering about the upcoming conflict. She still wasn't sure of what to expect, and whether they were prepared enough, but she certainly was going to be doing her best to ensure it was a conflict that she, Fia and Liana would walk away from alive. She wasn't going to permit anyone to take away yet another important part of her life... |

Fia supposed she could at least understand that much, she herself had had difficulties in her rude awakening to the power of the Titan. As Esperia insistently reassured that everything was fine now, Fia let out a small sigh, ever uncertain and worried. "If ya say so, Princess... But tell me if ya start feelin' weird again, aight?" Fia would request with all the protective nature of the big sister she was. Esperia changed the subject, cheering Fia up a bit as she smiled playfully back. "Heh, cheers to that... Can't wait for that celebration." Fia proclaimed heartily as she took another healthy swig from her pint. The alcoholic beverage certainly helped the stress of the upcoming battle, as did the filling steak. Soon enough, Fia and Esperia had both thoroughly taken care of their massive meals, and with their bellies full and satisfied, they'd only one other matter to attend to. After paying for their meals, the two girls would wander over to the innkeep, where Fia would take the lead in requesting and paying for a room for two. "Two single beds for you girls?" The innkeep queried obliviously. "Er, no... One double." Fia awkwardly corrected, rubbing the back of her neck a little bashfully. "Ah, my apologies. I'll go grab the key." The keep would state before walking into a back room to retrieve their roomkey. Fia let out a small sigh at the awkward little encounter, looking down to Esperia as she did. Eisenberg When they approached the innkeep and Fia took the lead Esperia couldn't help but let out a little giggle at the awkward correction her love made, leading Esperia to gently hook her arms around Fia's own while she looked up at Fia as she asked her question. "Hmm? I wonder..." The girl mused softly as she seemingly tried to think a bit further onto the question before suddenly hugging Fia's arm and looking up at her with a smile. "You know me~ I like pillows and spice, and all things nice! So it's only natural I like girls~" A little giggle followed while she shook her head lightly in response. "While I grew up somewhat indifferent toward romance due to the nature of my family, it was later on that I started to realize that one of the things I desired ever since I lost my family was the warmth of being loved by someone, to know that you're the most important person in the world to them? So precious that no matter what happens, they won't be abandoning you? An unbreakable bond~" She explained with her usual soft tone while slowly her cheeks flushed up and she whispered more bashfully. Fia herself could relate, to some degree. Even with all her family, she'd often wondered what it would be like to have something more, something different. Romance, she supposed, that it sounded a little too sappy for her liking. Esperia concluded by once again mentioning her love for pillows, earning a grin of amusement from Fia. "Ha! Callin' it a 'tiny fetish' is one helluva understatement, Princess!" She'd tease, her expression softening and cheeks flushing a bit as another thought came to mind. Just as the inkeep returned with the keys, Fia offered a simple sentence to Esperia. "Y'know, it's a good thing ya found 'em. That... Person... you were lookin' fer." She'd say almost bashfully, indirectly affirming what Esperia had wanted. Someone who loved her. Someone saw her as their most important person. Somone who wouldn't abandon her. Fia took them with a nod of gratitude, before taking Esperia's hand and wandering to the second level to find their room... |

Albeit, I'm sure I qualify as an endearing and adorable pervert~" However, as the Innkeep returned and offered them the key the simple sentence that Esperia received had a much greater impact on her than what one might had imagined. She finally had found the one she was longing for. Her eyes had first widened slightly in surprise before she started to tear up softly: She had finally found that one person that had loved her so immensely, that one who considered her their most important person is the entire world. Someone she could rely on and knew that she wouldn't get abandoned by. Even if she already felt it, to have Fia directly state it had a much greater effect to the point she tackle-hugged her and nuzzled into Fia's bosom to hide her expression, but amidst those pillows her voice could be heard in a soft whisper, the soft and tender tone of it clearly conveying her heartfelt feelings. Thank you my love~" Only after the Innkeep had returned Esperia's thoughts returned back to reality as she turned around and exclaimed happily, her excitable motions making the back of her head cause that pillowy support to shift lightly at the up and down pressure of her head that came alongside her breath. Fia stammered out in surprise as a sudden small weight suddenly tackled her, pressing itself into her breast. She looked down at Esperia with a bit of confusion and uncertainty at first, but observing that bashful face, and hearing that tender tone... It made everything clear. Fia just smiled back, her usual toothy grin, more than happy to have made her lover happy. "Don' mention it, my Princess." She uttered, emphasizing the 'my'. The inkeep returned to interrupt them, offering small comments that Esperia nonetheless found away to use in her teasing of Fia. "Th-That's not what he meant!" Fia snapped, even though it was obviously not an actual misinterpretation. Moving on before the innkeep could question what he'd heard, Fia marched on upstairs with her lover still seemingly affixed to her breasts, and soon enough she and personal pervert were standing outside their new lodgings for the next few weeks. "Here's hopin' it's got decent soundproofin'..." Fia would mutter teasingly as she opened the door, revealing the room before them. "I dunno~ I have grown rather fond of that room in Baska~" Yet as Fia pressed her hand down onto the bed to test its sturdiness that Esperia started to experience something unusual. It had been a moment after she had pressed her own hands onto the bed that the girl felt a wave of excitement and warmth overwhelm her, one that almost clouded most of her thoughts as the girl recalled a past warning: The stronger she'd become, the more intense her lust and desires would be, and there was only one thing that Esperia desired the most in this world, and that was a certain person. For Fia it might had been a bit of a surprise, how Esperia tried to reach with her hands for Fia's cheeks, leaning in with an attempt to kiss her. "Fia... I can't hold back anymore..." A soft whimper escaped the girl as she tried to push her lover onto the bed, soon trying to straddle her as she climbed on top of her lover while looking down upon her with a mixture of love and lust. Fia would huff in agreement as she continued pressing her hand on the bed. "O'course, maybe that was just cause I ended stayin' there more 'an I-" Before she could finish that sentence, Esperia had her be the cheeks leaning in for a kiss. Of course, Fia eagerly obliged at first, pressing lips hard against her lover's own. Man, she really couldn't wait to get down to business, could she? But as the kiss ended, and Fia looked into Esperia's expression, she did not see that usual eagerness, nor hear it in her voice. The desire remained, but there was... Concern? Before Fia could ponder on it a moment longer, she was suddenly upon the bed, Esperia straddling on top of her with a lustful look unlike any she'd given before. But there was more than that to notice, as mysterious energy seemed to chaotically flow through Esperia, like a flickering light bulb. Glimpses of Asmodeus, then glimpses of Esperia, like neither was really there, and neather really wasn't.... Fia was still in awe, in shock, not looking terrible eager herself about what was happening, if only for how confused she was. Even as pleasure flowed through her, her own lust coming out with the groping off her 'pillows' and the lips against her neck, something felt so horribly off. Asmodeus... Was doing something... In a sudden move, one of Fia's arms suddenly grabbed onto Esperia/Asmodeus' shoulder, vapor rising as it grew in size and strength and she used it to turn the tables, pushing the demoness onto her back while Fia ended up on top, her body between the black-haired trickster's legs and her arms pinning the demon lords wrists. Looking down at her was not a face of lust, but love, in the form of some deep concern. "Asmodeus..." Fia growled suddenly. "What the hell are ya doin to 'er?!" She seemed angry, but Fia's expression indicated otherwise. She wasn't furious, she was scared. Scared for Esperia, about what this all meant... About if she was losing her. |
